Cabel Sokot was planning something big.

Parties were good for a lot of things--celebrating, drinking, meeting new clients. But you didn't just throw an epic party by calling your close friends and telling them to bring their friends. You might get a dumb comedy movie, but not an epic party.

The cafeteria was deserted this time of night. Cabel was sitting on the char, rocking back on the edge precariously. His laptop was perched on his lap and he tapped at it with his left hand, an unlit cigarette in his right. Cabel didn't smoke, but he liked the feel of a cigarette between his fingers.

He needed entertainment for the party, something to get people talking, something to help the nervous ones unwind. The nervous ones made the best clients.

So Cabel had posted an add, online, and stuffed a few flyers in discrete areas of town. He was willing to pay big, but he wanted an interview first.

So he waited.

Walking with a light bounce in her walk, Claire slowly made her way over to the cafeteria, where a certain flyer had told her to go. She was always one to explore, so finding a few odd but fun looking flyers had been child's pay for her. Not that she had been looking for them, but the fact that she had nothing better to do made her want to check it out. Pushing the cafeteria doors open with much force, she kept them open as she scanned the area for signs of life. Sure enough, there was a man, on his computer, almost waiting for someone. Smirking, she moved towards the man, walking confidently. As she got closer to the man, she slammed the paper on the table that he was around. Breathing as she stood up straight, she gave the man a short smile before smiling. "Hey there, I saw your flyer."

Cabel didn't hear anyone come in until the flyer was slammed on the table. He rocked back precariously with his arms flailing until he regained his balance.

The four legs of the chair slammed onto the ground and Cabel was up on his feet, one hand extended for a handshake and the other holding his laptop, and he grinned like he hadn't almost given himself a concussion.

"Good evening," he said, his voice booming in the empty cafeteria, so he lowered it. "My name is Cabel Sokot and I'm glad you found my flyer. I specialize in..."[/b[

He trailed off because what the hell did he specailize in? Saying he specialized in fun made him sound like he owned a chuck-e-cheeses. Saying he specailized in a good time made him sound like a prositute.

"Nights out," he finished. "And I'm looking to throw a bash. An awesome, awesome bash. So tell me, what can you bring to this bash to make it more awesome?

He said awesome way too many times in one sentence. Cabel was not good at talking to pretty girls.

Smiling once again as she saw his reaction to her slamming his flyer on the table, it seemed that he hadn't felt or seen her up until that point. He was a funny character, watching him flail around and then extending his arm as if nothing had happened made her laugh lightly. Shaking his hand with a strong squeeze, she let go of it after a few seconds. "Sounds fun, Cabel. I didn't know that there was that type of person here." She wasn't sure what 'nights out' meant, but it seemed like he was good at throwing parties or something of the sort. As he asked her what she could bring to his party, she looked around to see if there was any water around her, which was a negative. "Well, I can control water, as in manipulating it. I can also talk to animals, though I'm not sure if that would wow people."

She had a firm handshake. Cabel was impressed. He was sure firm handshakes meant something important, so he liked to have them.

"Controlling water?" Cabel tapped his fingers to his chin, thinking it over. "Can you make it into....shapes and stuff?"

He realized that was vague, so he flipped open his laptop screen, googling images of the casinos in Las Vegas with their water displays, and then just for the hell of it, he pulled up some ice sculptures.

"I think I like where this is going. What do you think--do you have something specific already planned?"

Maybe he should get a band, too. Get some kind of musical choreographed thing going. Cabel was wired, full of caffeine and energy. He wouldn't sleep tonight.

Blinking as he asked her if she could make shapes or forms, she wasn't sure what he meant by that. Did he mean bubbles and squares? There were tons of shapes that she could make, though she knew that there were a lot of ones that she didn't even know how to at the same time. Waiting for a clearer question before answering. She had no idea what to say, so she stayed quiet. When he asked again if there was anything she had planned, she nodded a no, as she hadn't fully planned it through. "No, I was really just here to see if I could be of any use." She crossed her arms over her chest, correcting herself to make sure she didn't sound useless."Whatever you think would work for me."

OOC: OMG I THOUGHT I RESPONDED IM SORRY

BiC:

Cabel nodded, tapping his foot off the floor. He dropped his hands and then paced for a moment. He couldn't help himself--he got like this in the middle of the night, wild, fired up like anything was possible.

"What I'm thinking is that maybe we should...I don't know. Get bright lights, so the water looks like it's different colors when you pass it through the lights, you know?" He was talking a mile a minute, gesticulating rapidly.

"Ever been to Vegas? or like a casino? Hang on I just found a video--but wait, what if....what if...Hmmm. Can you make the water shoot in the air like a volcano?"

OOC: I'm so sorry omg I just started school again ;; I'm so sorry for not posting

Claire watched closely as the man started to pace around the room. She was rather confused as to why he was doing it, as she had never seen someone move as quickly as he was. Blinking rapidly, she kept her eyes and ears open for any information that he might give her. What did he have in mind? Telling by the sense of how fast he was moving around, Claire knew that he was going to give her some good suggestions.

As he talked, it seemed that he wanted her to move the water through and around lights, to make it appear different colors. She had never though to do that, as she had always tried to change the color of the water herself. Waiting for a few moments to see if the man had any other tricks for her, it seemed that he wanted her to shoot the water up like a volcano. "Both of those ideas sound very possible for me to do. It would be rather easy to move the water around and maybe even through the colored lights." She paused, thinking to herself. "As for the volcano, how much water are we talking about?"
