Most children born of demons were demons themselves. She wondered who his mother hand been, but decided it wasn't worth asking right now. She wouldn't consider him a sibling. He wasn't a demon. He was a tea drinking vampire.

She gave him a somber once over. "I'm taking you home and buying you a big fuckin' box of tea." She said this like it was a fact, but her voice had the ring of a question. She rose an eyebrow at him.

He didn't expect her to get much knowledge out of his past. He really wasn't like anyone else. He would have rather been a demon, not some young, stupid tea drinker. Disgusted by his own words, he swallowdd his spit. He knew that he would never really belong to any family. Unless there was someone who wanted a little boy that didn't even have a past he wanted to share, or a bright future. Who would want to cuddle up to a little boy? The thought made him a bit sad.

"A box?" His ears twitched a bit at the girls' words. Tea in general was amazing, so hearing that be was getting a full box of it excited him. "As long as I don't end up chopped in that box afterwards, fine." He crossed his arms as he looked down to the flower. "Hm." He said almost silently to himself, thinking that it was funny that this all started with a stupid little growing thing.

"Sure, dude, I'll get you like five boxes, I don't care. And nah, I don't chop people up....usually." Eli grinned, then motioned him along as she sauntered off. She'd lead him to a car, a luxury silver sedan and unlock it. "You calling shotgun?"

Eliana slipped into her car and started it. It was a smooth ride, this thing. When the car came to life, rock music would fill the car, low enough to be background noise. Eliana bobbed her head to the beat.

Eliana didn't normally like the idea of taking care of a kid, but a tea drinking vampire who was over one hundred in the body of a kid? That was too fuckin' awesome to pass up, and she was certain he'd take care of himself, for the most part.

No chopping, that was good enough for him. Deciding to leave rthe flower in the ground, he stood up as his new, well, something, started to walk away. He followed closely, not wanting her to try to lose him by playing some trick with the trees around them. The shiny car was a surprise. Of course, a lot of people on the island had cars, even though it was easy to walk around, like he did. "Fancy, and you bet." He said as he smiled brightly, still a little cautious of the girl, but a bit too overjoyed by his chance to ride in a car again.

Though the music was rather low, it still made Monochrome jump, forgetting the sound of rock. He wasn't sure if he should step in and make a comment, or keep to himself. He chose the latter. He gazed over at her, full of life, her head bobbing to the music, as if she had wrote it and she was playing every note with every motion of her head. "You can turn it up." He says, feeling as if low rock music was unheard of. He was immortal, he may as well bust his ears out listening to good music.

"All right," Eliana said, switching the music up until the car throbbed with the bass of the song. Eli kept her gaze on the road, somewhat dancing to the music as they drove along.

After stopping to get him, however, many and whatever flavor of teas he wanted, she drove home. Her penthouse apartment was a decent way away from the forest they'd met in. She lived overlooking the beach in a pricey part of Manta Carlos city. Her apartment was modern and clean, with an open floor plan. Her living room and kitchen were separated by an island counter bar. Right beyond the bar was an oak wood dining table that seats six. Most of the appliances in her kitchen are stainless steel.

Beyond the kitchen was her living room. It had floor to ceiling windows to provide natural light and a gas fireplace. All of her floors were done in dark, hardwood. Hung above the fireplace was a flat screen t.v. She had two leather couches with cup holders, each diagonal to the t.v. There was a small glass coffee table situated in the center of the t.v. and two couches.

From the living room, there was a relatively large terrace with a small, four-person glass table overlooking the ocean. Besides the four person table is an outdoor grill. On the opposite side of the table from the grill was an umbrella, two loungers, and a jacuzzi.

Down one side hallway from the living room was where the three bedrooms of the penthouse were, but Eli didn't show him any of those.

"Tada, hooome," she sang once she assumed he was accustomed to everything. People were usually surprised to see where she lived.

Monochrome covered his ears for a second as the music was turned up, but quickly unconvered them, seeing that it did not hurt the girls' ears. After a few seconds, it wasn't that loud. Letting the music fill his body, he bobbed to the music, closing his eyes. It enjoyed this. He misses this connection with people. He missed feeling happy sometimes.

He was ecstatic about his gifts, as she really didn't need to shower him, but she had. Though they won't the most expensive gifts, or the highest of quality from things around the world that he had compared it to, it was good for the island.

As they entered her house, he was taken back a bit. It was beautiful. He didn't even know what to say about it. "Wow." He uttered out almost breathless as he fixed his eyes on different areas of the house. Every detail caught him. He wanted this type of house, something that was way out of his range.

"Nice, eh?" Eliana grinned. "Make yourself at home kid. Want me to put on some tea for you?" Eliana strolled into the kitchen, looking around until she found a teapot and put it on. "There's a half bathroom down at the end of the hall. I don't know if you ever have to use those, but figured I'd offer anyway. I got all manners of tv stations, music, the couch is comfy as all hell."

"Sure." He nodded, still not so comfortable with being as polite as he could be with her. There were so many unknowns that Monochrome would soon find out, either my persuasion or an interrogation. Gazing at the floor, he placed his gifts by the door, taking off his light brown loafers as he stepped into his house. He was still wanting to act a bit polite, as he was getting tea out of it. It was good, because he was starting to feel a little drained. "Okay." He nodded again, poking his head over there as he looked for a short manner of time before he stood hovering over the couch. He was unsure if he was allowed to touch it, let alone sit on it. It could have some barrier or poison on it for all he knew
