Azeria was looking over a particularly long file, god she hated this place. She would rather be in surgery weaving life into people. Her fingers itched to be on a patient but this was just the first step. Turning the corner she walked into the private room and closed the door behind her. Taking a moment to even go so far as to closing the blinds.

Standing at approximately 5'11".. Three inches thanks to her black heels. She looked like someone ordered Lochlann a stripper gram for get well than she being an actual doctor.. Hell she looked barely older than him. She wore a black pencil skirt and a white blouse that was barely kept closed with one brave little button between her breasts and a free show. Over which was a long white doctor jacket and a stethoscope hanging from her neck.

"Nineteen year old male. Kelpie. Admitted yesterday for overdose. So.. Mr..... Mr. Cabyll-Ushtey, Looks like you were having a bit of a party. Take too much or did you try to hurt yourself?"

Her voice was firm and she looked at him in a no nonsense fashion. On her nose were a pair of black rim glasses and as she turned he could see a pair of very large feathered wings folded tightly on her back. As she stood there looking at him he could see small beads of sweat on her brow and her hands shaking slightly. A mild look of irritation on her features as she rubbed one of her temples before looking back at the chart.

All Lochlann had been trying to do was sleep.

That's what he'd been trying to do when he took the pills and what he'd been trying to do since he got here, but it was impossible.

He had his stomach pumped during the night, been on a steady drip of god knows what in the stupid nasty IV's they had lodged into his hand and elbow, and every few minutes someone checked on him to make sure he wasn't trying to kill himself again.

At least they'd untied him. He'd tried to bite someone earlier, but he supposed now they knew how exhausted he was. Another doctor came in and shut the blinds and the drawer and Lochlann blinked up at her sleepily. It took everything he had to keep his eyes up at her face and not on her tits.

"Seventeen year old male. Kelpie. Admitted yesterday for overdose. So.. Mr..... Mr. Cabyll-Ushtey, Looks like you were having a bit of a party. Take too much or did you try to hurt yourself?"

"Neither," Lochlann said. His voice was hoarse. "I didn't overdose, I'm not trying to kill myself, I'm not trying to do anything except get some god damn sleep."

He was bitter from saying the same thing over and over again. He hadn't overdosed because only addicts could overdose, and Lochlann wasn't an addict. It also irritated him that she'd just come right out and said Kelpie, even though he knew the hospital knew. This wasn't his first time here.

She looked irritated, though, and maybe he was just tired, but he thought he caught a slight shaking of her hands.

"What are you here for?"
he asked, suspiciously. No way was she going to stick a needle in him, no matter how nice her tits were.

"I'm a new doctor here."

She spoke at first but set his file down after having read enough and tucked her hands under arms as she walked over to him. Looking him over she pulled out a small pen flashlight and without saying held one eye open at a time as she waved it before his eyes to test their reaction..

It would be then that he could see that her hands were indeed shaking and her eyes.. They were dilated slightly and there was an irritated tick in her jaw that started only as she had the light on.. It was almost as if it bothered her eyes.

"The amount of horse tranquilizers and sleeping aids paired with the alcohol in your blood stream was nearly enough to kill you. If it wasn't for you getting here it would of happened. I'm here doing a more in depth exam. Noninvasive. If might add."

She knew that he was staring at her breasts and while she didn't care it irritated her a bit.. God everything was getting on her nerves. As she sat down she began shaking one of her legs vigorously as she took a deep breath in and let it out slowly.

"Mr.Cabyll-Ushtey. You have come in here more than once. Now. You can talk to me about why you took so much just to get sleep or we can sit here until I feel like clocking out at the end of my shift."

Unable to take it anymore Azeria fished into her pocket and pulled out a pill bottle. The contents of the bottle appeared to be crystal-like shards of pink white glass, which she placed a piece the size of a breath mint onto her tongue. Loch would witness that the piece dissolved almost the instant that it touched. After of which the bottle went back into her pocket out of sight once more.

Instantly her shaking stopped and she looked a lot calmer.. Then, when she opened her eyes again.. They were glassed over.

"I'm a new doctor here."

"Great, okay, that explains it--there was a mistake. You can just leave and go find the right victim you're supposed to be torturing. I'm not even supposed to be here," Lochlann said. He was still convinced nothing had happened, even though he couldn't remember anything from yesterday. Still, a small part of him was grateful to not have Aiden Hart as his doctor again.

Then she was shining a flashlight in his eyes. His pupil didn't contract at all, and the light just burned him. He tried to turn his head away and get out of her grasp, but at least it seemed like it irritated her just as badly.

There was something about her mannerisms that Lochlann recognized. She looked like how he felt before he had a drink in the mornings. He felt a moments sympathy or kinship for her, but it quickly disappeared when he remembered what she was. Fucking doctors. Even if she did have great tits.

"The amount of horse tranquilizers and sleeping aids paired with the alcohol in your blood stream was nearly enough to kill you. If it wasn't for you getting here it would of happened. I'm here doing a more in depth exam. Noninvasive. If might add."

"Could you maybe not?" Lochlann asked. In depth exam scared him, even if noninvasive was sort of a relief. Aftering being forced to stay awake while they pumped his stomach, Lochlann was about done with everything. He was raw, hurting, scared, and tired, and the only thing he could do was lash out to try and protect himself.

"That's impossible anyway," Lochlann said, crossing his arms and trying to make his body as small and far away from her as possible "I've taken more--"

He stopped both because he was afraid of incriminating himself, and because she just took something. At first, he thought it was a mint, but it dissolved the second it touched her tongue and the shaking stopped. Her eyes had that relaxed look that Lochlann was having trouble finding at the bottom of the bottle.

He was intrigued.

"Mr.Cabyll-Ushtey. You have come in here more than once. Now. You can talk to me about why you took so much just to get sleep or we can sit here until I feel like clocking out at the end of my shift."

"I just want to sleep," Lochlann said. His voice was almost pleading. "That's a great idea--why don't you go sit somewhere that isn't here until your shift is over?"

His breath was coming in short, hard bursts, and it was taking a lot of energy to stay this tense. His heart was starting to pound, but it was erratic, still messed up from last night. His chest hurt. He felt like he was going to pass out...again.

"Please just leave me alone," his voice was desperate. He wanted to get out of here. He resented the bright red bracelet on his arm that didn't say fall risk, but flight risk. The second she left he was trying the window again. He had to get out.

"Great, okay, that explains it--there was a mistake. You can just leave and go find the right victim you're supposed to be torturing. I'm not even supposed to be here,"

"Actually, I asked for your case specifically. The doctor that was originally taking it was a Dr. Aiden I can always give it back to him. He was practically frothing at the mouth when he found your file was switched with some guys with some bad gout."

Azeria stated with a not too cocky grin as she spoke. When asked if she could not do the exam she shook her head.

"Sorry Kiddo. If I skip out on it this one then I have to prick you a few times and get you into all kinds of machines and if there is more to what I found then you're going to be here longer."

Moving she sat down on a small stool next to his bed, allowing her to be eye level with him for the first time. Pausing she put her hands to her knees and took in several deep breaths before putting her stethoscope on and listening to her right lung.

Reaching into her pocket she pulled out a large syringe and removed her stethoscope. With a flick of her wrist her shirt was open and the syringe was in her right side with her breath held she began pulling on the syringe and what came out was a clear fluid. Pulling it out she stood and stuck it into the sharps container.

"Sorry bout that. I only have one lung and at times I have to drain the white blood cells from the opposite lung. It helps from time to time to keep me breathing."

Turning she looked at Loch as she buttoned her shirt again and then tucked it in. At hearing him say that he's taken more before she quirked a brow. So, a history of substance abuse. Reaching out she pulled out a few strands of his hair and turned on her heel.. Walking out without even a 'Dont try anything while Im gone'.

So. Take this sample to the lab then food.. The kid might want something to eat... She thought gently as she mentally chuckled. Azeria was actually younger than he was but some falsified documents later she was legally older than him.

"Actually, I asked for your case specifically. The doctor that was originally taking it was a Dr. Aiden I can always give it back to him. He was practically frothing at the mouth when he found your file was switched with some guys with some bad gout."

Lochlann's eyes widened at the mention of Aiden Hart and a slight shake of his head betrayed his anxiety at the situation. He'd collapsed back into the bed, scratching at his inner elbow in an attempt to 'accidentally' knock the IV out. again.

"Sorry Kiddo. If I skip out on it this one then I have to prick you a few times and get you into all kinds of machines and if there is more to what I found then you're going to be here longer."

"We can do none of that, and you can just let me go home," Lochlann asked, trying to keep his voice level. More to what she found? Nuh uh. They weren't going to find anything. nothing was missing. As soon as he could he wanted to be home.

She sat down on the stool next to him and pulled out a giant needle. Lochlann was pressed to the far end of his bed, as distant as he could get from her. When she popped open her shirt, his eyes widened, but he quickly looked away to try and give her some privacy when he realized she was doing....something. It looked like it hurt.

"Sorry bout that. I only have one lung and at times I have to drain the white blood cells from the opposite lung. It helps from time to time to keep me breathing."

"Oh," Lochlann said. And then he wasn't sure what else to say, so he said, "I'm sorry."

Maybe he'd guessed wrong about her, then. She wasn't shaking anymore, but then again.....

She pulled a few strands of his hair out and he flinched, killing his train of thought. That was some passive-aggressive elementary school bullshit.

When she was gone, the first thing that Lochlann did was get out of bed. He was very unsteady and he fell at least twice, but he managed to get himself to the window, dragging the mess of IV poles and whatever else was hooked up with him to the window. It was sealed. Fuck. He should have known. He knocked on the glass.

Whatever. He could do this.

Lochlann took a deep breath, tried to run, and then slammed into the window.

When Azeria would return, Lochlann would be passed out on the floor.

Azeria took her time getting back to the room. It was one thing that she was waiting for test results. It was another to get a pair of dry Reuben sandwiches with chips and pickles on the side.. And a pair of drinks. Walking back to the room she motioned for the meat head that was stationed outside of the room. Her clinic room. To ensure her patient would not escape. It was much but it was what she needed to do.

Stepping in and once she spot Loch on the floor she reached into her pocket and injected him with valume. She then called some of the male nurses in to lay him back out before telling them promptly to get out. This was her patient. This was her room. This was her rule. The only one higher than her was the dean of medicine for the hospital. Why? Because Azeria was unique.

Taking a moment she fastened the cuffs on Lochs ankles and his wrists and this time.. Moved his IV into a better location so he couldn't 'Accidentally' tear it out. Then it was 2cc of her favorite 'Time to wake up drug.'

"Nice to see you awake and waiting for me to come back Mr. Loch. These are the rest results from the hair follicle sample I took from you previously. It shows here that you've been abusing drugs for nearly a year now. Care to tell me about it or do you want to spend all your time here?"

Right before him was sitting his Reuben and chips with a drink and from the looks of it she was eating a dry Reuben while watching him closely.

Lochlann woke up in hell.

The moments of unconsciousness had not been blissful or restless. He still felt raw and chewed out. His veins had felt like something alive had chewed their way through him. He hurt. He was running hot and his mouth was dry. He was convinced that, if he could sleep through this, he'd feel better.

Lochlann had no idea how detoxing worked.

He blinked his eyes and saw Dr. BigTitts-LittleButton sitting across from him. She was saying words at him, and he blinked slowly.

"Nice to see you awake and waiting for me to come back Mr. Loch. These are the rest results from the hair follicle sample I took from you previously. It shows here that you've been abusing drugs for nearly a year now. Care to tell me about it or do you want to spend all your time here?"

There was a sandwich, and she was eating one, and she was asking him questions about drugs, and his hair? or something.

He couldn't focus because he couldn't move. His hands and ankles were bound. No.
no.
No
.no
no trapped
trapped
trapped

"Fuck," was all he managed, along with several minutes of desperate attempts at writhing, but he couldn't. get. out.

"Please," he panted. "Please stop."

He tried to think of her question, hoping that desperate line would get him out of this mess.

"I'm not abusing drugs."

He wasn't abusing them, that was absurd. Addicts abused drugs.

There was a jolt on one of the meters his heart rate. Son of a bitch. Taking a moment to push the sandwich out of reach she was not in the mood for this not in the for this shit at all.. She was already starting to shake again. Shoving her problems with addiction at the back of her head she looked around quickly before pulling out the bottle from her pocket.

Popping it open she pulled out two shards the size of a breath mints . One went into her mouth and the other she reached out and pinched his nose and waited. The moment that he opened his mouth to breath she shoved the shard into his mouth.

The moment that the substance touched his tongue it dissolved instantly. Calm. Break neck sudden calm would spread through Lochlanns body. Everything was ok. Everything was going to be ok. The binding on his wrists weren't an issue. Where he was.. It was almost as if the substance made everything borderline euphoric and sublime. The negative emotions were all shut off and sent bye bye.

It was clear to see why she was popping it. It was a million times better than anything. The plain white walls were now suddenly more beautiful, almost intricate.

"Lochlann? Hey.. Come on. Relax with me."

Lochlann was getting ready to either pass out or...he wasn't sure. He was thinking. He was just trying to figure out how to get out when she pinched his nose. His body had enough of being deprived of oxygen in the last few hours and he gasped instantly, and then something was in his mouth.

He wanted to spit it out but he couldn't, and then he didn't want to do anything.

A wave of calm shot through him like a bullet. He remained tensed out of sheer stubbornness, but his body couldn't take much longer.

"Lochlann? Hey.. Come on. Relax with me."

He made a small whimper of protest and then he broke.

His body crumpled into the mattress and for the first time in what felt like weeks, Lochlann felt really, really good. He couldn't even remember what he felt bad about. He couldn't remember why he was so afraid of being here. He kind of wanted to sleep.

All he managed to say was a very hoarse, "Oh."
