Sidney kept colouring as she listened, giving the poster a light blow then putting a cap back on the marker she used and letting it dry.

"Not bad honestly. It has been a rough go around here lately, not that I really know what last year was like. With the Dark Crystal incident, I would've thought there would've been some sort of event or something to have students help show us around the island after how much it changed, but that never happened, we had to figure it out ourselves. Not that I would've gone anyway, but still..." She uncapped another marker and added a sun and a few firework effects all around.

The topics, while serious, didn't sound that way thanks to the goofy tone she used. "And then with the human shape charms going on the fritz, everyone who isn't rich or needs one to live is stuck being them self. I don't really have a problem with the new level of freaky around here, but I don't think everyone shares that opinion." She took the poster and held it up for Bel to see. "So I guess it might be kinda cool to believe in something better," She smirked and continued, "Although... how do I know you don't smell?"

Bel had to agree with Sidney. It kind of had been a bit of a mess. There was definitely more that could have been done when Dark Crystal was unfrozen and the students were slid back into academic life.

"I know, and I hope to bring that up too. I am hoping that we can establish a proper welcoming committee, maybe even a buddy-buddy system pairing new students with ones that have been here a while."

"Life has changed a lot in so little time, and I think that students have been overlooked to an extent," she confessed as she watched Sidney work.

When the smell comment was brought up again, Bel stated laughing. "Well, maybe I do smell... but delicious like ... vanilla and lilacs," she said with a smirk. "Or at least that's what my perfume says," she quipped.

Sidney’s antennae twitched. “But if we add that then it’s going to donk up the rhyme again. It’s gotta be catchy so you can get in their heads.” She shook her head.

“Anyway, I guess we probably need more posters, huh?” As easy as making one poster and leaving would have been, she kinda knew it wouldn’t be that easy. Besides, she was admittedly enjoying this.

“How about... Let’s build a more welcoming school-“ She squinted to come up with the next part just moments later. “Vote for Bel you fool.”

She grinned, quite content with that one. “And we could have like a picture of some different looking students holding hands and being all smiley.”

"I actually like that," Bel replied with a wide grin. "It also shows that I have a sense of humor - and care about the student body," she stated rather excitedly. She was really enjoying Sidney's sense of humor and ideas.

"I should make you my campaign manager, you know?" she told Sidney. "You got some great ideas there, and you actually know what's going on and the problems we are facing as a school," she explained.

“Ha, alright, coming right up.” She pulled out another piece of poster paper and started writing down what she’d suggested at the top. She was honestly surprised that Bel was okay with this one, it seemed she had more of a sense of humour than originally expected.

On normal circumstances, Sidney would never become a campaign manager for something like this. However, Bel managed to push all the right buttons, feeding her ego just enough bait to get her on board. “Yeah, I’m pretty much made of good ideas, I just can’t help it.” She shrugged and started drawing a human, werewolf, vampire, angel and demon all holding hands at the bottom.

"That's really great, thanks, Sidney. I appreciate all your help, " Bel remarked, glad that the moth girl seemed to be on board. "I have been looking for people to be part of my campaign. And you fit the bill perfectly, you can not only draw, but you are aware of what's going on too, and you are not afraid to speak your mind either."

"By the way, I love that... the vampires and werewolves together," Bel said with a smile as she watched Sidney draw. "Unity and tolerance together," she stated happily.

“I am pretty great, huh?” Sidney liked the praise. Praise was good. “I wouldn’t usually get more involved than this but, eh, I don’t have much else going on anyway.”

She smiled when Bel noticed her drawing. “Pretty clever, right? They’re gonna eat this right up.” She got to work colouring it in, before asking what was next.

“So, got any more important stuff we should posterize? Could do one or two about making life better for new students. A lot of people here have been a new student at some point, I’m sure they’d dig that.”

Bel thought about Sidney's suggestion and nodded. "Yeah, most definitely. We should probably have different posters with different slogans and ideas. We can keep things interesting and surprising," she mused.

"I also plan to get them reprinted so that you don't need to draw so many posters either," Bel told Sidney. "We could just do a few different posters and messages to shake things up."

Sidney thought about it. “Yeah, makes sense.” She started drawing a single fearful outsider and then an island with a bunch of welcoming looking faces.

Afterward, she continued bouncing ideas back and forth with Bel and drawing them out when needed. She actually enjoyed the whole process. It didn’t feel much like work at all.

Before long, they had a whole stack of posters. A mix of important messages and ideas as well as a touch of goofiness here and there.

There was already more than enough, but it seemed Sidney still wanted to keep going. “Alright, what’s next?”

"Mhm... Well, I was going to do some flyers to hand out too. Did you maybe want to design a few?" Bel suggested as she looked at the pile that Sidney had already drawn.

Bel was frankly amazed and extremely impressed by the moth girl's talent and just how fast she was at drawing and coming up with ideas. Un fact, Bel almost felt bad asking for her to do any more than she had already done for her.
