Wei was the kind of monkey that couldn't stand certain rules. Like, the rule that in the cafeteria they stopped serving breakfast after 11 am. What if he'd just woken up at noon? Did that mean that he had to walk into the cafeteria and eat lunch for breakfast? How unsightly. Nothing was nastier than just waking up and having to eat celery for your first meal of the day because they'd put away all the waffles for the day.

Seeing that Morgan hadn't taken his comment about her being a stickler for rules as something offensive, Wei let himself smile too. Being able to make people laugh probably wasn't something that was required to be the secretary, but making people laugh was always a good skill, wasn't it.

"Yeah, I guess that makes sense." He turned to another earlier page. "Do you think he'll test us on the names of the Arts we went over in class?"

Breakfast, why was Morgan suddenly thinking of breakfast? Morgan lived her life on a very specific schedule, she woke up at around 7, 7:30, got herself cleaned and dressed, prepared her school bag with all her notebooks as well as two bottles of water, she said goodbye for the day to her darling Naoki, and then she had either a plain bagel with milk, or a strawberry smoothie.

Morgan gave Wei a nod "I think its a fair assumption that Magistar Octain will quiz us, so itd probably be a good idea to go over those.". She flipped open her notebook. "Lets start with Thaumaturgy, simple enough, its the magic of the four elements, Fire, wind, water, and earth."

Wei gave a nod. He'd remembered Thaumaturgy, that had been what Morgan had been responsible for answering. "Then Phasmaturgy, the art of dealing with ghosts and ghost magic."

To be totally honest, the little monkey was still low-key pissed that he'd gotten that question wrong. True, he hadn't really known the answer to begin with, but for god's sake, it's not like He'd been that far off. Couldn't he have gotten like, a half check or something?

"Alright, next is Chronoturgy, which is the art of time magic. Magistar Octain added that this is a very unpredictable kind of magic." Morgan thought about different examples of how time magic could be unpredictable. She thought of a few movies were time travel had caused some massive problem that the characters had to overcome, though she wasn't sure if such a thing happened in real life.

To be honest, Wei wouldn't have billed Chronoturgy to be the most unpredictable of magics. It seemed pretty straightforward honestly. Though, he supposed he could see situations where someone who didn't understand how to use their powers would cause problems and rifts in space-time, which would be dangerous for everyone involved.

"There's also Oculaturgy, the study of illusions and stuff like that."

Morgan put her hands together and gave a nice smile and spoke "And thats the four of them. What exactly should we go over next? I cant really think of anything." Morgan wasnt sure what else Wei was struggling with, so she waited for him to respond.

When Morgan proclaimed that to be all four manners of magic Professor Octain had gone over in class, the monkey boy found himself flipping through his notes frantically. He was certain that there was something else that Octain had said about the arts of magic. He'd gotten the feeling that it was important.

"Oh!" He exclaimed, finding the information he'd been looking for written in cramped letters between two unrelated drawings that took up the bottom half of his page. "What about Hematurgy? He mentioned that in class too."

Oh god! Morgan had completely missed Hematurgy. "I apologize for missing that one! I must have skimmed right past it. Lets see..." she flipped back to the right page in her notebook and read what she had about Hematurgy

"Hematurgy is the use of healing and blood magic, it uses your own life force to make spells even more powerful."

The little monkey boy couldn't help but laugh when Morgan apologized for missing one of the Arts of Magic. Even if it showed up on the quiz he was sure they would both be alright they seemed to both understand the concept of the Laws of Magic that Professor Octain talked about AND they both knew enough about the arts that they would probably be able to pass his tests without much problem.

"Don't worry about it." he said, turning to another page. They hadn't gone over too much in class, so they didn't have a ton of things to study quite yet. Still, the monkey couldn't help but find himself impotently frustrated at his inability to be anything other than average for the class.

Of course, Wei was of an average intelligence, so maybe that was to be expected.

Despite Wei telling her not to worry about it, Morgan was still a bit ashamed she had missed something, but she tried not to be so bothered by it.

"So was there anything else in particular you were having trouble with? Id be more than happy to assist." Morgan looked at her notes again "Oh I could copy all of my notes and give them to you, that may help out." Morgan took quite a few notes, so having a copy of them could be fairly helpful.
