"A sophomore, then yeah, we'll be the same age," he'd give her a small smile. "Well you know at least one now...I still don't know many either," he spent most of his time in the woods, "well I'm not to hard to find if you ever want to hang out."

He'd let out a thoughtful hum, "pride is good, can keep you going, but it can be bad too.....ok..as a dragon that might have been slightly hypocritical of me to say." He'd tap the notes with a finger, "either way, these are always open to you, and you can keep the book I have a lot of copies," he'd say with a chuckle.

"When's the last time you ate?" he'd ask, scratching at his cheek a little, "I've seen that look in your eyes before...focused on work, to where everything else fades into the background." He'd check something on his phone, "actually, want to get something to eat with me? There's a place close to the school, my treat."

Wednesday felt one of her eyes twitch. Maybe it was because of how tired she was, but she found his statement agitating. Was he trying to lecture her? He was some stranger who knew nothing about her, where'd he get off talking about pride. She had been right about to vocalise something to that effect, but right before she could she was interrupted a loud rumbling.

Originating audibly from her stomach.

Wednesday found herself blushing again.

"Well...I suppose I could use some food." She mumbled.

He'd chuckle a little at the growling stomach and the cute blush that appeared on her face. "Well the place I know has good food," rising from his seat he'd gather the books into his arms. "Let's get these checked out and grab some food."

They'd get them checked out, Eein humming a bit as they did. He wasn't a shut in by any means, but he didn't hang out with friends and such often.

With the books taken care of he'd start to lead her out of the school, leading her towards a restaurant. "What kind of magic can you do?" he'd ask curiously as they walked.

Wednesday yawned to herself, before heading up to leave as well. A few of the books, she realised, probably weren't going to be that helpful. Not in the state she was in, at least. She gathered the ones she planned on going over later, took them to the front desk, and once they were checked out, tucked them into her backpack. Slinging it over her shoulder, she followed Eein outside.

She seemed somewhat distracted as they walked, not just from her lack of sleep. It took her a second to acknowledge his question, she blinked a couple times before responding.

"Um, well....I'm a witch, from a family of witches, actually." She explained. "So a lot of what I can do is ritual based. There's a lot of components I have to get right if I want to do any kind of magic."

There was, admittedly, a little more to it than that. But Wednesday still wasn't sure how much she should really talk about her capabilities with strangers. Old habits.

"Uh, what about you?" She asked. "I'm guessing you have some experience as well...?"

"Interesting," he'd say with a thoughtful hum, "my mom was friends with a few covens back home, I remember having dinner with them a few time before they moved." They were good but distant memories of his old life.

He'd nod. "Well, I'm a dragon, an ice dragon to be exact," hold up his hand he'd form a small blue flame in his palm, "freezing flame," he'd close his hands, putting it out. "I've been looking into size altering spells too, plus storm manipulation."

The young dragon glanced at her. "Can I ask about your tattoos?" he'd ask curiously, "they're actually really cool looking, I think I recognize a few of the symbols."
