Good. he said, putting a hand on those wrapped around his neck in order to give the boy some comfort. Once again, he pressed his feet against the wall of the tower, crouching slightly like a diver before a jump. Hold on tightly there. Putting all of his strength behind the push, he jumped.

Launching himself in the air, Michael folded his wings as far as he could, considering that Willaim was on his back, in order for them not to slow him down by fighting against the current of air, spreading them in one fast motion once he reached the hight of his jump, speaning slightly as he turned around the imvisible corrner, and towards the dorms, starts flying around their heads as he did so.

<div align=center>The sudden rush of air made William cough and made him squint. He perhaps should have listened to Gabe, he realized when he had offered to help him find the way back to his dorm, God knows how he ended up on the roof, but deep down Bill was sort of glad he did. He giggled at the sensation of the drop, and held on a little tighter. The feeling made him think of the roller coasters at theme parks, though thinking about it he never really liked those, his friends used to tease him for always getting motion sickness. Bill really didn't like being teased, it upset him a lot.

His eyes flickered above him again, "I like stars," he stated, his voice barely audible above the rushing wind, "did you know that Ursa Minor is supposed to look like a baby bear?" He asked, "but it's got a really long tail..." He laughed at the image, he didn't think bears had tails. "There are a lot of Greek myths about stars, I think they're interesting." Though whether Micheal did or not was another matter, William tended to end up rambling when he was able to talk about things he liked, people often got irritated with him because of it.</div>

Do you wish to see them closer? Michaels asked impulsivly, already pulling them higher witout waiting for a proper answer.

There are 152 stars right above this point., he said at one moment, still moving up through the air. I counted them before. I was bored., spinning around himself, he setteled at the highest safe point he could reach, still holding his hand over William's.

I, as well, always found the sky interesting. he added, his eyes lazily running over the thousands and thousands of small bright dots spread against th epitch black sky, which was much clear here than down there where the light could still reach them, obstructing their view.

Though I know nothing about it but the ways in which wind and rain reaper themselves.

<div align=center>William's gaze shifted from the sky, to the rapidly disappearing ground beneath him. He almost screamed, he felt incredibly dizzy all of a sudden, and felt his grip slipping. Of course, this frightened him even more, and he began to panic, his heart thudding against his ribcage and his mind reeling with every single way he could die in this situation. He tried to rid the thoughts from his head and think about something that didn't involve him being turned into a crimson puddle on the cobblestones of the grounds below, or worse impaled on one of the spikes on top of the roof, at least his death would be instant if he hit the ground, there's no telling how long it'd take for him to painfully die stuck on one of those spikes, his blood gradally staining the metal and the roof tiles.

Bill screamed. It was an awful sound, matching something that sounded very close to something from a horror movie. The poor boy was terrified, he found himself unable to breath and unable to think about anything else other than dying. He shook his head vigorously, "please! Please go back down again please I don't like it up here!"</div>

At first, Michael had in mind to just turn around and calm the boy down rather than going down himself, but after hearing that terrified scream, and so close to his ear on top of that, he saw that there was no other way, and in order to get down as fast as he could, he did one thing he probably shouldn't have: he put on his necklase, abolishing his wings.

They began falling immediately, spinning through the air as Michael looked for a safe spot to land among the shadows of the long towers, his sight good enough to distinguish between them in the dark.

It seemed like they were falling forever as he enjoyed the taste of the cold air, but suddenly, he remembered his passanger and how easily scared he was, which made him tear his necklase a few minutes earlier than the wanted to do. His wings came back to life, slowing them down, as he gracefully landed somewhere he deemed was about half way to the dorms.

<div align=center>William didn't think he'd ever been so terrified in his life, though there was an exhilarating sort of feeling to it, and Micheal's emotions flowed off into him, making him feel excited and perhaps a little daring. His terrified scream soon changed into that kind of scream you do when a roller coaster drops from the peak, you know you're safe, but the feeling drives this noise out of you. William might not have liked to admit it, but he might actually be enjoying this, regardless how tight he found himself suddenly holding onto Micheal, clinging both with his arms and his legs. When they landed, William took a couple of minutes to recollect himself, and when he climbed down he was pale, and quivery, though it was difficult for him to hide the bright smile upon his boyish features.

He gave Micheal a playful shove, "don't you ever do that again!" He laughed, pushing his hair from his face in one delicate sweep of his hand, "at least not without telling me." He was panting softly, the cold wind had painted a flush of pink on his cheeks and his eyes were glinting softly in the hazy moonlight. He pushed his hands into his pockets and smiled at Micheal, he thought had known deep down that the winged-boy was never going to let him fall.</div>

You said you wanted to get down. Michael thought, shruging his left shoulder, his wings moving along with it. And this was the fastest way to do it. he added, as he inspected the necklase in his right hand. The chain was now completely gone, only small pendant remained, which meant that he could not get rid of his wings until some time later, when he found something to replace a thin piece of silver. That was the only flaw within his mental trick, the fact that the pendant for some reason had to be around his neck in order to work, and nowhere else. He sighed again, putting the pendatn in one of the front pockets of his jacket-which was still on William-before looking at the boy once more.

Plus, you cannot tell me you didn't like it. he smilled, pushing his shoulder lightly, and little awkwardly. He wasn't used to elaborate human conntact. Come, I'll lead you to the dorm.

<div align=center>William laughed, "if you say so." He teased, letting out a short, exhilarated sigh. He shrugged off the jacket a moment later, and passed it back to him, "would you like this back?" He asked, eyeing the large tear in the back of it, didn't do much for warmth, he thought, but he'd been grateful for it. He wondered about the pendant, but he didn't want to ask, he'd worked out to some extent that when on the necklace it had hidden his wings, though, now the necklace was broken, obviously that wasn't happening. Bill felt bad for Micheal, wings would get in the way. He dug around in his pockets, seemingly searching for something.

The boy pulled out a frayed piece of string, he frowned, it wasn't very pretty. It was from a package he'd had tied up in his suitcase, he'd tied the string around it so the things inside wouldn't fall out, they'd been delicate things he hadn't wanted to break. "Would this work?" He asked quietly, it was long enough to tie up. "It isn't as pretty as the silver chain, though.." He looked concerned for a moment, or perhaps the chain had something to do with it as well as the little pendant.</div>

'Thank you.', Michael said, not through his thoughts, but by oppening his mouth and letting his vocal cords do their work. He then took his jacket from William's hands, hoping that the boy would last till they got to the dorms, and eyeing the big wholes in the back. Perhaps he shouldn't replace it, but simply leave it as it is. He didn't wear it for warmth in the first place, and there was simply no way that he would remember to be careful with the next one anyway. Putting it over his shoulder, in between the wings, he took in what William was now holding.

'Yes.', he said once more, beefore letting his thoughts flow again. The chain has nothing to do with it. In the end, it's just a simple trick of the mind..., he added, putting the pendant around his neck, the string almost imvisable, giving the impresion that the pendant was just floating around his neck. He put the jacket back on, mindful of his hair, shifting his shoulders a bit in order to get comfortable in it again. He could still feel William's warmth and that made him smile, just a bit. It almost wasn't visable.

<div align=center>A bright smile appeared on William's face, though he was still incredibly curious about how it worked. William was the sort that simply had to know everything, he couldn't help it, it just liked to know all about what was going on around him, or why it was happening, or what it meant. He thought he would be okay on the trip back to his dorm, he could curl up in his duvet and fall asleep. He hoped the bed was comfortable, he had slept once already today (which was actually incredibly unusual, William would normally take around four or five naps a day,) but it hadn't been in his own bed.

He wondered what the time was, to him it seemed terribly late, since he seldom stayed awake past nine, it wasn't that he was lazy, he was just sleepy, and he was almost always sleepy, it didn't matter how much he had slept during the day or how early he had gone to bed, he was only really awake for about three hours during a day, the rest of the time he was half asleep, and just a little bit slow. The boy yawned softly, and stifled it with one hand, his roommate would probably be asleep, though thinking about it, he didn't even know who that was.</div>
