Emilie Kiden

After watching the odd interaction between the girl and the little boy in the building Emilie escaped to the towers. It hadn't been her intention of course but, she set off to put distance between herself and the pleasant scene and this was just where she had ended up. She was without her platform,s having left them on the ground level in the bushes, so it made her steps quiet and slower as she was forced to walk upon two feet or try to.

The girl pressed her body against the stone wall of the tower stairs and used it for balance while taking each step at a slow pace. Up one step. Then two. Then three. Her eyes were focused downwards and her brows were pulled together as to convey her complete concentration. She didn't pay attention to wait laid ahead or behind because those things didn't matter. .

Relaxing at the top of the tower, his legs dangled over the edge as his eyes examined the land before him. His body still, aside from the legs that swayed back and forth in opposite fashion, and his eyes which darted around between each object that laid before him, and gave shape, and in some cases beauty or in others, some 'ugly' to the land. "Why am I even here again..?" his whisper was soft enough that the winds howl overtook the sound escaping from his lips.

Looking straight up, his eyes would make contact with the sun, which caused him to look down, and jerk his hands up to nudge his eyes, like it would assist him in the slight blindness that had just occurred from his actions. "At least it is quiet here.. People seem to not exist.." He didn't want to deal with people, if he didn't have to.

Covering the young man was a full set of black and dark gray. Everything was covered. He wore long pants, a hoodie, with the hood up, a pair of gray shoes, and a set of black gloves with the fingertips cut out for the last joint to be free. His face up to just below his eyes was covered by a gray veil that hugged his face, and moved with each breath he took. "Ready to be done already.." Sighing he'd close his eyes and relax again, he didn't know why, but it felt like it was going to be a long.. long day..

The wind was much heavier and faster up here. With the right amount of force she could have been easily swept off the edge and gone before anyone knew where she was but, with luck, the weather was fair and offered a pleasant breeze. The breeze could be felt very little down the stone steps of the tower but enjoyed more when reaching the top, almost like a prize for making it since, after all, Emilie did have closed in spaces. Subconsciously she was keeping count of the stairs and ignoring the words of the being up ahead of her. It wasn't until the breeze pushed the hair back from her face when it was lifted in to it that she even realized she had made it all the way to the top.

Once she had reached the top of the stairs the girl paused. Her first instinct was to crouch and crawl her way across the rest of the floor. The height hadn't been acknowledged nor did she seem to want to acknowledge it. A simple mode of transportation by means of her body had to be decided and she was frustrated as it were. There was something wrong with her to not be as the others in this place were, right? They seemed to think so and lately she had been questioning it herself. There was no one to point her in the 'correct' direction.

They just spewed their foreign words at her and pushed her away thinking she would get it on her own. Perhaps she should.
The white haired female leaned in on the tower wall at the top of the stairs. She did decide to crouch down because, who would know the difference? Except she was missing her shoes and that was likely odd. The figure with his legs dangling over the edge didn't even appear in her mind as of yet. Her mind was too full. "Shcu a wetsa fo temi here!" She muttered bitterly, her accent thick and in a language no one had yet to pick up on.

Opening his eyes again, he'd draw a purple stone from the inside of his pocket, and begin pushing and pulling it just in front of him. He lifted it no more than a few inched into the air before letting it fall down to his palm and lifting it up again. "What is my purpose.. I'm tired of just being here, doing nothing.." The words again would escape his lips as if nothing more than silence due to the wind. Taking his free hand to his waist, he'd grab for a blade he had become so familiar with, and yet, it wasn't there, it hadn't been there for a very very long time. The blade was second nature to him, not in the instinct of using it, but in the manner of it simply existing in its location. The weight of it not being there, the maneuvering and not having to worry about it not being there.. It.. It was far more troublesome to him, than it ever should have been.

As the stone rised and fell he'd raise a brow at what he thought was someone whispering, but he quickly brushed it off due to thinking no normal person would come up here on their own free will, and if they did, he'd probably leave in search of a new spot, and new piece of sanctuary that he could call 'home.' Letting another sigh escape him, he'd catch the stone in his palm, and squeeze it tighly, it was all he had left, and even then, it felt like he had nothing.. Was nothing.. Did.. nothing.. Existed.. for nothing..

"Death? Or life..?" He'd whisper again, "Does it really matter..?"

And that was it.
Just like that.

It wasn't the other's words that drew her attention, oh no. It was the movement out of the corner of her eye, the smooth, purple rock that moved soundlessly in the boy's grasp and yet not. Remaining in a crouching position the girl's torso would twist around just enough to eye up the being behind, or was he to the side of, her? Her head cocked sideways not unlike an owl and at such an unnatural angle. She wasn't normal but who was? At least she had to honor of saying she was an outcast among the designated 'freaks' of society. Not many could claim that title.

Lavender orbs sized up the male. He seemed quieter than Adder but was no less of a contrast in comparison to her. She did note the differences right away with one sweeping look of his dark form. He was wearing shoes unlike her and the wolf boy and his eyes, though she hadn't matched them just yet, weren't like his. He was definitely more relaxed but he had been alone before she made a sudden appearance. He was..talking to himself. Immediately her interest was piqued and she completely forgot to wallow in self pity because her one track mind was already moving on to something else.

"Uoy nac swoh em??" She asked rather excitedly. It was a wonder about the things she did remember.

As the voice sounded behind him, he jumped forward. So there was someone there.. He was slacking.. had it not been for the heavy wind, he would have known there were there from the start.

As he jumped, or more like.. leaned forward in a fast motion.. He quickly remembered he was on the edge of the tower as he started to fall.. "FUCK." The word would ring out, and it was the first one that was loud enough to actually be heard over the wind. As he fell, he free hand would point backwards, and his lips would quickly twist to the words he needed to be said quickly.. "Pull.." His motion would slowly stop and e'd very slowly move upwards back towards his spot until he was just above it to where he would end the ability and plop down hard right where he was originally.

Turning his head he'd look at the person with white hair, and purple eyes and tilt his head. "I.. I don't understand you.. Am I in your spot.." He'd motion that he would get up and leave if he was in her spot, or she didn't want him there. It was odd someone was here.. let alone two someones..

As the wind died down for what was literally only a split second, it was long enough for his aura to finally do the thing that he hated it doing.. her pain was no longer a mystery to him, it was more like an open book that if he desired enough to read, would almost jump out at him.. He didn't know her.. and even worse, he didn't understand her.. And now he felt like he was invading her privacy. "Sorry.." He'd apologize, and she wouldn't even know what for.. The face he wore was a sad one , though it wouldn't be seen due to the veil aside from the sadness in his yellow, almost golden eyes.. He didn't like what he did, but he didn't have much choice.. Though, this didn't make him feel any better about it.. "I'm sorry.."

He didn't answer but, had she really expected one when no one had understood her as of yet? Yes, yes she did. Perhaps she thought that with each person she met one might know her language and communicate with her before she was truly forced to learn the dreadful piece of drek that the common tongue was, just to speak to another. She hated the way their words sounded and had the urge to grab ahold of the male and slam his face against the closest hard surface. Setting her lips in to an annoyed thin line and narrowing her eyes in to slits she would reach out to grasp the boy's shirt front and was met with nothing as he fell forward and over the tower's ledge.

The girl scrambled forward on her hands and knees. The space was rather small and cramped as far as comfortable spaces went and so she was in his previous position when he returned to it. He was now in her lap and she reared up and shoved him forward. A part of her wanted to see if he could repeat that ability he had just flaunted without truly meaning to. She didn't possess such a power to her knowledge but it would surely come in handy if she did. He had been speaking that dreadful language that meant nothing to her and would mean nothing until she bothered to learn it.

It wasn't until he was already on his way out that one of his words actually sparked an interest in her. "Fuck!" She mimicked the word in his tone the way that he had said it. "Wtha dseo ti mnae?!" She looked over the ledge to watch and demand the meaning of it from him even as he fell, presumably, to his death lest he saved himself again.

As he landed in her lap his eyes widened "Hu..?" Before he could even finish the simple word he was over the edge again. As he fell he let out a sigh, and held his hand downwards. He had already used pull, so he was no longer able to use it for a short period of time, so he had to resort to another form of saving himself from injury.. "Push.." The word would ring in his ears, he hated using push, it was hard enough to get things to come to him, without him pushing it all away, and now, here he was, pushing the earth away.. Well, at least in his mind he was. In reality, he was just pushing himself away from the earth enough to keep himself from smacking into the ground too hard..

Sadly for him, he was already weak form using pull, and his fall was not weakened by too much. Retracting his arm to his body he'd hit the ground hard flat on his stomach. His face would smash into the dirt, and his head would loop backwards, and then forwards, and lay still for a moment.......

.... "Ouch.." He'd say before chuckling to himself as blood slowly ran from his nose. If only he was stronger, better, not such a waste of life, he would have gotten off scotch free.. pushing himself up to his knees he'd keep his body hunched over as he raised his hand and smashed it against the ground as hard as he could. Not angry at the woman, for he didn't associate it with it being her fault he fell again.. He was upset with himself for very good reason in his opinion.

He'd hear the word fuck boom down at him, and he'd tilt his head to look up. The veil that normally covered his face laid on the ground, which, was probably for the better, it kept the blood from getting on it. As he looked up, the blood would go from going straight down his face to now flowing across his cheek, before dripping slowly to the ground. "It's alright.." He'd call up before turning more so he'd sit on his ass and be look up at her, again the blood changed directions, and made his face look even worse. "Sorry.." He'd yell up again, taking blame for the situation. "I was in your spot.."

What had just happened?! She was so upset by this turn of events! He wasn't supposed to crash like a baby bird being spartan kicked from the nest by it's parents. He was supposed to do the same thing he did before. The only thing this proved was that he either couldn't use the same power twice or he got lucky the first time. It was soon to assume things and so she didn't but, now gazing upon his fallen form bleeding on the ground, she was greeted with two choices.

Option 1: Leave the scene of the crime and find another form of entertainment.

-Or-

Option 2: Go down to the bleeding boy and check the extent of his injuries. IF injuries were deemed fatal, wait for death and consume the remains.

The lurch of the girl's stomach seemed to call the shots of this decision and she pulled away from the ledge, carefully unlike the boy. It was rather odd of him to be seated so near it. As she crawled the short distance back to the wall to stand and shuffled back down the stairs she seemed to consider the possibility that he was flirting with death of purpose. It wasn't unusual. She had seen her fellow experiments crack under pressure and try to find a way out. The end result of that was not a path she wanted to take and found herself shuddering at the mere memory of it. There was only one road that was deemed worthy of her and that was to success. Failure was never an option. Failures ended up in a deep, dark pit and made to endure the most unspeakable of tortures in the pursuit of science.

For this reason Emilie pushed herself and her twin to their breaking points and beyond, if need be. Memories of her time spent among the lab rolled over each other, trying to grab her attention and hold on to it for as long as they could. It wasn't often she let her mind wonder back there and it was a wonder, why now, she was doing so. With the memories came the pain they caused both physically and mentally but mostly it came in the form of a loss. The girl's other half, her twin, had been separated from her and not a day went by when she didn't think of her.

Before she knew it, Emilie was crouching next to Abu and peering in to his eyes. She seemed to be studying him and silencing the voices in her head all at once.

His mind drifted as he raised his hand to his face and wiped some of the blood, smearing it across his face. He was horrible at the whole.. keep yourself intact and such. Looking at his hand he'd chuckle and lick his hand. The taste of blood was.... weird to him, he didn't like it, but he also didn't dislike it, it was.. just a taste to him, and so, he licked it to go away.. Or at least tried..

As the woman just.. appeared before him.. in reality she didn't but he wasn't paying attention, he'd look at her lost as she stared at him. Smiling the blood would run under his lip and drip into his teeth. He was defiantly not looking good today... As he stopped smiling he'd taste the blood again and frown. The taste was now getting annoying..

Looking at her she was still staring at him, so, he didn't really know what to do.. Reaching out, he'd poke her hard in the shoulder, not really meaning to, and he'd do his thing. "Hi." Frowning, he would retract his hand quickly, and go to sitting Indian style. He was literally horrible with people, and that's why he stayed away, plus, he disliked the pain he was getting from them, especially since hers was very different..
