Type of Crime: Vandalism

Reporter: Multiple people called in what they saw and described as "a fountain of blood".

What Actually Happened: In the early morning a fountain located downtown started to act abnormally and started to produce more water than usual causing it to overflow. The water also turned a dark red which caused people who passed by to believe the fountain was spewing blood. City officials have tentatively linked the strange behavior to the recent surge of magic being experienced by the island, while MCPD are searching for an unidentified figure who was caught on camera dumping red dye into the fountain.

Type of Crime: Breaking and Entering
Reporter: Malara Tor
What Actually Happened: Someone broke into the top floor bedroom of Malara's penthouse and went through her lingerie drawer. Fingerprints pulled at the scene are inconclusive and nothing seems to have actually been taken.
