Fresh Air

Laetus held her hand and nodded. A portal opened at his side and he reached through it, pulling out a box of bandages and some peroxide. He got one of the paper towels wet with the peroxide. "This'll sting a bit." He told her before cleaning the cut. Once he had cleaned the cut, he would put a bandage around her finger. Once complete, he would let out a relieved sigh before smiling at her.
"Yes, by the way." He said before kissing her finger and releasing her.

Laetus looked confused at her first line of thought, but soon smiled and laughed. He put his arms around her and picked her up a bit off the ground, swinging her lightly about. "Whatever makes you happy, my Cherry-chan" He told her between confused laughter.

Laetus pressed his forehead against hers when he stopped, looking down at her with a warm smile.
"Ofcorse it does." He told her. "And we can spend lots of time together and do lots of fun stuff and..." He was happily thinking about what all this entailed, though maybe he was being to general. He kinda thought this was established already. Humans are strange. Her happiness was infectious though.
"... And burn waffles." He mumbled, realizing what he had forgotten. He glanced over his shoulder, but the charred waffle was already out of the waffle iron, being munched on by Zippo. How he managed to do that was a mystery.

Laetus smiled and nodded, giving her cheek a poke. "I think we're good on waffles." He said, pointing to the stack on the counter. There were atleast a dozen waffles there.
"If we're having rice, I could make some eggs for it." He told her thinking about it. "It's really good with egg in it."

Laetus let her down and went to grab a pan to cook the eggs in. When she spoke again, he turned back to her, tilting his head.
"What is it, Cherry-chan?"
