Jii perked her ears up a bit at the name of the game, and let out a small sigh, admittedly relieved she wasn't expected to play something right away. "Sure, I'm okay watching!" She tugged a chair over beside Marcus and clambered up onto it, looking at the screen with wide eyes. Suddenly realizing her rudeness, she waved over to Rosetta and smiled. "Hiya, by the way! My name's Jii!~" Peering back at the screen, she scratched her chin thoughtfully as her eyes scanned over it. "How do you remember so many characters?"

Rosetta just shrugged. "Any would do I think." Who could she play anyways? Might as well look through those characters first--whoa, that's a load of characters. Rosetta was clicking around and found the store and then the champions category. There was a lot of them. Didn't seem like she could buy any of them yet though. Hearing a new voice, Rosetta turned and could help but draw in a slow gasp, eyes dilating in interest. Was this a person?! She looked so cute! "I'm Rosetta!" she chirped up. "Nice to meet you, Jii. Um, if you don't mind me asking, what are you? I know this might be a rude question, but I'm just curious."

Marcus Warke
"Most could do the job. I think it depends on your playstyle." He generally prefered the ranged attackers, so he had a short list of characters that he used most often.

Her reaction to Jii was amusing, and Marcus stifled a laugh. Jii must seem like a plush toy or a chibi to Rosetta. Turning back to the screen, he took a look at the character rotation, to see what was playable at the moment, and what Rosetta might be interested in. "Hey, look, Tristana's available." He mumbled to himself distractedly, clicking on the character, not realizing the connection.

Leaving his screen, he turned to Rosetta. "If I remember correctly, Jii's a Pixan? Which basically to the rest of the world, she is Canadian."

Jii giggled as Rosetta introduced herself, then nodded when Marcus told her what her species was. "Hehe, don't worry about it! Barely any outsiders have ever heard of us, so that's totally understandable." She looked back to the screen, and Marcus seemed to have picked a character. ". . . . What..." Inching closer to the screen, she just stared with her mouth open, whoever this character was she looked identical to one of her own people, minus a giant cannon thing. "Who is this!? What is this!? Why are my people in this game, it makes no sense!" She was in absolute shock, just dumbfounded by this. This one in particular even looked a bit similar to her, though there were some definite differences. Her clothing wasn't all that unusual, either, though she was missing the navel piercing that every Pixan girl got at fourteen.

"A pixan? You wouldn't be somewhat related to pixies, would you?" There was a look of awe on Rosetta's face. Considering how her life before now revolved around taking down supernatural creatures, it was rare for her to not even come across that name before. That would either mean they hadn't been found out yet, which is a relief, or that someone was holding out. Rosetta looked at Marcus' screen to see what Jii was distressed about. "What's up? Oh... wow! That one looks like you!"

Marcus laughed. He'd thought the same thing when he first met Jii. She must get that a lot.

"What are you.. oh," Marcus commented, finally realizing the connection. He looked at the screen and back. They did look similar. "I guess the Kingdom wasn't as secret as you thought?" Either that or another Pixan had left before she did and became a model.

"So, uh," He started. "Do you want to play as Tristana?" It was sort of her species. The chairs were on wheels, so he just pushed himself to the side.

Still incredulous at the appearance of this character, she leaned even closer, scooting in front of the keyboard when given the chance. "I'm sorry, um...I knew you were going to play, but maybe if I do I'll be able to get to the bottom of this." As the game loaded, she stared even closer at the character portrait, taking note of each individual detail. "This is so...strange. No doubt, a real Pixan was the inspiration behind this character."

"Um, okay...how do I play?" She was a bit startled when her team's characters suddenly dropped in, but soon thereafter started clicking around to at least figure out how to move. "What's the goal? Like, what things do I need to most concentrate on, and where should I go?"

Rosetta looked on, noting the uncanny resemblance. Whoever made the game, or at least the character must either have a great imagination, or maybe they saw one of Jii's kind. Surely such a thing wouldn't be impossible for the latter, as most people, often similarly to how certain characters of a show or movie, would keep spectacular or supernatural things hidden from everyone else. This was definitely true for a number of instances that Rosetta's parents had experienced themselves, being credited for logging over two dozen species within the archive used by hunters. "Wouldn't searching around on the Internet be more... fruitful than playing the character?" she'd muse aloud. "Although, it could help in telling if it was definitely based on your species..."
