Were human relationships really so short lived that Angelo figured they'd break up over something like that? Not that Tybalt had a really good reference point either way; he hadn't been in a relationship with a human for a very long time. He had been in a few in his early days, when he was first cast down. But then they died and he experienced the same heartbreak every time, so he stopped for his own sake.

But Angelo would live longer. Just a little. Maybe.

He leaned over and gave Angelo a little kiss on the temple, just in case. Ah, when did he become so mushy? The answer was that he always had been, he just didn't show it at all in public.

"Well, I can always fulfill that fantasy of yours and draw you like a French girl."

A kiss to the temple shouldn't have been nearly as satisfying as it was, and yet it definitely was. He supposed there was just something satisfying about managing to wrangle a kiss out of someone who was so clearly anti kiss. Not that he thought Tybalt hated him or anything, but like he'd admitted, he wasn't very good at showing affection.

"I didn't actually mean it. It's not like it's really my fantasy, but... you know." He didn't quite go red, but he did seem a bit flustered at the mention of Tybalt bringing up his joke. "Also, I'd be an Italian girl, thank you very much."
