Character Image Rules
Last month we rolled out a new rule for what we accept as a face claim for characters. You can read the full changes here. The past month was an allowance time to allow everyone to get their claims and credits up to date with the new system. Now that February is rolling out, we'll be looking to make sure that everything is good. If you've missed something along the way, don't worry! We'll contact you.
Events and Holidays
We have the usual holidays for February, including Imbolc and Valentine's Day! We've also got a couple of active events taking place, two of which are listed below. Check here for more details
In Character Valentine's Letters
A Starlight Academy Tradition and well received event, the Valentine's Letters are back! Send your desired characters' letters, cards or gifts to our resident Mod Cupid this year, @PixelatedGlory, and on Valentine's Day you'll get to read all the love letters, from the sappy to the silly! You can read more about it here.
Year of the Gods
With the Winter Mystery coming to a climactic head soon, the delay in the normal proceedings for the Year of the Gods will continue this month. Be on the lookout for more celebration with the Twelve!

Inactivity Update
We have updated the information regarding inactivity on the forum. You can read all the information here. The changes include moving people to Inactive when they post that they're leaving the site as opposed to waiting for them to go one month without posting.
Calendar
You might have noticed an extra red number at the top of the site. We've swapped to a new calendar system that makes it easier to post events and the like in advance. This will make checking on what events are upcoming easier on you guys and posting/changing said events easier on us.
ICC Notice
In our logging of the ICC, we noticed that certain things break the logs. One of these things is the use of quotation marks within your text in the ICC. Please refrain from using these to denote speech in the ICC. Speech is already distinguished from action because actions are wrapped in asterisks (), hyphens (-), or other symbols.
