Train, mostly. As the sole heir to my family, I have a duty to master the martial art which I have inherited from my ancestors... And so far, I have only learned one form out of four, so I still have a long way to go.
Hasuka was starting to feel embarrassed by the boy's questions, and was struggling to keep the conversation going.
Honestly, I am justglad to get a chance to learn more about the outside world: back in my village, I sacrificed even the most basic education on the things of this world, in favor of both physical and spiritual training to one day take over the role of protector of the shrine... And well, now that the village and the shrine are both lost, I sometimes wonder if it has all been a waste of time: fifteen years of my life were dedicated to acquiring one single skill, which is now completely useless! So yeah, a school like this, with people and subjects and didactic materials from all around the world, is a chance to make up for the lost time. That is all there is to it, as far as I'm concerned.
As for me, I'm just tagging along. I don't exactly have much of a choice, you know.
