Once outside, Nat casually tucked her hands into her pocket, strolling away from the cafe, leading Sprinkles along down the footpath. With the weather still cold, there weren't too many other people outside with them for the moment.
"It took me a bit of time to get used to my different forms." She explained as they walked. "Obviously, two legs is pretty different from four. You'll be going in reverse, but I'm guessing it might be similar for you at first, until you get used to how your body has changed. I bet all that studying you've been doing should help speed that up."
Once she was finished talking, she figured it'd be easier to show him. Without breaking her stride, Nat's body began to change. Her clothes began to disappear, replaced as a black coat of fur grew out and over it. Her limbs bent and extended, shifting from its human features into a far more feline one as she stepped down onto all fours.
Nat had shifted into her larger cat form, her build and features appearing more in line with a panther than a regular house cat. Aside from its obviously larger size, the only other unusual feature her big cat form had was her distinctive tail, splitting into two from the middle.
"I figured it'd be easier for you to take in all the details if I went with this size." She added. "Just so you can get a feel for what shifting can look like."
Well, that was the main reason. As childish as it might seem, a small part of Nat still liked showing off.
After giving Sprinkles a moment to take it in. She began to shrink down, still not breaking her stride, before eventually settling into her regular cat form.
