Eve made a mental note that Jake didn't like mushrooms, and smiled a bit at the statement about why he ate the mushrooms now despite not liking them. Eve understood Jake probably didn't want to insult him, and his thoughtfulness was a bit touching."Thank you, I'm touched you like my pizza that much. And in the future I'll make it without mushrooms and even better."
Eve chuckled a bit and settled back into his place with a pizza slice in hand, taking reasonable bites. Before he had had the habit of eating his food fast and frantically but in time he had grown out of it. And as the movie progressed Eve moved a tad closer to Jake so their legs touched slightly.

Eve got immersed into the movie fast, and he did some casual small talk about it with Jake during. Afterwards he asked Eve what he thought, and Eve had a brief thoughtful expression on his face.
"I quite liked it, the CGI was very well done. I feel like painting Pandora now."
Eve chuckled a bit, and smiled at Jake gently.
"Your company made it that much enjoyable as well."
Saying those words made Eve a bit flustered, but he didn't regret it as it was the truth. He started cleaning up alongside Jake, taking the trash to the trashcan. Eve had a miniature dishwasher and whatever dishes they had used he loaded in it.
Eve supposed it was time for Jake to go now, though it was bit of a shame. But there was no way Jake would stay the night, and they had just agreed to watch a movie. And they had plenty of other opportunities to spend time together.
Eve saw Jake to the entryway, and he had a small, albeit bit lonely smile on his face.
"This was nice, I hope you'll come again."
Eve said, slightly nervous and lonely. He looked at Jake and swallowed. Eve hadn't really been in a normal relationship before, he didn't know at what pace you were supposed advance. But...he wanted to try something that Jake might reject him for. That was immensely scary, but Eve felt brave. It had been a nice evening, surely this wasn't enough to ruin it.
Eve stepped forward a bit and carefully, and timidly touched his hand to Jake's arm. Their faces were almost on the same level, so Eve only had to slowly bring his face closer and touch his lips lightly to Jake's.
