Allen pouted when he was knocked on the head. It was done playfully, but he was really only joking around as well. "Owie," he said, rubbing his head. "It's not very nice to hit people, you know."

He smirked slightly as she threw the rag at him and laughed. "Glad to be of entertainment," he said, bowing as best as he could in his current position on the bed. It wasn't entirely simple, but he managed to do it.

"I can't wait, Allen!"

The immortal grinned. "Goody!" he exclaimed. "So, when do you want to go?" Probably after this blasted war was over... but, who knew, maybe she would want to take a break from healing people and go out with him. Allen would have absolutely no problem taking a break from fighting... after one fights for their whole life, they kind of begin to see how pointless it is and how little they want it.

"One Lemongrass Mint soup."

He grinned and took the bowl, taking the spoon in hand and eating. After a few spoonfuls he smiled, feeling rather refreshed and healthier already. "You really are a good cook," he complimented. However, eyes blinked after a moment as a sad idea came to mind and he pouting, taking another spoonful before biting his lip. He had to ask.

"Enelya... is that poison going to make me unable to do a rock scream anymore?" he asked in quite a childish voice, though he seemed genuinely depressed. Allen loved doing rock screams... to be unable to do them again would break his heart. "I mean, the soup will make my lungs alllllll better, right? And I'll still be able to sing and scream and stuff? Right?"

He hoped so... life without rock screams was no life at all!

"It's not very nice to hit people, you know."

Enelya glared at him playfully, and stuck out her tongue. She let out a silly little laugh, and raised her eyebrow mischiviously. It was a silly, playful look, and Enelya was having fun. "It's not very nice to make faces at people's food either."

"So, when do you want to go?"

Hmmm... This was a rather hard question. She wanted to stay and help her peers, but no one seemed to be coming. Besides Allen of course, but other than that... She hadn't heard anything for anyone else. But what if she left, and thats when she was needed? Enelya bit her lip, and shrugged. "I'm not sure... No one seems to be needing my care." She winked. "Other than your goofy butt."

"You really are a good cook,"

Enelya beamed. If there was anything she was passionate about, it was cooking, painting, and helping others. She nodded and grinned. "Thank you. An old recipe." She waltzed back into the kitched and poured herself a bowl, and returned to Allen's beside, growing a bush chair for herself, while she shared the tree stump table with him. "I'm really glad you like it."

Allen's face started to drop as she saw him make a realization. Enelya titled her head slightly in confusion as he began to speak.

"I mean, the soup will make my lungs alllllll better, right? And I'll still be able to sing and scream and stuff? Right?"

He sounded like such a little kid at that moment, that Enelya couldn't help but have a huge grin on her face. She nodded excitedly, and laughed. "Of course. Just don't rush it. Let your lungs heal, and they'll be good as new. Maybe even better. Lemon and tomato do wonders, believe it or not." She looked down at her own soup before taking a few sips herself, enjoying the lucious flavors.

"It's not very nice to make faces at people's food either."

Allen snorted. "Well you said it was lemonGRASS," he reminded Enelya. "What was I supposed to do? I mean it has the word GRASS in it." He really could be so picky and such a child at times. He was twenty on the outside and seven-hundred-seven in literal terms... one would have thought all the child in him had disappeared after what he had been through. It apparently hadn't, though.

"I'm not sure... No one seems to be needing my care."

"Well then let's go!" he said. He was excited for it, what could he say? He wanted to teach her how to ride horsies and have that picnic. He hadn't had actual fun in hundreds of years, and to be honest, he was slightly afraid that if he didn't have fun now... he wouldn't have the chance to ever again. "If someone gets hurt, someone else can take care of it." So maybe that was a bit heartless and probably selfish... oh well.

"Other than your goofy butt."

He stuck his tongue out, eyes lighting up with glee. "I shall take that as a compliment," he told her. "It's not everyday you see an immortal with a sense of humor." Allen laughed silently to himself about that. It wasn't everyday one saw an immortal, let alone one with humor. Not a lot of people lived for eternity anymore...

"Of course. Just don't rush it. Let your lungs heal, and they'll be good as new. Maybe even better. Lemon and tomato do wonders, believe it or not."

Eyebrows raised and his eyes lit up even more as his lips curved into a wide grin. Even better than before?! If that was the case, then the world definitely needed to watch out! "My lungs had better get good as new fast, then!" he said, and quickly scarfed down a few large spoonfuls of the soup. If lemons and tomatoes were good for these kinds of things, then he would have them everyday if he could! "So how long will it take, exactly?"

"What was I supposed to do? I mean it has the word GRASS in it."

Enelya simply rolled her eyes. A typical guy response. She shook her head and remained silent, sipping at her soup quietly.

"If someone gets hurt, someone else can take care of it."

Enelya blushed, and laughed at his excitement, but she couldn't help but want to stay at the house and tend to anyone who needed her help. "I don't know Allen, what if someone came after I left? Then I would have abandonded them..." Enleya bit her lip with a expression of sincere worry. She wouldn't want to abandon someone in need...

"It's not everday you see an immortal with a sense of humor."

Enelya laughed, and shook her head. Nope, it sure wasn't, and Enelya was glad she met this 'not so everyday immortal.' He was actually quite fun after you got through all of his Tin Manish walls. "Well then I'm glad I found you Mr. Not so every Day Immortal Tin Man." Enelya grinned and took another bite of soup. Yummy.

"So how long will it take, exactly?"

Enelya smiled, he was definately cute when he was this excited. She shrugged, and decided to play with him. "Well... Iono..." She said with a casual shrug, finishing her soup. Though she couldn't help but giggle as he scarfed down the soup. "Are you sure you can even taste it?"

"I don't know Allen, what if someone came after I left? Then I would have abandonded them..."

That was true. Allen knew that Enelya had been abandoned herself, and he did as well. Maybe, in the end, it would be best for her to stay there. If someone was unable to receive medical treatment because she and him were out somewhere together, he was sure both of them would be extremely guilty. "Alright," he said. "You're right. Stay here and once this thing is over, we can do it."

"Well then I'm glad I found you Mr. Not so every Day Immortal Tin Man."

Enelya's statement made him smile. "And I'm glad I met you too, Miss Plant Lady," he said. He bit his lip after that, sighing. 'Plant Lady' wasn't as long as what she had called him. "... I'll think of more adjectives for that later." He smirked, going to blame his current lack of creativity on his health.

"Well... Iono..."

An eyebrow rose in disbelief to that. "Are you sure you don't know?" he questioned her. "You're the healer, you know." Allen could be impatient at times. It was both because of his Tin Man habits, and because he was excited. He wanted to hear what his rock scream would sound like when his lungs were all peachy again!!

"Are you sure you can even taste it?"

Allen's face reddened slightly and he stopped eating so quickly, clearing his throat with a nervous laugh. "I can taste it just fine," he said to her. "I just thought that the faster I ate the faster I'd get better." He scratched the back of his head and started eating a little slower... just a little slower, though.

"You're right. Stay here and once this thing is over, we can do it."

Enelya smiled softly. She knew he had wanted to just run away with her and forget the war. But she could not do something like that so selfishly. Perhaps no one would come to see here to be healed, but then at least she tried... Right?

"... I'll think of more adjectives for that later."

She laughed, and shrugged. It wasn't that big of a deal, but he seemed to think it was necessary to retort with an equally long title. It seemed to be a little game of theirs. "Perhaps I win the title game for now..." She said with a smirk, and an ending wink.

"You're the healer, you know."

A wide, broad, mischevious grin spread across Enelya face and she giggled a little. She shrugged again, finding a petty entertainment with his impatience. "These things take time Allen... It just depends on your lungs really..." She drew out her words, taking all the time in the world. "It could take three days to a week...So... Iono." She grinned and shrugged again.

"I just thought that the faster I ate the faster I'd get better."

Enelya shook her head slowly, and playfully glared at Allen like he was crazy. "No, I'm afraid not." She smiled, and looked off in a simple fashion, before looking back at him. "Actually... The more you savor it, the more time it has to course through your body at a normal pace..." Really she was just messing with him, but anything to make him stop horking down his food! He'd most likely choke. She took another bite or two of her soup before she decided she was finished with it.

"Perhaps I win the title game for now..."

Allen pouted when she said that with a smirk. "Well I'll beat you eventually," he said. "You bask in your victory now, Plant Lady, but I WILL strike back! And when I do..." The immortal left it there, giving her a smirk of his own. He had seven-hundred years of adjectives stored in his brain... he just had to make a list of them all and figure out which owns applied to Enelya. "I'll have to make sure you don't beat me at this game..." he grumbled. He liked challenges, what could he say?

"It could take three days to a week...So... Iono."

"Well that isn't a lot of time..." Allen said. It probably would be, though, since it would probably just be a week of laying in bed and waiting. The time would drag on after a while, but at least he had Enelya to keep him company. "You had better not leave me all alone in this frightening cabin while I'm resting." He smiled, having a lot of fun just playing around and teasing with her.

"Actually... The more you savor it, the more time it has to course through your body at a normal pace..."

Upon hearing this, he sighed and looked at his soup, which was almost gone by now. "Couldn't you have said that sooner?" he asked quietly before eating at a completely normal pace. It didn't take long for him to finish it off, and once done, he rested the bowl on the tree stump. "It was really very good," he told her, even though he had said it quite a few times before. Allen just felt the need to keep complimenting her on it. Eyes brightened again by a little bit as another adjective came to mind. "WOO! Another adjective! So far, you're Miss Cooking Plant Lady. But I'll come up with more!!"

Oh, he was good.

"You bask in your victory now, Plant Lady, but I WILL strike back! And when I do..."

Now it was Enelya's turn to be dramatic. She stood up and gasped, holding her face. "Oh noes! I'm shaking in my boots!" She looked down and frowned, staring at her bootless feet. "Even though I'm not wearing any boots." She sighed playfully and laughed.

"I'll have to make sure you don't beat me at this game..."

Enelya raised an eyebrow, and stuck out her tongue playfully. "You're on." Hah! I fun little game for them to constantly play. Pretty soon the list of ridiuclous adjectives would keep growing to where it was... Really long! Enelya laughed at the thought and was looking forward to the game. Definately.

"Well that isn't a lot of time..."

Enelya grinned, and shrugged. "You haven't even been in bed for a whole twenty-four hours and you're already fidgety. How do you think you're going to handle two, or three?" She laughed, and shook her head. Even for an immortal, being stuck in bed seemed endless and horrible. He probably did not need to be stuck in bed the whole time, but at least rest his voice for that long.

"You had better not leave me all alone in this frightening cabin while I'm resting."

Shaking her head lightly, Enelya crossed her arms, and raised an eybrow. "As your friend, and your nurse, I'm not allowed to do that." She thought for a moment, and giggled. "Besides, I don't think I'd be able to climb up on a horse by myself!"

"WOO! Another adjective! So far, you're Miss Cooking Plant Lady. But I'll come up with more!!"

She stood, picked up the two bowls, and laughed, going into the ktichen area. She washed them out and laughed a bit more. Miss Cooking Plant Lady. It was nice, but definately not as cool as Mr. Not every day Tin Man. Duh!

"Oh noes! I'm shaking in my boots!"

Allen smirked at how dramatic she was being. Things always wound up being fun when exaggeration was involved. "You'd better be!" he said to her. It would be fun to see how long their nicknames for each other wound up being in a few years... heck, maybe even weeks. Hopefully it wouldn't be so long that he couldn't even remember what it was... yikes.

"Even though I'm not wearing any boots."

He rolled his eyes playfully. "It's the thought that counts," said the immortal. As long as she was shaking in her boots, then tall way well.

"You're on."

"Oh, indeed," he said. "New official game!" Allen cracked his knuckles and laughed quietly. "You're going down, Enelya!"

"You haven't even been in bed for a whole twenty-four hours and you're already fidgety. How do you think you're going to handle two, or three?"

As soon as she mentioned that, Allen gulped. Three to seven days of laying in bed... doing nothing but that.... oh, no. He wouldn't last. "I'll... yeah, you're not, I'm not gonna make it." he offered a nervous smile, hoping he would at least be able to get up and go outside once in a while. "Oh well. I can go outside at least... hopefully some tree won't grab my ankle again." He probably shouldn't have brought that up again... but it had all been in good fun, so hopefully there wouldn't be any harm in it.

"As your friend, and your nurse, I'm not allowed to do that."

Allen smiled, comforted by that fact. If she left him there by his lonesome, he might go insane. "Good," he said. "I don't want you leaving me." Sure, he was used to being on his own... but the thought of being without Enelya terrified him.

"Besides, I don't think I'd be able to climb up on a horse by myself!"

The patient snorted. "Oh, come on. It's not THAT hard!" Allen told her, laughing. "All you have to do is put your foot in the stirrup, then pull yourself up and swing your other leg around and put your foot in the other stirrup. Really, not that hard." Of course, coming from a man who had been riding horses for pretty much his whole life, that probably wasn't much help.

"Oh, indeed," he said. "New official game!" Allen cracked his knuckles and laughed quietly. "You're going down, Enelya!"

At first, she made a face at the cracking of the knucles. But soon enough, she clapped her hands, and smiled. "I love games!" She was defiantely excited about this. Enelya thought she might have to go get some paper to play this game!

"Oh well. I can go outside at least... hopefully some tree won't grab my ankle again."

Enelya gave Allen a sly smile, and she leaned in next to him really close. "Depends if you are nice to the trees or not." She laughed, and ran back to the kitchen. Washing the dishes, she laughed, and took a drink of the water from the faucet.

"Good," he said. "I don't want you leaving me."

Peering into where the bed was Enelya gave him a little shrug. "Well no worries, it's against the friend and nurse code of law. Err, at least until the patient gets better anyways... But for friends you're pretty much stuck with me." Enelya gave him a big smile and winked.

"Oh, come on. It's not THAT hard!" Allen told her, laughing. "All you have to do is put your foot in the stirrup, then pull yourself up and swing your other leg around and put your foot in the other stirrup. Really, not that hard."

She listened to him go on and on, and just managed to stare at Allen blankly. If it was so easy, then, well, what was a stirrup? She mentally sighed, and raised an eyebrow. "Umm... What's a stirrup?"
