Axel walks through the forest dully, "Forbidden? This can't seriously be forbidden. I haven't run into a single thing in this stupid forest other than squirrels and rabbits.. Stupid headmaster.." he mutters and shakes his head. He walks over to a tree and boredly light it aflame, watching as the fire tries to get to the next tree. He quickly quenches the flames with a simple close of his fist and walks over to the ashes, admiring the smell. "This is the greatest smell the was ever concocted.."

Footsteps weren't as quiet as they normally were, since, in a way, the woman was trying to draw attention. There was nothing dangerous in this forest, and if there was, she wanted to find it. Her long, black hair was actually hanging down for once, and wasn't hidden under a hat. However, she was still wearing men's clothing, just like always. The woman thought she heard a voice.... a familiar voice at that. An eyebrow raised, and her curiosity got the better of her. She walked toward it, and upon seeing Axel and the fire, winced inwardly. Her arm was still hurting from their last little meeting.

Of course. She had to stumble upon this guy again, of all the people in the academy. She would have rathered encountered Rayana, the vampire elder who the widow despised for her cruelty.

She shook her head, decided she might as well walk up to the male, though she didn't have the slightest idea way she was. "Talking to ourselves, are we now?" she asked, though it was more of a statement. "And burning trees? You could start a forest fire, you know. Tsk, tsk."

Axel glances at her, his arrogant smirk returning to his face, "When nobody else is around, who else is there to talk to?" He glances at her arm, the one he left burned, before returning his stare back to her, "I don't care if I start a forest fire anyways, all I've seen is a bunch of squirrels..and one of those little turds hit me with a nut.." His eyes narrow as he remembers it, "How's that arm of yours feeling?" he asks, a look of contempt on his face.

Cordelia ignored that smirk of his, though a smirk of her own came to her face when he asked who else there was to talk to when one was alone. "Well, you could always just stay silent," she said with a shrug. "Might be boring, but at least others won't think you're crazy." She noticed him look at her arm, but said nothing of this, nor made a move to show that she had even seen it.

She let out a somewhat amused laugh when he said one of the squirrels has thrown a nut at him. "Ha... you deserved it," she said, no longer laughing at him. Her smirk widened a bit and she shook her head, wishing that she had only witnessed a squirrel hit him with a nut.

"How's that arm of yours feeling?"

From the look on his face, the woman doubted he even cared. However, she supposed she could answer him. "My arm is fine, thank you very much," she said. "Although, I'm sure you don't care very much."

Axel shakes his, "Not at all..however you do realize you just ended two sentences in a row with 'very much'.." He chuckles and rises to his feet from the ground in front of the ash, brushing himself off. "Besides that, I lack any emotions whatsoever, and I kill people for a living..I'd imagine people already think I'm crazy. As for me deserving getting hit in the head with that nut..you're most likely right.." He rubs the back of his head, a smirk on his face, "Now then, what do I owe to the pleasure of your presence today?"

The widow shrugged her shoulders when he mentioned her ending a sentence with the same words, not caring at all, to be honest. She watched him as he stood up, supposing she agreed with that statement about people most likely already believing he was insane. "I don't think I can argue with that," she said. "It does make you seem insane." There was no point in arguing with truth, now was there?

"Now then, what do I owe to the pleasure of your presence today?"

"Eh, I don't really know," Cordelia said. "Haven't been to this place before, so I decided I might as well see if it was as forbidden as it was made out to be. And you're here because?" She already knew he had been burning trees, but she hoped that he had a more interesting reason for being here than that.

Axel just shrugs and glances back the way he came, "I suppose I came because I heard how terrifying it was from other students. I wanted to come and fight against whatever it was that was so powerful. Unfortunately, the most threatening thing I've come across is those blasted squirrels..stupid little turds." He finishes with his eyes narrowing.

Cordelia laughed again, again making fun of him. "Poor little boy," she said. "I'm surprised you didn't burn that little squirrel to ashes, honestly. If you could burn a vampire, why not a squirrel?" She shook her head, and looked around, sighing. It really wasn't that scary. Why had she even bothered coming here? Perhaps the dangerous things were farther in the forest... but she really didn't feel like walking at the moment.

"That headmistress is stupid. Someone needs to tell her that there is absolutely nothing dangerous here," she said, shaking her head again.

Painter sighs, "I would have killed that little bugger, but it dashed away in the trees before I could torch it...and yes..the headmistress is a moron..I do like this place though. It's dark ad tank, not much sunlight penetrating the canopy, it's awesome.." He glances around the forest again, the eerie darkness pressing on him like bees on honey. He began to feel a chill run up hi back and looks around quietly, "I don't know about you..but I just had a chill run down my spine..something doesn't seem quite..right.."

Cordelia wasn't surprised that he would have burnt the squirrel, but the back it got away before he could did somewhat. She didn't show it, though, and nodded in agreement when he said he liked the place. She liked dark places, not just because she was a vampire; she had always liked the dark.

"I don't know about you..but I just had a chill run down my spine..something doesn't seem quite..right.."

No chill had gone up her spine, but she did feel that something wasn't right. "Agreed," she said. She looked around, paying attention to everything, just in case. "Got any ideas on what doesn't seem, well, to quote you, 'not right'?"
