She watched as he set up the shower for her, holding the soap as he handed it to her. When he left her there, she slowly undressed, fingers releasing the bindings that held her in such a small fashion.

When she stepped into the water and it was not cold, she gave a little gasp of surprise. Surely this was magic in its own right?! As she stared upward at the 'shower', in amazement, the water pelted her face and she murmured to herself, fingers rubbing at the soap as she tried to figure out how to use it.

As the bubbles began to form across her hands, she began to rub the soap into small circles over her skin, staring at the showerhead all the while... When she was clean, and the bubbles washed away, she reached out to figure out how to turn the shower off — she had watched him, though she only ended up turning the cold side off and scalding herself; which caused her to yelp and jerk backwards, stumbling against the shower as she scrambled to get out of the death-rain.

She did not understand!

Hair dripping, she claimed a the towel he had given her and curled up in a corner, hugging the towel as if it were a blanket. The water was still running and the bathroom was quickly filling with steam.

Kamren had been waiting in the bedroom. He just knew she would find a way to mess it up. He sighed as he heard her yelp. Either it was too hot or too cold. He frowned when he saw the girl crumpled in a corner. He turned off the shower off and grabbed another towel to wrap her hair in. " Are you Okay princess, you made the shower to hot. You shouldn't have touched it. I wouldve turned it off"

He carefully picked her up, making sure the towel was still around her, as he picked up the clothes both dirty and cleaned. He set her down on.his bed mumbling about recleaning the sheets. He had no idea why he cared for her so much. "Get dressed, dont touch any thing least you get hurt, im going ti put this in the washer to clean.it." He instructed as he closed the door and walked to the laundry room. Surely she couldn't hurt herself with three.minutes right?

As she was scooped up, she clung to him — and then he placed her down and told her to get dressed. The woman blinked upward, almost blankly as he disappeared with her dress, to wash. How would he wash it? Was he a servant? Did he have more magic that was unlike anything she had ever seen (aka electricity, running water, et.)

She stared at the clothes she held, before tugging on a the pants... The shirt was harder, however. In her time, buttons and clasps had gone in the back, not the front. She had managed to pull the shirt up and over her front; the buttons were on the back, however, and she could not manage to button or clasp them.

So she simply stayed sitting on his bed, hands resting in her lap.

kamren was put the dress in the wash, carefull not to load to much soap in it. He figure he was supposed to treat it like one of his suits. After starting it on the delicate wash, he put the chicken in the oven and turned on some music, keeping the volume low. He was trying to put as much time and distance between the stranger and him. He was so weirded out by how much effort and care he was putting into this. He didn't really see anything worth keeping around. Of course that was him being a jerk, he knew that he was prone to seeing himself as better than others...because he was.

When he got back, he froze looking at Nimeuh. He groaned, it would be to rude to laugh at her. Especially since she probably wasn't used to things the way he was. "Princess, it buttons in the front." He said averting his eyes as he helped her turn the shirt the right way and button the buttons. He wasn't going to peek at a girl who was vunerable in anyway shape or form...that wasn't completely consenual. He walked to his draws and pulled out a pair of socks and pointed to her feet as he handed them to her.

"It's cold downstairs, also we need to dry your hair so you don't get sick. I'll help as long as you don't freak out over the blow dryer. I'm not trying to hurt you, if i was you'd be dead by now." He said getting the blowdryer from it's peg and plugging it in. He patted the desk chair he had brought into his room so she would come and sit. He felt like he was taking care of a small child, he wasn't sure how he felt about that.

Nimueh stared at him as he helped her, frowning slowly. This did not frighten her, or feel too strange — she had never dressed herself. Servants had always dressed her, or Mordunr. She tugged at the shirt once it was buttoned, frowning. "Why is this corset so loose?" She inquired, quietly as she moved to sit on the chair.

When she settled onto the chair she eyed the strange thing in his hand, hugging her legs as she stared at him. "Not going to... hurt." She murmured, nodding slowly as she reached out with a hand to touch this thing he called a blowdryer.

She shifted slightly, rocking back and forth. When he actually turned the hairdryer on, she jumped a bit, but he had said he was not going to hurt her. Nimueh eyed the strange... what was she supposed to call this loud-mouthed thing other than a monster? She stared at the blowdryer, reaching out to touch it — gasping when her fingers ran through the heat it was producing.

She was amazed. This was like a fire's heat in a magical tunnel.

Karmen wait for her to inspect the blow dryer before taking a brush and starting to dry her hair. He hoped that she would eventually get over the shock of her time traveling because this was slowly driving him insane. He wanted to walk away but something told him that it would be a horrible sin to leave her to deal with all this herself. For some reason he liked being the one knowing what was going on, it was probably his pride keeping him going. He was known for doing stupid things, and this was probably one of them. Of course assuming she was actually harmless, and not going to hurt him was stupidly prideful.

He ran the brush and the hairdryer through her hair until its dry and then lift it hanging down. Her hair was quite beautiful when it wasn't matted, with dirt and cobwebs. "Now princess, I hope you were paying attention, because im not gonna always do this. I have servants, I am not a servant." He had to say something, being demon royalty he was proud like that. Okay yeah no it had everything to do with who his father was.

He unnplugged the blowdryer and put it back on his peg. He waited by the door, for her to get up and follow him. The scent of chicken had fully reached his room by now and he left to take it out the oven and start on the Fetticuini noodles. He normally had take-out but he figured cooking wouldn't hurt too much, and Nimueh wouldn't do to go with another person...or a car.

"Come on princess, lets get you some food."

She fell quiet as he spoke and dried her hair. He had servants but was not a servant himself. That was fair. But for him to assume the young woman would not summon... Well, he did not yet realize what she was.

When he stood and led her to the door, she followed slowly... At the sight of the kitchen she gazed around; her lips tugging into a smile. "Chicken!" She knew this food, but she did not understand how he had cooked it.

Quietly Nimueh moved to sit in a chair; it seemed to be what he told her to do the most. Sit and stay. It bothered her to be ordered about, except he did not order her about in a way that made it seem as an order.

"Mordu--uhm... Kamren. What year is it?" He was too similar. Too... Similar. Once she had a chance she'd need to go and see what Mordunr had packed away with her inside the old citadel.

Kamren waited for her to sit down, and then he walked over to the stove to put the noodles on. He took the chicken out the stove carefully, and sliced it down the middle to make sure it was done. He was satisfied that it was done enough so he emptied it on to a serving plate and set it down on the table.

He put a plate infront of Nimueh and a fork and butter knife. " I know you're hungrh princess, but be careful it's hot." he hadnt expected her to wait for the nooddles, so he worked on the sauce and garlic bread. He kept himself busy, and turned the radio up a bit.

She had been so quiet she hadnt expected him to talk. When she did he shrugged his shoulders and went to get the pictcher of soda and too glasses.

" 2016, And we dont really use magic all that much. This is a magical island, however we have electritcy, which s an element and it powers almost everything" He explained to her slowly setting an empty glass infront front of her and pour the soda.

Pretty soon the noodles and sauce were done and those to were set on the table. He got himself a plate and began to pile food on it precisely.

Nimueh stared quietly in the direction of the stove as he spoke to her. "Eight... Hundred. It's been..." she stared at the plate of food he had placed in front of her. The soda she assumed was wine. And when she went to sip it the fizzy surprised her and she shoved the glass frantically away.

She stared at the soda silently, frowning. She bit her lip as she spoke softly, "Do you have a history scroll?" A book. She wanted a book. She assumed this time still recorded things upon scrolls to track history.

She chewed her lip as she watched him, leaning to taste her chicken carefully. "Can I go home soon? To my citadel?" It was not really a home but it was all she had of her time.

Kamren gave an amused snort to reaction to soda. At the scroll he shook his head "No but i have doumentries and books" he said softly. He could tell she was scared and outta place. He hated how much he seemed to care about this strange girl.

"Its just a drink, its called soda. He said pouring hinself and drinking some. He sighed about the citadel. " in the morning, ill take you back there. If you want you can stay here for awhile. Demon or not, im not walking the woods at night."

"There's heat here"
