When he saw the receipt, Broen narrowed his eyes and started pacing, teleporting short distances. He was agitated. Thinking. "No, I at least know the cop I'm thinking of is clean. As for your PA..."

Broen stopped. Considered. "Find a new PA. But don't fire her yet. I'm gonna follow her. See where she goes." And threaten her, but that wasn't something Broen felt he had to say.

"I know, I was thinking you might warn your friend, maybe, so they are aware that not all is as it seems, and if anything seems odd, it might very well be..." Zora corrected Broen lightly, not wanting to agitate him more than he already was when he started teleporting around her office.

"Not a problem, I was going to fire her today, but I'll just ask her to take over reception for a while." Zora stated. "Until you are done with her that is, then she's gone." Zora did not want anyone she couldn't trust around her.

"That sounds smartest. I think I can work with this. I'll let you know in the next few days what I know."

Broen stopped and then reappeared in front of Zora, looking her over. He relaxed, looking seriously less agitated than before. Like he was over whatever was bothering him in a snap.
"Don't worry about a thing. I'll keep you safe. But I'm gonna need you to give me my house robe back. Tonight, if you think you can handle it."

When Broen reappeared in from her looking relaxed, his whole demeanour changing. Zora instantly thought liquid. He was somehow ever changing like that, and it always fascinated her how he moved from emotion to emotion so quickly.

"You can most certainly have your robe back tonight," she grinned, "I'll be ready for you, I always am..." she added with a meaningful smile, "If you want, you could always come over to my place?" she suggested.

Broen smirked and gave have a casual shrug. He didn't have any plans for the night, other than going to see the one police officer. "Sure. I'll sneak in sometime tonight and catch you by surprise. It'll be fun."
