While Emilie hadn't just appeared she might as well have been following the same train of thought as him since she was equally lost in thought and then seemed to just be in front of him. She wasn't put off by it and simply rolled with it. Dropping to her knees in front of him the girl finally got the chance to grip at his shirt front, the collar as it were, and yank him forward. Holding him close offered him a better chance at poking her harder than he meant and she simply took in stride since she had endured much worse.

She was focused and silent as she knelt before him. He spoke those common words again but they held no meaning for her so she ignored them. Her grip tightened along the shirt that covered him until he was mere inches from her face. Lavender raked over his face looking for any imperfections or flaws. The only thing she saw was blood. It should be more startling than it was. The sticky, red substance was running everywhere, or so it seemed, and rather than being repulsed she was brought in. The female let her tongue dart out to lick a stripe up Abusa's cheek. Her lips smacked against the taste as she drew back just slightly and let it sink in.

As her hand grabbed his shirt collar his expression changed like the flip of a coin. His eyes emptied of care, he emotions vanished, and his attention honed. He didn't resist the pulling though, instead he just allowed himself to move closer and closer to her. As he came to be inches from her, for most their heart might speed up, but his slowed down. he examined the situation about as calmly as humanly possible.. if he was a human..

As she licked his face, his cheeks flushed for roughly half a second before he instantly countered without a second thought. he leaned forward as close as possible without touching her lips, and as soon as she took another breath, he released his air into her mouth. The idea behind it was strange, and would throw most off guard, or for a loop. This really did nothing, other than be unexpected, which is all he wanted, hell she just licked him, not like anything he could do would be much worse.

His breath.. would be sweet, like he had had a gummy in his mouth just prior... Before anything else could transpire, he'd hold his hand backwards and whisper, "Pull." Dragging himself backwards a foot or so he'd look at her and his expression would still be blank.

What?

He had spoke that word once before, not that she didn't want to give him a helping hand in putting distance between them. The fact that he had saved a puff of air to share between them wasn't as odd to her as the fact that it tasted of something sweet. Anything sweet utterly repulsed her for reasons she didn't even know. Perhaps it was that she wasn't raised with sweets readily available to her but it was really anyone's guess.

A hand flew against her mouth to cover it against any further assault despite the boy already being a foot or so away from her. She didn't move forward to pull him back but instead lifted her hand away and huffed out a breath attempting to make the taste go but it only lingered instead. There was a soft growl issued from deep within her but it only served to convey annoyance at the moment.

"Pull.." she mimicked his tone and the word he used once more with a tilt of her head. Nothing happened. She didn't budge an inch and he didn't move either. Apparently she did not possess this skill yet the simple word did wonders for him. What made him so special?! Emilie gazed upon his blank face and felt the familiar urge to slam it in to the ground.

Pondering on what was next, she didn't seem very happy with his actions.. What else could he do, to win what he saw as a game, when he should be seeing it as him staying alive..

Pointing at himself he'd speak a tad slower than usual.. "I am a friend.." Taking a deep breath he would continue as he pointed to her "Friend."

Reaching with the hand he was pointing with, into his pocket, opposite of the pocket with the stone, he'd pull out a box, yes, a box, of unopened chips, and slid it over to her. "Friends." Standing up, he'd brush the dust from him and reach down to grab his veil and replace it over his head. In case it wasn't clear earlier, it was now, he was a rather skinny man, and didn't pack a large set of muscles, he just looked like the average 16 year old kid. Walking past her he'd start to walk up the tower, he wanted to go back to the top, even if it meant the woman would toss him from it again. He wasn't weak this time, and would be fine.. Besides, he needed to be stronger.. and her throwing him from it, would only aid him in becoming so..

As he walked past her, he'd say the word again. "Friend.." Hoping that the word would stick, and maybe she'd repeat it like she did with pull, and FUCK. Which would have made him chuckle, if she hadn't triggered the switch in his mind earlier.

Emilie didn't shy away from him as he came forward but he was playing with fire getting so close to her. Her chin lifted to the boy as his hand moved in to his pocket to retrieve something. Her head jerked back instinctively but her eyes remained on him, curiosity winning that war rather effortlessly and thereby proving the age old adage of 'curiosity killed the cat.' The girl would have to be a few eggs short of a basket to follow him back in to the tower where he could gain revenge easily because she couldn't fly nor did she possess his abilities as they both knew.

Her brows pulled together as he leaned down in to her personal space and sat the box in front of her. This would be the first time someone had given her something that wasn't forgotten or thrown while fleeing in terror or annoyance. Emilie watched him form words and speak slowly, presumably for her benefit. He was taking the time and she did appreciate it, only she wished he wanted to speak her language instead. Releasing a huff of disappointment and leaning forward, she would say, "Friend." At the boy's back as it disappeared through the door way to the tower.

For several minutes she would simply sit and stare at the box and wonder what it contained and if it would be wise to open it or not. Deciding not, picking it up and scrambling after Abusa on bent knees and hands she brought it back to him not unlike a pet bringing a newspaper to it's owner. "Friend!" She called as she approached and the solitude of the tower from broken when her voice echoed through it and escaped from the openings at the top. Emilie dropped the box in front of him and knelt back down. She pointed to herself in a Tarzan and Jane fashion. "Emilie." She then pointed back to him, "Friend."

She repeated the word friend as he left, and he smiled under the veil. At least she wasn't running around yelling Fuck now.. that was a positive thing out of this encounter..

As he reached the top he'd sit down on the edge again, and stare off into the distance, as the land offered him no foul language, or pushing him off the edge of a tower into the earth below. The land offered a form of serenity that it didn't even know it had. Though, the silence would be quickly broken with the word friend echoing through the tower. Raising a brow he'd turn and as he turned there was the box.. This person had impeccable timing, or he was slow as shit today..

As she pointed at herself and said Emilie, he raised his brow again, and then she pointed at him and said Friend.. did she think his name was friend? She realy didn't know the language.. "No." He said flatly, and then pointed at her. "Emilie.." Then pointing at himself, "Abu.." Then pointing at himself, and her in a very quick motion he'd say "Friends." Sighing he'd look down at the box, and pick it up, opening the top, and pulling a salt n vinegar chip out and eating it, then tilting the box towards her. "Food."

Thinking back he tried to remember what she had said earlier before she pushed him off the ledge.. He knew it, but didn't know it, for saying it was a pain in the but.. But, he'd try.. "Uoy........ nac.... swoh... em?" His words came out very slowly.. but he figured the best way for her to learn, was if he showed some form of interest in trying to learn her thing, it would at least give her incentive to work on the common tongue more. "No idea what I said.." He chuckled as he drew another chip out. "Chips." he'd point to the box with his free hand. "Chips."

Emilie never paused to consider the beauty of the land. Such a thought never occurred to her. It was the people and their inventions that interested her but not their languages and not their customs. It was a silly thought though, trying to separate the two and have things attempt to work out. She had been trying and it just wasn't working. Had she known the terms which to explain she would have but, the girl wanted compromise. No one wanted to seem to try until this strange male that she had pushed off a ledge came in to her life. If he was trying to lull her in to a false sense of security he certainly was going about it in all the right ways. After all, how would he know that no one had tried to communicate with her on her own level?

Tear welled up in her eyes but they didn't escape yet nor did she know if they would. She had to take in what he was trying to convey in his own language while he was attempting to speak her's as it was only fair or her mind told her that at least. Lifting a hand she would gesture towards herself and say, "Emilie," with a firm nod and then motion towards him, laying a hand against his chest, "Abu?" She let her hand linger there a moment and listen to his words as well as his heart beat. His body was warm unlike her's and pleasant as the first contact she had with someone since arriving. "Friends.." The word she repeated yet still didn't have a firm grasp of and the way her tone tilted up when she said it sounded more like a question than a statement.

Her eyes lowered to the box he had given her. She watched him pick it up and open the top. Her brows shot up with complete interest in what was inside. She didn't know what to expect but when he pulled what looked like a piece of food out she was amazed and grabbed for the box. Grasping the side she would turn it sideways and then upside now so that the contents fell out of it. She shook it but nothing else came. Tapping on the bottom she was surprised when nothing else happened and then she turned it up right and poked the inside. "Chips!"

As she stated her name was Emilie, his head would tilt and examine her. Even her name was odd, though, if she didn't speak common, it should have been expected that she might not have the most common of names. Though it wasn't like his name was all that common.. He hadn't met anyone with a name like Abusakrada, it was long, and drawn out, almost to a point of it being cringeworthy.

When her hand reached out and rested on his chest, he didn't really know how to react. It was the most he had been touched before, and fell short of an answer on how to act. When he heard his name, he'd smile and nod. "Yes." The smile would quickly fade back to nothingness as his mind processed what all was happening, and he further thought about simply leaving, and letting them enjoy the spot.

it seemed that with him opening the box, she was less worried about it, and her interests were more peaked. Taking the box from his hand, his hand would close, and his eyes would watch her, very curious as to how she'd react. When she tipped it over and let all the chips fall to the hard surface they both sat upon, he'd chuckle though his expression was the same. Reaching down he'd pick one up, and eat it as she stated the word 'chip.'

His head would gently nod as his voice sounded again. "Yes, chips." A sigh quickly escaped him as he shook his head. Still, he was unsure on what was happening, or why, but it was, and that was really all he needed to understand, too bad he never saw it that way.

Emilie cast the box aside since it seemed to do nothing more than house the objects inside it. It didn't seem to refill itself and she had no need for it if it didn't. Her attention was raised to his face then and she watched him pick one of the odd little round, crispy things and pop it in to his mouth. Afterwards he calmly told her, 'chips.'

"Wtah si scspih?" Her own head tilted this time to match his. A free hand pushed the crisps around but didn't pick one up. They had a strange, sharp smell to them which wasn't all together unpleasant but held no interest for her at the moment. To be honest she was more concerned with Abusakrada's attempts at bridging the gap between them.

Her free hand remained pressed against his chest for a moment and then it lowered to tap claws against the stone floor of the tower. She wasn't sure what happened from here. He would be the first friend she acquired since arriving weeks ago if this went well but it didn't seem to matter to her either way, at least outwardly.

As the woman tossed the box he'd reach out as if to catch it though, he'd fail, and watch it skirt towards the edge, and to his luck, remain upon the floor. A sigh of relief would escape him as she spoke, and his head would tilt in the opposite direction, before frowning.

Her words escaped him, he didn't understand what she meant, and with his luck.. He'd go about explaining something that had nothing to do with his question. Continuing to bare the frown, he'd slowly shake his head. "Don't understand.." Picking up a chip, he'd eat it and smile for a second only to return to a frown. "Um.. Food...?" Eating another. he'd pick one up and hold it out to her.

When her hand left, and her nails tapped against the floor, he'd look at her, and then back at the chips. He was still at a lose on how exactly to feel about the situation, but, it wasn't like it was threatening his life, so he stayed put for now. Perhaps he could break this language barrier, or, perhaps, he'd simply smash his head against it for hours, or days on end, and get nothing out of it, not even a chance at a friend, if, they even had a chance of being such a thing. "Sorry.." His voice was soft, he didn't enjoy people, and he didn't enjoy not being able to communicate to them even more. He couldn't ask her to leave, or, ask if she wanted him to leave, and he couldn't ask if she even wanted to learn, or what language is was she was speaking. He was at a loss.. And there was no way to clear it up..
