Disaster

Adelina sat on the snowy ground, not really caring that it was cold. She had on a black coat, a black pair of pants... to put it simply, she was wearing all black, like she usually was. Brown hair was pulled back into a pony-tail, and she looked up at October, who was leaning against a tree.

The violet-eyed-girll kept against the tree, arms folded over her chest. She was cold, but she ignored it, since, well, it was winter. Besides, she was out here with three other people, and she didn't want to have to force them to go inside because of her. She was getting a cold, and knew it wasn't exactly wise to be out here, but she didn't care. She wanted to spend time with her sister, Andrew, and Dani.

Adelina turned to Andrew and Dani. "So..." she started off, "how are you two today?"

"Bored." Dani replied, twirling a lock of blonde hair around her finger. She pulled her light blue coat down over her jeans a little.

Andrew shrugged at Addie's question. He was in a lazy sort of mood, and didn't really feel like replying. He watched with interest and a lime green VMW pulled up to the school.

A tall, blonde woman stepped out of the car. Andrew felt that he was supposed to know who she was, but he couldn't figure out why.

Dani had also been watching the woman. Her eyes widened as she got closer. "Andrew..."

Andrew finally realized who it was, and he frowned.

Adelina laughed at Dani's response, and shook her head at Andrew's lack of one. "Same here," she said, more to Dani than to her boyfriend, but still to both of them. She looked to where Andrew was looking, an eyebrow raising somewhat upon seeing the car. She looked at the woman, then looked at Dani when she spoke his name.

She noticed both of their reactions, becoming confused, but not going to ask. She looked at the woman again, deciding that she would figure it out in time, or that if she didn't, it didn't matter.

October blinked when she saw the car, her head tilting to the side. She noticed both Andrew's and Dani's reactions to this, and assumed that they both knew the woman. "Who's she?" the thirteen-year-old asked quietly.

Andrew straightened. "What the heck is she doing here?" He muttered under his breath.

Dani started walking towards the woman, her hands on her hips. Andrew followed her to keep her from doing anything crazy, also from curiousity.

October blinked when she didn't receive an answer, but supposed it was really bad if they hadn't said anything. She watched as they started walking toward the woman, going to suppose Dani wasn't too happy, and quickly went to her sister to help her up. Once Adelina was standing as well, the sisters followed after Andrew and Dani, hoping they wouldn't mind it. They looked at the woman, not yet putting together who it was.

"Hi, Andrew, Dani." The woman said. Dani nearly glared. "Danica." She replied.
Andrew- the calm one, as always- said quietly. "Mom, this is October, and this is my girlfriend, Adelina. They're sisters."
"Hello." Their mother greeted the sisters.

Both of the sisters knew that by the way Dani had corrected the woman, she didn't like her very much. Both of their eyes widened in shock when Andrew greeted her as their mother, and October and Adelina looked at each other. Their mom? Oh, dear. Adelina had a feeling this wasn't going to be very good.

October smiled, even though she had the same feeling. "Hello," she said.

Adelina didn't smile, but instead just nodded. "Hey."

Neither of them said anything else, wanting to know what the woman's reason for being there was.

"Okay, so, I'm going to go talk to the headmistress, and you two go pack." Their mother told them.

"PACK?!" Dani bellowed.

Their mother nodded and started walking towards the school. "Excuse me, Madeline." She said to Addie.

And hearing those words is when Adelina went off. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY PACK?!" she spat, her voice really quite loud, but she didn't care. An angry look came to her face as she looked at the twins mother, wondering what she was doing. Oh, if she planned on taking Andrew and Dani away, she had another thing coming. The older ice elementalist would not allow that to happen, and she was sure October wouldn't either. "AND MY NAME IS 'ADELINA', NOT MADELINE!!"

October gasped, both by what the woman had said and by Adelina's and Dani's comments. She swallowed, getting the feeling she was going to have to stop her sister from getting to angry and doing something bad. Deciding to actually keep her head for this instead of getting panicked and angry, she remained silent.

Their mother chose to ignore Adelina's comment about her name. "Yes, pack. You two are going back to London with me." She said calmly. "So, if you'll excuse me, I really do need to speak to the headmistress." She glanced at the other people minding their own business and shivered involuntarily.
"WHAT?!" Andrew and Dani exclaimed together, except Dani was much louder, and she drowned Andrew out.
Andrea, January, be dears and help them pack, please. We really should be getting on the road before dark."
