Lucas mused himself about what the people he had left behind, were doing and feeling in response to her statement. Wondering if there would be a day one day where each of them could meet there pasts. Even if there was though 5 to 6 years of absence would be something hard to explain, as well as there death. There was also the fact even trying would break rule surronding the island and the veil.
Sighing Lucus was lost for words. The conversation having slowly headed towards a more somber tone. He needed to try and shift the conversation in a more pleasent direction. "But this island is amazing. I'm sure we will both come to make friends and a life here." He put on a smile as best as he could.
