"You seem nervous. You think I'm going to kill you or something? I mean, you're a vampire, right? A tea drinking one, maybe, but still a vampire. Don't you have super strength or anything cool like that?"
Monochrome sighed in relief as she stood up to get the tea. Not that he was nervous or embarrassed, he just didn't know what to do. He was in someone's house that he didn't know. For all the expensive stuff she had in her house, he wondered how she got all of it, what type of money it was. Gambling money? Drug money? Prostitution money? Perhaps she was just a normal demon, who had a job. He gazed at the tray, seeing all of the extra things that she had to offer. Good. He was sick and tired of bland, plain tea.
"I'm not nervous." He crossed his arms as he glared at the girl. How was he supposed to feel around someone he just met? "I can see in the dark as if it was daytime." He smirked at her, feeling a bit proud of his rather simple powers. "I'm very attentive too. As well as my eyes getting red from sunset to sunrise." He chuckled, wondering if they had glowed either, or if it wasn't dark enough. "When I get pissed, I emit some red mist, or aura." Even though he had these powers for a long time, he still wasn't sure exactly what everything was, or what it was meant to do. "Herbs and things i can eat glow for me too." He sniffled, signalling that he was done talking about himself. "What about you girl?"

"Also, pretty impolite to still be all 'girl' to me after I bought you tea and invited you in. I mean, you're about ready to hurt my feelings. I will cry about it, too. Makes me not even wanna tell you about myself."
She sniffled and looked away, taking an obnoxious sip of tea. She was totally messing with him in some regard. Though, Eli really didn't want to talk about her powers or herself. Easier that way.
He blushed a bit, not knowing that she had a power such as that. The way she had said it sounded so, intimate. He wished it would have been a surprise, he liked to see people's reactions to his differences from them. As he gazed at her for a second, he noticed the tea. He was getting hungry just smelling it. He turned to the tray, making up his own tea, rather quickly, making it the way he wanted. Monochrome sniffed in the scent as he pressed it up against his nose, which would have fogged up his glasses, if he had any.
"I'm impolite person by design." He smirked as he took a long drink of it, letting the hotness soothe him. It was amusing to him to have people dislike him, he loved to see the hate in their eyes, the burning passion to strangle him. As Eliana started to sniffled and move her gaze over, he wondered if her quietness was fake. Probably. If she didn't want to talk, he wasn't going to force her, now. He would wait until he had a good cup of tea until he lashed out with questions. "You never asked me to be polite to you, nor did you say I had to like you." He closed his eyes calmly as he took a quick sip. "Thought you liked it like that."

Eliana reclined on the couch, elbows resting on its arm as she watched him. Maybe he could have construed the stare as intense, but mostly Eliana was feeling relaxed. Tired, even. It was the kind of good tired accompanied by a well received night. "I don't like it that way. I mean, I don't much care if you do dislike me, attention is attention, but things are made easier when two people enjoy each other. I like you. I find you intriguing. Adorable, even."
There were a few things he did want to ask, but he wasn't sure where to start, if at all. "Hm." He said to himself, finishing his cup so that his attention wouldn't be focused on it. "How long have you been alive, or a demon?" Monochrome wanted to know if he was older than her, which would make him laugh, as she looked much older.
"Adorable?" It seemed if the rest of her words flew by him, that simple word firing him up. He sat on his legs as he leaned closer to her, being a few feet from her face. "I'm not adorable. Yes, my body may look like an younger brother to you, but I am not adorable." He hated when people called him something he wasn't. Did he go around playing with butterflies or holding stuffed teddy bears? No, that was for children. Feeling himself holding his air, he huffed out, leaning back on his legs as he stared at her. "If you want me to even tolerate you, treating me like an equal would be your best move."

She'd lean away and back against the couch. "How do you equate being treated like an adult? As for my age," she glanced at him and winked, "older than you. But you really shouldn't ask a woman about her age, it's rude you know. I've been a demon since birth."
Once again, this girl had a way of making him turn shades of red he didn't even know existed. The closeness between them was almost unbearable for him. He didn't like it, it felt too foreign, like a bad piece of sushi or a fowl cup of tea. "So you make adults bend the knee to you and blush?" He questioned her, as it seemed like more of a game for children to do that. "Or is your maturity as a demon not enough yet?" He smirked, pushing back at the same she did. He liked this distance a lot more.
"I'm just an impolite little bastard." He winked back, frowning afterwards that he was still younger. "He didn't like being younger than everyone else. He already looked like he was a child, so he had to contradict his age and his appearance. He acted like an adult but he still was a child on the outside. "And I like it just fine, without the sense that you are the vampire and not me."

For a moment, Eliana was silent, sucking in the quiet and letting it sink into her bones. She liked her home. It was cozy and always the right temperature (in her opinion). When she opened her eyes just barely and looked at him again, she considered him. "Again, I just think you're sensitive. By demanding to be treated like an adult, you're just going to be treated like a kid more. You're in Manta Fuckin' Carlos, age is but a number around here. Physical appearance don't mean shit."
Have fun? He didn't even want to know what she meant by her words. It was most likely something that he didn't want to do. Her words brought even more relief to her. He wasn't the only one. Though blushing wasn't that big of a deal, he didn't like his face become red for no reason. He wanted control over that part of himself. She was just some girl that had gotten maybe just a big too close to his face, or said the odd word that triggered something inside him.
He kept quiet, just as she did, not wanting to add to her amusement and victory over him. As her gaze lowered on him, he was a bit speechless, feeling as if he had to quickly think of something to say. "U-um." He stumbled out, then remained silent as she added on to her statement. "Right, isn't that what we all do though, kind of do the opposite of what people want?" He knew that he did it, on a regular basis. "But I don't think wanting to not be treated like a child, isn't being sensitive. Being called cause and adorable and getting my hair ruffled makes me want to punch them." Yes, Monochrome couldn't help that he looked young, or that he usually didn't tell people about his immortality, but he didn't want to feel like he had to.
