Claudia looked over towards where he'd mentioned, searching for a couple seconds before she spotted the phone and shook her head. "No, mine's in a purple case..." She set the tablet down on the table and got up from her seat, tracing back to the couch she'd been lounging on before she'd been caught thieving.

She stared down at the couch in vague despair. This was going to be so gross. She leaned to very carefully pick up one of the cushions and peeked beneath it, then placed it back. Rinse, repeat. . .Eventually, thankfully, after much cringing and quiet grumbling about how she'd have to wash her hands after this, she found her phone stuck between an end cushion and the arm.

"There we go!" she breathed, plucking it up and brushing off her hand on her jeans; she switched phone-hands and wiped the other one off as well. She was going to have to wash her hands and change her jeans now. "Sorry about that." With a sudden laugh, she said, "It's a good thing I didn't leave back then; I'd have gotten written up if I came back."

Claudia returned to Clement's side, her phone unlocked. "Okay, are you ready?" she said, and when he confirmed, she'd slowly and clearly read off her number to him. If he didn't confirm, well.

Clement traded numbers with Claudia and gave her a small, rather sheepish smile. "Well, that is that. Are you available this weekend? Sunday, perhaps? Around four in the afternoon?"

He stood up and started to extend his hand for Claudia to shake, but awkwardly pulled it back. "So, ah, did you want to keep talking? Or do you need to get back to class?"
He checked his phone for the time. They hadn't been talking very long. But he wasn't sure if he was keeping her from anything important.

With a grin, Claudia said, "Four p.m. on Sunday sounds perfect. Have you ever been to the Forbidden Zone?" She made a new reminder in her phone for a good three hours before the actual coffee, then turned off her phone and slid it into her back pocket.

The young woman perked up and reached for his hand too, but she was too late and was left with her hand awkwardly hanging in the air after he pulled back. She burst out laughing, the kind that made your stomach hurt it was so hard, and her hand fell back to her side. "Wow--!" She giggle-snorted and tried to straighten back up. "This is great. You're such a cute guy!" she said as she reached to wipe a small tear of laughter from her eye. When she calmed down and trusted herself enough not to crack up again, she answered him.

"I actually finished classes for the day just before I came in, so I'm all free with a head full of German. What about you? You're the one who's actually got classes to teach. Aber, ich möchte mit dir mehr sprechen.[sup]1[/sup]" Or should she have used a formal pronoun there? Shoot. Her German probably wasn't perfect, but she at least seemed more confident with it compared to her French.

[sup]1[/sup] - (German) "But, I would like to talk with you more."

Clement was on the verge of blushing like a schoolboy, but he had more composure than that. But mention of the Forbidden Zone made him pause. Jane Doe, the Poltergeist he had asked out some time ago, had worked there. And on their very first date she had passed on to her afterlife. Such was Clement's track record for romance thus far. He hadn't been back to the Forbidden Zone sense, mostly because he felt awful for being the cause of them losing an employee.

But Clement was a grown man many times over. He wasn't going to be intimidated away from spending time with a lovely young lady just because of his own personal hang ups. So he nodded.
"I do know of it. I used to frequent it quite a bit, but haven't made the trip out there recently."

Her mention of classes to teach gave Clement pause. He checked his phone once again and felt his face fall a bit in disappointment.
"Ah, you are correct. I thought I had a longer break, but my alarm was actually about to go off."
Clement was awful with time management on his own, which was why the alarms on his phone we're a blessing. He held out his hand for Claudia to take, but instead of a handshake he would bring it up to gently kiss her knuckles.

"Auf Weidersehen, Fräulein Winchester."

"Oh! I'd hoped you would've been able to stay a little bit longer," Claudia said, no less than disappointed herself. She picked up Clement's tablet that she'd set down before, but quickly switched it to one hand to take his before he pulled back again.

It was safe to say that the kiss to her hand took her completely by surprise. Was this third base? No romantic novel nor sappy rom-com could've prepared her for this. What do you do when a guy kisses your hand? Do you, like, kiss his back? No, wait, people don't do that; that'd be weird.

With a totally red face that she had nowhere near the composure to even begin to control, she awkwardly, like, curtsied or something. She barely even knew how to curtsy. It probably looked really dumb, and that just made her blush even more.

"B-Bis Sonntag, Herr Lamont!" With that, she pulled back and hurried from the teacher's lounge, unable to stop the smile that pulled at her lips.
