Octain sat in the Administrative wing. Sitting down in a chair reading a book. Allowing himself some time to sit down and actually have sometime to himself. Though. He remembered Rohan's words. His cousin. Younger cousin mind you who was teaching at this school now.

The family dinner left a lot more questions in his mind. Answered some, raised more.. Genesis had a handful with him and Lexi and felt semi bad for bringing her to the family dinner. He was content with the situation. No one seemed to have an issue with Octain and Genesis. That was special. Important to him. Something no one could ever take away.

He yawned for a moment as he rubbed his eyes through the slits of his mask. Making sure not to take it off unless around family. Even then. Most of the family that was by blood. Had never seen his face. Except for Lyndis. Though that was a long time ago. He then stood up from the chair, opening his spell book to put his reading material into a small portal as he covered his body and pulled up his hood, though most people knew him by the way he walked.

Talked.

And his attire. most students and teachers feared talking to him when he was on a mission to go somewhere. Then again. It could be something about him that was intimidating. Or the aura he let off. though he heard a door open to get into the admin wing and stopped for a moment to take a peek at who it was. Maybe someone he could talk to.

Who knows!?

A new faculty member arrived just few weeks ago, and honestly, he still wasn't used to the different places in the Academy. More so outside the campus. So he was fortunate that people were always willing to help him. His students were participative, and as of the moment, he really hasn't seen a problematic one yet.

Rohan was liking it here so far. But he made no attempt to make friends, not yet at least, because he couldn't afford to be distracted from the reason he came here in the first place.

It's been weeks, yet he still hasn't had the time to talk to the great Magistar, his uncle, Octain.

So when he entered the administration wing-- honestly he was just going to get a few papers there originally-- spotting his uncle gave him a spark of hope, a spark that immediately came out from his eyes. He smiled gently as a greeting, before approach the respectable man. He was currently wearing black slacks, and a white dress shirt with the uppermost button not closed, sleeves folded neatly. His leather shoes clacked against the floor.

"Nice seeing you here, Magistar," he said. He wasn't exactly prepared, but this was good, they finally have the chance to talk. Rohan can't let this slip away. "Are you perhaps busy?"

The sound of the leather shoes clopped on the floor and echoed through the halls. Two powerful wizards standing in front of each other. Both of them family to one another as Octain moves his cloak to hang on his back. His black dress shirt, pants and red tie hung off of him as Rohan greeted him.

"A pleasure Rohan. It is good to see you well. I hope the island and all it has to offer is not a steep change from whence you came. I do know your family comes from a rather rich community from what I can recall from my studies." He spoke. Though Rohan's question gave Octian a moments thought. Spending time with someone in his family he had never met with out Lyndis? This would be tricky. Lyndis was dealing with all the families on his behalf yet..

He was the Magistar. His job and duty was to the family first...

Maybe...

No. Octain could not delve into thoughts that would take his mantle away. Or anything like that. IT wasn't his place to take off the mantle and give to another. Unless he was voted out by the family. Then a new one would have to be in his place.

"Of course. I have a few hours before my next Magic Theory Class. Did you require my time Master Greer?" He spoke. His mind was curious on what his family member wanted.Professional or personal was the real question. "I would be honored to give you some of my time. Family comes first of course." He said nodding his head. "My time is yours."
