


"Thank you, Shay-shay." He said before returning to his position again. "It was really good." He closed his eyes again, but unlike before, he had a smile on his face. His breathing became slow and steady, and rather than becoming stiff, his tails calmly swayed. Maybe her being close by made him ease up. Maybe it was her advice. Maybe it was the food. Either way, something was different.


Soon after this, his body would relax, his tails returning to normal. It would be a few minutes after this before his eyes slowly opened. He would look around confused until he saw her. He would then wipe his wet cheek, and become even more confused.

"What happened?" It felt odd hearing her voice after such a long break of silence. It cut through the air like a knife or sword; it sounded wholly unnatural to her. "What does Mayumi mean? Did you get to talk to him?"
She had to stop herself from asking about a billion other questions. She had noticed one of his eyes had teared up. Was that to suggest Gin-Shi had controlled one-half of Kenta for the time? She didn't know.
