"zawameku kokoro no koe ni mimi o sumashi
"ittai nanno tame ni
umaretekita no ka..."
sou, toikaketa"

The softest tone imaginable fell from the lips of a boy sitting upon one of the tables set up in the Infirmary. His eyes were closed and his head was bent forward. An iv pole was close to his side. He knew well the magics of medicine this world had to offer but that wouldn't work for him as he didn't have an illness in that sense. The boy's face was drawn and all sharp angles and edges as it shouldn't be. He was pale with a blue tint to his skin and he was cold but those particular things could normally be over looked by the mere knowledge of his race.

He shifted small hands upon his thighs to slid over the knees of his pants, they were black and clung to his body but he wished that they didn't. He was small enough without having attention drawn to it. Malnutrition kept him from developing properly and nearly aspect of his person suffered from it. A steady diet of blood and regular food was quickly established for him once he passed out upon arriving at the Administration office. It was quite the terrible first impression and the only thing distracting his mind now was a bit of music running through his head.

The boy wasn't allowed many comforts in his time kept from the world but when he could manage it he indulged in music and he would copy what he heard until it was pure perfection to his own ears. As the situation called for some sort of comfort in whatever form he could manage Sekai began to sing to himself. His once rapid breathing smoothed to accompany the melodic tone the song took. The song was one of sadness but he found it bitter sweet and fitting to describe his life.

When the nurse returned with her clipboard she didn't speak right away but rather gripped the sides of the board and held it against her. The middle aged woman had never seen such a melancholy picture in all her life and while she couldn't understand the words the boy sung to himself she felt the emotion that filled them and it brought upon the urge to make sure he was alright. The IV had nearly emptied in to his body and he seemed better for it already, of this she was glad. Clearing her throat the woman tried to draw his attention because he was one of those jumpy children that came from a terrible past and it wouldn't do to give him a heart attack when she only just saved him.

It had been a long day and that was saying the least of it. He'd nearly been late more than once and then at last got entirely shut out of a class by accidentally causing too much of a scene. It wasn't his fault that someone had tried to bully the 'little brother' figure he'd taken under his wing. No matter the case it had ended at this point and left him with an intense headache and a few scratches to decorate his pale skin. His journey to the infirmary had started out smoothly right up until he walked into a door on the way. The door itself did little to him outside of aggravate his already throbbing head. Such a string of bad luck today if he didn't know any better he would have thought someone was playing tricks on him with this bad luck.

Pryderi was hardly your average man himself. His soft features were painted pale by his skin. Skin which held an almost other-worldly shimmer about it. The healthier he was the more the shimmer glistened over his skin. Right now it was faintly visible, particularly when a dot of blood would drip down his pale skin, only to be wiped off by the back of his hand. Or smeared upon the back of it in the attempt rather.

Bursting into the infirmary, he nearly started to loudly exclaim to the nurse of his need for a band aid, when he saw the woman tending to a rather fragile looking figure. So he moved over to the next bed to sit down and wait his turn. It was the singing that had made his sitting short lived and he found himself moving over to the privacy curtains to peek past them to stare at the person singing. "What language is that?" He'd chirp out suddenly with that wispy voice of his.

It was the voice of the pale being that finally drew him from his thoughts. They were like a physical blockade to his ocean waves causing him to have to acknowledge them. The ocean waves were simply the most calming thing he could think of because they could carry him away, even if it was only inside of his head, to another place when he was back home. Slowly his eyes drifted open and the colors were at war with themselves like they often were, blood red against the gold until one or the other took over completely. He didn't seem to hold a preference over the colors though, of course, they meant different things.

It seemed that he and the nurse were both startled by the other student's sudden appearance. Color rose immediately to his face, his eyes flitting up towards Pryderi, then towards the nurse who had an out stretched hand towards him and then quickly back down to his lap. "Gomen.." he spoke softly and hurriedly, "I didn't mean..I'm sorry to have to disturbed you.." He trailed off, his heart pounding within his chest. No one had had ever caught him singing before, let alone doing so in his native tongue. "It's Japanese.."

The bag of blood hooked to the IV pole began to scrunch up with the last of it's contents taken and the nurse sat her clip board aside. She seemed to snap back in to business mode quickly but she wasn't unkind when she spoke. Her attention was upon the task at hand of removing the IV from Sekai's arm but addressed Pryderi as she did so. "How can I help you young man?" The snap of rubber gloves could be heard after a sound hand washing. Gauze was pressed to the boy's arm as she removed to tube from it and pressed tape over the mesh to hold it in place. The small puncture would be healed in a small amount of time.

A purple hair female about the age of 16 came into the nurse station. She wanted to find her friend to see how he was doing and new most likely he was there getting his treatment. She was humming to herself some melody or another she really didn't know from where but she really didn't care. The fact that terrance had shown her around the school and the thought of maybe getting a job.... that what they called it she believed was all to exciting for her. She walked in and looked around Her light blue eyes caught sekai and another boy and she tilted her head in wondering who that boy was.

She let out a giggle and a smile her books held against her chest. "Thought I would find you here." she said to sekai and then she looked at the new male "Hi there, I am Blythe Solcas." she said smiling at him she then turned her attention back to sekai "Oh, I have someone I want you to met Sekai. He been showing me around the school and is really nice and he would be a good friend for us." she said smiling at him she knew he was a shy person so she tried to help him by helping him make friends as well.
