"Elisa." She explained. "I am uncertain of how well it will suit her, but I hope it will at least look visually appealing to her."

Her brow furrowed for a moment as frowned.

"Unfortunately, this still leaves Bel and Mr Finch unaccounted for. I am still uncertain what I should purchase for them."

"Bel," Celeste said, "I have her in one of my classes. I don't know too much about her other than she's a goddess of some sort," she admitted. "How about a purse or bag of so sort?" she suggested thinking that it was a safe gift to get a girl.

"Mr. Finch, he's a bit harder to buy for, I'm afraid," Celeste admitted. She didn't know the house parent that well. He seemed very nice, but also a very odd character.

"Something bird related? Maybe a book or something?" she suggested.

Euphemia thought about it for a moment. She didn't really know her friends from the dorms very well, or at least not much more than she knew other people. She knew, at the very least, that Finch liked birds. Even someone like Euphemia could figure that out just by looking at him. Bel she was a little less sure of, so Celestes suggestion of something practical made sense to her.

"Very well, I think a purse may be good." She nodded as she took the pendant over to the counter. "As for Finch, he does keep many birds within the dorm...perhaps some high quality bird feed? The kind that is more expensive than normal? He may appreciate that."

Celeste thought about Euphemia's idea for Finch for a moment, and then nodded. "That's a very good idea actually," she said with a smile. "I am quite sure Finch will like something like that for his birds," she remarked as she spied some men's watches, and decided to purchase one for her father.

"Did you want to get the necklace, and we can check out the purses and buy some bird feed?" she suggested as she picked out a platinum watch and paid for it with a credit card.

"Yes. I would like to." She nodded, paying for the necklace once Celeste was done. She still didn't quite know where anything could be found in the mall, so she continued to follow behind her teacher, letting her lead the way.

"Ms Forestier, who might that be for?" She asked, tilting her head curiously at the watch.

Celeste wasn't sure at first what Euphemia was referring to. Then she realised that she meant the watch. "Well, the watch I bought for my father actually," she told Euphemia. "Although, I may end up giving it to one of my sons instead," she confessed, not sure it was elegant enough for her father.

"It might be a bit too young for him," she thought now as she considered it again.

"I see." She nodded, peering at the watch again, before looking back at Celeste. "What sort of man is your father?" She asked.

Euphemia never knew her father. She knew of the man believed to be her father, but that was about it. She'd never had a family, so Celeste and her much larger family made her curious.

"My father is hard to explain," Celeste to Euphemia as they walked out of the jewelry section to find the purses. "He's always been very kind and generous with me, certainly more supportive than my mother," here she sighed a little, "but very straightforward, and no-nonsense too."

"Although, I guess, to those on the outside, they'd say he is strict, aloof, maybe even demanding, but I think that's because he tends to always act so formal, and demands respect from those around him." Celeste said as they made their way past the shoe department which was usually near the purse and accessory section.

“He appears to be a reliable man.” Euphemia mused, nodding at her explanation. Hearing how he appeared to other people, it reminded her of some of the men she’d served under in the past. They were, for the most part, quite strict with her, though few could have been described as kind.

“Do you see each other often?” She asked. “I am unfamiliar how families normally behave around each other, I am curious whether you interact much outside of events such as this.”

Celeste looked at Euphemia as she asked about Rafael, her father. "The truth is I see my father more now, since we both moved to Manta Carlos and I adopted Ebviony, who he adores, than when I was a child," she told Euphemia truthfully.

"My parents were never married," she told her, "so growing up, I only saw him during holidays, school breaks, things like that. My father lived in Spain and mom and I, we lived in Paris... I do wish I could have seen him more often though," she admitted as the two of them came to the purses.
