There was something off about Yvarn. Ruby couldn't put his finger on it just yet but he knew there was definitely something odd going on. It made him curious. He decided to just let whatever was going on play out for now. He was much more interested in eating and then going to check out another place.

"It is delicious right?" Ruby chuckled and then split up what remained of the fruit to share with Yvarn. He then took his time to eat what he had left to savor the flavor.

When Ruby was finally done, he cleaned up after himself and floated everything into the trash. He then waited for Yvarn to finish with whatever he had before floating up out his seat.

"Where to next on this lovely date of ours?" Ruby laughed as he started making his way towards the exit.

Okay, now Yvarn was talking. "Clothing store? Does that mean you are getting me some outfits to put on too?" Ruby chuckled as he floated beside Yvarn.

He absolutely needed to get new clothes. Ruby only brought a few outfits. The rest of his clothes were probably in the trash somewhere on the planet he was at before here. As much as he liked clothes, he always needed to fully start over everytime he went somewhere new. It was easier to blend in that way.

Ruby grinned and decided to lower himself a bit so he wasn't floating too high above Yvarn. He then wrapped his arm around Yvarn's arm. He was definitely seeing how far he could go with this "date" thing. Plus if anyone asked he could literally just say he is on a date.
What was the saying?..uh?....
Old habits die hard?

A few. Excellent. This was going really well for Ruby then. He honestly just wanted to understand the English language everything else was just a well welcomed bonus. A free meal, a few outfits, and a speedrun on the English language.

It seemed like Yvarn was finally taking notice to Ruby's antics but that wasn't going to stop him from continuing them.

"Me? Being flirtatious?" Ruby just hugged up against Yvarn's arm some more as they continued on their way to the clothing store.

"Hypothetically, if I were being flirtatious, what would be the problem with that?" He asked curiously.

Ruby trailed one of his clawed fingers down Yvarn's arm. "Does it make you a bit uncomfortable?"

"Pretending to be oblivious?" Ruby glanced up at Yvarn and smiled. So he was just playing along with it as well then? Ruby just snickered at that.

He floated up a bit so he could rest his head on Yvarn's shoulders. "Oh? Is that right?" He asked curiously when Yvarn told him he wasn't sure about which way he swinged. Ruby was already having fun with teasing him but that tidbit of info just added more fuel to the fire.
"Well you won't know until you try."

He was just going to leave it at that for now. He was more focused on getting a couple of new outfits.

"Is that the clothing store over there?" Ruby asked when he finally saw something that looked to be like a clothing store. He only really noticed because of the mannequins in the window. What was on display didn't look too bad, it was actually very fancy. This definitely wasn't the store with the low-prices.

Yvarn's thoughts were interesting. It seemed the teasing was getting to him now. Which was great for Ruby. To Ruby, what he was learning of Yvarn's past romantic relationships was kinda....
Sad? Lackluster? It was just very different from his own experiences.

And then there was this robe and what Ruby could assume was some dance. Hm. There was someone with Yvarn that Ruby could assume was his date...maybe a ex-lover?
"Who was she?" Ruby asked curiously.
