With a quick paced walk, Sidney was quietly making her way into the city. She had a duffel bag around two of her arms, but aside from that she was dressed in a jacket and some pants. The jacket was certainly worse for the wear, with a gaping hole cut into the back to let her wings out and what appeared to be two sleeves from another jacket haphazardly sewn on to make it a four armed jacket.

After someone had apparently caused a stir by vandalizing some important vampire place not long ago, Sidney had been on high alert. It would suck if they caught her in the act and she became a potential suspect. Of course, that wasn't going to stop her though.

Once she got to the outskirts of the city, she made her way around to the back of an old empty building that she'd had her eye on for a while. She made a square with two of her hands and took a look at her canvas for a moment, then dropped the duffel bag and got to work. She pulled four different bottles out, one for each hand, then fluttered up to the wall and started spraying.

Before long, she had a pretty impressive start to a picture of a cat sitting on a boom box. There was rarely any reason or deep meaning to what she did, it was always just the first thing that came to her in the few seconds where she made that square with her hands.

They had just been out dancing, Bel and some friends among them Samhain, her boyfriend. However, one of the girls had had a little too much to drink and Sam had had to accompany them to find a taxi back - leaving Bel and a friend alone and to their own devices.

Stepping outside the back entrance of the club to get some fresh air, Bel decided to take a short stroll before she went back inside to resume her evening with her friends.

However, as soon as she started walking Bel kept on walking until she came upon somebody doing graffiti on one of the walls of the empty buildings closeby.

Slowing her pace to the point that her steps were almost soundless, Bel cleared her throat as she stood there for several seconds unnoticed by the "artist".

"Interesting choice of medium," she said finally. "You do know doing graffiti is wrong, right?"

The second Bel spoke up, Sidney froze, dropping all four cans of spray paint before slowly turning around. Normally she was pretty good at catching people sneaking up on her, but she’d gotten too far into the zone with this last piece of artwork.

She turned around without picking the cans up, quickly trying to come up with a pretty sad lie. “Oh haha, I didn’t do this, I’m just here to cover it up, y’know? Make it look new again.” On the plus side, they weren’t a cop, though she had no idea how much Bel had seen.

Bel almost looked familiar too, she’d certainly seen her somewhere before.

"Uh-huh... So let me get this, at ..." here Bel pulled out her cell phone to check the time. "11:07 at night, you decided to be a good samaritan and paint over graffiti?" she remarked with a hint of sarcasm. It was obvious Bel did not believe their story.

"So why don't I see any of it covered up?" she asked, pointing out the obvious. "Your ... cat? It's like the only thing I see, except for that ..." she pointed to a faded graffiti on a crumbling wall that read, "Fuk RoSales".

Sidney looked both ways, trying to think of a better way to spin the story than what Bel had just proposed. But in the end she couldn’t think of anything, simply squinting her eyes and agreeing. “Yyesss...”

She then turned and looked back at her picture. “Well I haven’t started yet, cause I was trying to see exactly what type of paint they used so that I could know how I needed to cover it up...” Her eyes kept looking off to the side. “I’m afraid this cat doesn’t belong to me. Though I must admit that the actual artist has got some serious talent.”

"Did you now?" Bel commented as she eyed the young woman suspiciously. "That's funny, cause it really smells like spray paint back here... like something was painted really, really recently..." she said as she crossed her arms in front of her.

"And yes, it does seem the person has real talent, too bad they are not here though," Bel said as she stared at the girl pointedly, an idea starting to form in her mind.

Ah, it finally clicked. She’d seen this girl around school. She was a student.

But that aside, it was becoming fairly obvious now that Bel probably didn’t believe any of what she was saying. It was a hard sell to begin with, but there was no telling how much Bel had seen. And then the still drying paint on the wall behind them definitely didn’t help either...

“Alright, fine. I can take a hint, you got me.” Her strategy took a turn. If she couldn’t convince Bel that she hadn’t done the graffiti, then she’d have to convince her not to tell anyone. “But listen, I’ve seen you in the halls, I know you’re a student too, we gotta look out for each other, right?” Her tone actually got a touch more serious. “Someone vandalized a vampire society or something not long ago. If I get caught for this I could end up getting roped into that. It wouldn’t be good.” She actually hadn’t been following that event much in the slightest apart from when it first happened. For all she knew they could’ve caught the culprit. But regardless, she hoped Bel would sympathize with the predicament and keep her mouth shut.

Bel just shook her head at the new excuse. She had to admit the girl was bizarrely persistent though.

"First of all, the vampire society was vandalized by a group known as the Citizens Against Evil. Secondly, I doubt the police would arrest you. since I'm pretty sure you don't hate people that aren't fully human..." she stated, pointing out the obvious.

"And yes, I am a student. I'm head of the cheerleaders actually," Bel stated, deciding to name drop since she suspected it might, for some strange reason, hold weight with this person.

Well it was good to know that she probably wouldn't get accused of that other thing, although that meant her new argument had next to no weight behind it.

And head of the cheerleaders made the situation a little worse than it already was, seeing as how she was kinda planning to actually get involved with the cheerleading team.

“Look, the police have far more pressing things to deal with than this. How about you just forget about this ever happening? I mean look at this, it’s an improvement anyway.” Sid made a pouty face as she stood next to her boom box cat, her hands gesturing to look at it.

Bel took two tiny steps backward so she could inspect the drawing better... She had to admit it was good, really good... it had a fun vibe to it, something she had been looking ever since she threw her name into the student council race.

"Okay, I won't report you to the police on one condition - you have to help me with my campaign posters," she said very calmly. "I am running for president, and I need somebody who has talent and can draw well."
