So I've got this guy Khalid. He was a field scout, and he'd been that way for a long while.

If you want your character to have been picked up by him as a scout sometime between 2010 and February 2018, let me know! Generally speaking these would have been non-violent pickups, but Khalid's also the guy who'd be calling in the extraction teams if things got too dicey for him. In particular, if you had a character show up in early March whose retrieval could have involved Khalid getting shot, let me know!

In more recent news, he's also becoming a Dorm Parent! That means he'll be the effective guardian for a boatload of high schoolers. These don't have to be new arrivals, because they might be getting moved over to his section of the dorm. If you want him to be a dorm parent for a character, let me know!

I have Dragomir, whose pick-up from Romania two years ago was non-violent. It'd be cool with me if Khalid was the one who picked them up.

I dunno if it really counts as what your looking for, but while Euphie wasn't picked up by scouts her arrival on the island was arranged by them, since it needed to happen secretly. She is however a really new arrival who doesn't have a legal guardian, so having a dorm parent might be interesting for her.

I'll note them down! Khalid can have been one of the scouts that picked Dragomir up, based on their story.

Their backstory actually makes sense for him to have been involved. A big part of Khalid's setup is that he has a pretty big intelligence network. My only question is when this happened, since I'm not sure on the timeline for how long she's been on the island.

Regina could be a dorm kid f his. She's been a problem child in ways we can DM about if you're interested.

While Madeline might not have met him in the field, he might have been involved in her case in some capacity, if my understanding of his current role is accurate (she showed up on the island in June, and his intelligence network you mentioned earlier might have picked up on her). Furthermore, he could be Madeline's dorm parent. She, too, is a bit of a problem child, but she's more low-key about it.

He also might have been involved in learning about Riley's situation and calling in the team to deal with that clusterquack.

Yeah, with that timeline he couldn't have been involved in bringing them to the island, but they can still be a dorm parent if you want.

@Kait

He's been off work more or less from March to September, so the timeline couldn't quite work.

That said, if you wanna pick who to throw at the dorms, I can work with almost anyone.

Xera definitely is down for dorm kid availability. Also, I have no idea if it would have been possible for Khalid to work with police in extracting her from her house, but if so I'm also fine with that.
