Hiatus
Raella had this way of trapping Hwum, that even though she could easily break free and away she couldn't move. And that happened again, when Raella put her face right before Hwum's, a strange look in her eyes and an amused smile on her face. The fingers that travelled along Hwum's face left behind a tingling trail on her skin. Hwum could feel her breath get a tad quicker, along with her heartbeat, and all she could do was listen to Raella's voice and look into her eyes. Was this another power of Raella's? Or was there something wrong with Hwum? Her already warm cheeks heated up even more and Hwum swallowed, and nodded.
"U-uh huh, I, um, trust you. I can't wait."
Hwum's voice was a bit unsteady, and as she watched Raella's eyes wander on her face and end up on her lips the butterflies in Hwum's stomach went crazy.
Was something supposed to happen now?

As Raella pressed her lips against Hwum's forehead she didn't know if she should be relieved, or...disappointed?
Why would she be disappointed?
Hwum pressed her lips together, and she wanted to touch her fingers to where Raella had kissed her. Raella was making her really confused. Hwum hadn't had friends before, not really. Was this how friends acted? She wasn't really sure, but...something felt wrong. They were friends, right? Right?
Hwum stayed quiet for a while, also turning her face away in embarrassment. What was she supposed to say now?
"I, uh, I wish I could...do something as wonderful for you. You showed me colours. I'll be eternally grateful for that. Thank you."

It was adorable, really to watch Hwum struggle to get words out of her mouth, however, a lingering insecurity that softly played at the back of her mind. What were they doing? Perhaps the other was uncomfortable with her... odd advances. Regardless, even if she was bothered, Raella refused to let it show.

Live in the moment.

"There's one last thing I'd like to show you." She whispered, her voice barely audible over the hush of midnight wind. Closing her eyes in a moment of concentration, she let out a smooth exhale and begun to conjure her next illusion - a mirror.

It was just a simple life-sized reflection yet so much more. The sphere of Hwum's pupils were dyed a robust amber that glowed as though it were beneath a sublime sunset, almost like they've captured the very essence of autumn and shimmer of morning dew. Raella wished to craft a perfect reflection. From the bridge of her nose to the hues on her clothes, the curls in her hair to the essence of her flair, and from the tint on her lips to the tempt of her hips. Yet even the pinnacle of her magical abilities fell far too short for her liking - but she hoped that the reflection staring back at Hwum from deep within the confinements of the glassy surface would suffice.

Taking a step back, Raella let her thoughts remain unsaid in the hum of silence.

I want you to see yourself the way I view you.
