Rumor: The failure of Human Shape Charms is now reported to not be contained to the most recent batch. Early speculation connects the sudden failure of Human Shape Charms to the unexplained surge of magical energy the island has been experiencing. There are early reports of null bracelets and human size charms potentially being affected, although these are unconfirmed.
Who's Hearing It?: Most people, especially those with the charms themselves.

OOC Note: If you'd like one of your mass produced HSCs, null bracelets, or human size charms to be part of the failure, feel free! This doesn't need to be noted anywhere.

Rumor: As Charm Failure reaches an extreme level, three facts have begun to be firmly established. One: the failure seems to only affect charms which interfere with supernatural traits. Size charms, null bracelets, and shape charms have reportedly all been affected. Two: language charms, sex swap charms, and other charms which do not affect supernatural traits have no reported cases of failure. Three: custom charms that are designed to achieve the same effects but specially designed for individuals do not appear to have failed in the way mass produced ones have. The reason for this discrepancy is unclear.
Who's Hearing It?: Most people, especially those with the charms themselves.

OOC Note: All mass produced Human Shape Charms, Human Size Charms, and Null Bracelets have now failed. No, this will not be a permanent thing - expect an update in the next few days, but feel free to play out the chaos this causes.

Rumor: Midday, anyone with any sort of supernatural connection felt the magical equivalent of their ears popping. While previously people had reported strange boosts to their powers, that all returned to normal with one notable exception. Mind-altering auras appear to have had their effects significantly diminished.
Who's Hearing It?: Everyone's hearing it, but most people will have felt it.

Rumour: Users of a common illegal magic drug, Spirit Mint, have supposedly been experiencing side effects they didn't previously receive. The hospital has been filling up with people suffering intense hallucinations and anxiety long after the drug normally wears off.

Who's hearing it: People at the hospital are seeing it firsthand.

Rumor: Around 1PM, a transparent old schooner sailed right into Manta Carlos's main port, in full view of everyone working there. The ship pulled in to dock and then vanished completely.

A few reported seeing figures on the deck, and at least one man insists he heard a woman yell 'you got the wrong place!' before the ship vanished.

Who's Hearing It?: Anyone in or around the port, or who knows someone who works there.

Rumor: Plenty of rumors have spread about what's happening of varying levels of trustworthiness. In no particular order: The island is now in an alien zoo, and people have seen things staring back at them from the sky. The moon is a projection. Leaving the island is impossible. You actually die if you try and leave the island. Something strange is hiding deep in the forbidden forest. The whole thing has been engineered by an evil alicorn.
Who's Hearing It?: Most people, to varying degrees. Most people are speculating or investigating to some degree.

Rumor: On the night of November 3, a comatose college girl had suddenly disappeared from a hospital room. A black sphere appeared around her and took everything else that was inside it. The doctor, nurse, and three friends of the missing girl who were in the room when it happened described the sphere as similar to either a pocket dimension or a black hole. The girl's cousin who was also there at the time suffered injuries in his chest, his 2 hearts were unharmed, however his lungs suffered damage from crystalline shrapnel and had to be taken to surgery as most magical alternatives were ineffective. The doctor who was overseeing the missing girl claims that her comatose state was brought upon by the Veil's recent actions, and that her cousin had been suffering from the same symptoms she expressed when she was brought in.
Who's Hearing It?: Everyone who was at or near the hospital when it happened, students at the school.
