Ruby heard Yvern's thoughts. He could probably make a comment on it but he decided not too. He will just let it slide for now and continue on with the conversation.

"A home on Manta Carlos. It sounds like a nice idea but I haven't even gotten used to the space station yet." He chuckled.

Ruby shrugged at the S.O comment. He never really thought about that especially with having to be on the move every now and then.

Ruby quickly spotted the fast-food place's sign and then made a gesture toward it. "Ooo, is this where you are taking me? The colorful sign is nice even though I can't properly read it just yet." He was trying to make out what the letters on the sign was saying but he immediately gave up. Too much effort when he had Yvarn here to just tell him.
He was starting at least understand some things. Like he could tell that place was for food.

"That sounds like a good time to me." Ruby chuckled as the two approached the restaurant.

As they entered, Ruby took his time to just look around. He was already familiar with the concept of fast food, in fact to the point of actually eating things like instant meals. He was not a fan of those.

Honestly he would have preferred something more fancy but he wasn't going to complain. He was getting a free meal after all.

"Low-prices huh?" Ruby floated over to what looks like a digital menu on the wall and decided to look at it. There was definitely an option to change the language but he kept it on the english version. Some of it was starting to make sense. He was able to recognize a few things on the menu from other planets he has been too.

"Yvarn, I need your assistance. What is this word?" He pointed to an item on the menu. Which was literally just a cheeseburger called The American Dream.

Ruby knew a thing or two about cutting costs around. Managing multiple bank accounts in various currencies under multiple pains was a nightmare.

Ruby eyed Yvarn curiously when he pronounced what Ruby was trying to read.

"A...cheeseburger?" Huh. Ruby never heard of that before. Ruby now had a lot of questions about this cheeseburger thing. He literally could not imagine what it was. "What is a cheeseburger? Is it some form of meat or vegetable? And why is it called The American Dream?"

He tapped the screen again to see if there were an image and lo and behold, there it was. It looked...somewhat appetizing. "This is some for.......Eather Sandwich, yes? I will like to try this American Dream thing...and - oh! OH! Yes, something I know!"

Ruby clicked on another item that appeared to look like just a ball of gelatin with a core inside of it. "I have had these before. They are very sweet and come in many flavors. The outside melts into a liquid once it is in your mouth and the core is sour and chewy. It is a type of fruit I think or made from one."

Ruby then looked at Yvarn. "I will to get both of those or, I can just get whatever you want me to try."

Ruby floated over to the table with Yvarn after he had explained what a burger was and ordered their food. Ruby then floated himself into the seat opposite of Yvarn to sit down in.

"Hmm. I like both sweet and sour things. I'm not much of a fan of things that are salty or too spicy. If I had to choose between sweet and sour I would choose something sour or tangy."

Which is why Ruby is saving the alien gelatin fruit thing for last. He used his telekinesis to open up the packaging his burger was in to examine it. This was obviously a fast food place so it clearly wasn't the golden standard of burgers but it was decently made.

He floated the burger into his hands and then took a single bite out of it. There was.... A very long pause after he swallowed. He was definitely judging this burger. "Hmm. This is tasty. There was something really good in here."

The burger floated out of his hands again and slowly started getting pulled apart by an invisible force, layer by layer. Once everything was separated he floated a single green pickle towards himself. "What is this? I enjoy the flavor it has."

"Pickeled Cucumber? I see. I will be on a look out for these things." Ruby stated as they then reconstructed the burger with their telekinesis. When the burger was perfectly put back together, Ruby floated back into his hands to take a few more bites.

"And yes, Telekenis is helpful. It makes things easier but not everyone is used to or enjoy having others in their mind. While conversing like this is normal for my people, others find it odd and intrusive."
He honestly finished the burger pretty quickly while he was speaking to Yvarn. That was like, three big bites? Anyway now on to the best part, the alien fruit thing.

Ruby floated the fruit out of it's container and then tore a piece off with his fingers.. He then stuck his tongue out and placed piece on it as he started intently at Yvarn. He was...definitely doing the thing. "Mmm. This is still as sweet as I remembered."

Ruby then licked off his fingers and gave Yvarn a coy smile. "Do you want a bite?"
His tone of voice in Yvarn's head was definitely on the seductive side of things when he asked that question. He then floated the fruit up towards Yvarn.
