Deith snickered, pulling away a little. But once Ardos dropped his hand, the mischievous demon immediately stuck out a bit of his tongue, adding in a smirk to it.

"I don't want them. They don't do it for anything but money."

It was honestly not his way of doing things, despite his activities.

"C'mon, Ardos, aren't you lonely too? Aren't you stiff? It's been a long stressful night. Let's do something fun."

Ardos snorted.

He pressed his palm against the cold glass, biting his lower lip. The radio behind the counter switched from a soft rock tune into the morning talk show segment. Good morning, Manta Carlos. The sun's going to rise in a few hours. Our top story: Local dog turns into a helicopter.

He really was terribly lonely.

"Right," he said, sighing. He took a sip of whiskey. For boldness and stupidity, he thought, before looking up at Deith. "On one condition: Wipe that smug grin off your stupid face."

How could he? How could he take off his grin after hearing Ardos finally agreeing to him?

But Deith found himself doing just that. Eyes wide, his lips slowly unstretched, leaving him with a genuine look of surprise as he stared onto Ardos' eyes.

He couldn't grin, but he smiled. While he usually had teasing smirks and grins on, he also had that genuine-looking soft smile that gave away what he looked like when he was acting innocent, with a loved one or someone he wanted.

Lei... He loves him very much, wanted him more than anything in the world, but while his heart was purely for the ocean fighter, his body needed constant touch from anyone. He needed to feed.

"You mean that, right?" His smile remained, and they remained genuine, as he leaned forward towards the drow, keeping their faces close. He wanted to kiss him right there and then, but Deith wasn't scandalous enough to do that in a silent place with few people.

He wanted to tease him. But if Ardos didn't like his grin, he probably wouldn't want more of that either. He might drive him away, when he wanted to drive him crazy instead, so he'll save it for later.

"Give the word and we'll leave this place."

"Yeah, geez. Stop fawning or I might change my mind."

That wasn't true.

Deith's smile looked sincere, and it made Ardos sick to his gut. He almost preferred the smirking. At least then he wouldn't have to keep correcting himself that Deith didn't fucking care about him. It wasn't like he cared about Deith either, anyway. He didn't mind him around, and some days he might even admit he kind of liked him. But in the end, he was just a pretty face to him. That's all.

(There was a prettier face he wanted, but he was a kinder, better person than he could ever be. He didn't deserve him, plain and simple.)

He downed the second round for good measure, slamming the glass on the table and reeling because of the sudden fire spreading in his body again. That should be enough. He wouldn't want a bad case of the whiskey dick.

"Pay the man and let's go."

"Oh, man, you're so..." Deith snickered. Despite his attempt to stop grinning and smirking, he really can't help it. After all, he was doing this mostly because Ardos was adorable as fuck.

"Alright, alright." He broke his stare, finally, bringing his drink to his lips to finish the last of it. Brought it down the counter, before getting his brown leather wallet from his jeans' front pocket and taking a few bills. He placed the money beside his empty cup and stood up, facing Ardos again for a moment, his usual smirk on once again. And then went for the exit.

Ardos gave him a sharp glare before he could even finish that sentence. He pushed himself off his seat, slinging his sword comfortably over his shoulders. He trailed a little behind Deith, arms crossed and posture stiff.

The sun was almost up. Well, fuck the sun.

"Right. My place is nearby, but like hell am I going to fuck you somewhere my sister can hear. Your place?"

Ohh yeah. Ardos wasn't being an irritating prick, which most likely meant things were gonna go well.

"If we do that though, it'll be a great show for her," he said, laughing. He was leading them to his car just a few feet away. He quickly unlocked it and went to the driver's seat, gesturing Ardos to come inside.

He wanted to do it right there, right then. He could already imagine how he can try making Ardos a complete bottom under him. But instead of pinning Ardos against his car, he took his keys and started the engine.

Five minutes' drive from there. Five minutes. He'll make it three.

He started driving. He was running on a hundred miles, and he was quickly heading back to his place near the forest where they could be all alone.

Ardos rolled his eyes and followed Deith inside the car. He had a mini heart attack when he realized they were going into the forest, not because of the dangers that lurk there, but because...

He didn't want Amphy to see him. He knew Amphy lived in the forest too. What was he even going to think? The dominant romantic side of him felt bad, like he was cheating, but the harsher, more realistic part told him outright that... Amphy wouldn't give a fuck. It wasn't like they were dating. It was the part of him that pushed him to this direction, while the other flooded him with unnecessary guilt.

When they got out of the car, Ardos walked bristly to the door, unconsciously making himself smaller with how he was slumping and hugging his chest.

"Inside. Now."

As soon as the door opens, Ardos was going to duck inside and stay out of the windows.

They walked to his comfy looking house and to his door, and Deith would shoot Ardos a curious and amused look before turning the key in his knob.

"Don't worry, I'm on it."

The door flung open, and Deith put his hand on Ardos' back, pushing him inside, though it seemed like he just threw him in, and then he followed, closing the door behind him.

Luckily for Ardos, it was Deith's habit to keep the windows closed and the curtains down whenever he was out. The lights were also out, but Deith passed by the light switches briefly, flicking it so he could see the paintings on his walls.

And then he immediately grabbed Ardos, pinning him against the wall beside the door and giving him a hot kiss.

Ardos snorted. He liked the dark room better than this fluorescent light bulb shit.

He anticipated the kiss and grabbed Deith by the front of his shirt, kissing him equally as hot and feverish. It only lasted for a good few seconds before he was pushing him away to the couch's direction. When they were near enough, he pushed Deith onto the plush surface and crawled on top of him, resuming the kiss.
