Almost nothing impresses Daring, and outside they usually react to thing with either general disinterest or aggression. But the few things that do make Daring happy make them very much so, and Daring enjoys their interests to the fullest.
Irritable - Daring has a thick skin for bullshit and is fairly patient, but they have a short temper and if you know their triggers Daring is easy to irritate and anger. When angered Daring often feels the strong urge to use violence, to beat away their problems instead of using words. Daring can control this urge and won't use violence senselessly, but they will still yell at you rather than acting calm. It's liberating, and there isn't a clearer way to get the message through.
Distrusting - Daring doesn't trust anyone. They only trust Sweetpea, and even them Daring doubts from time to time. It's a long process to win Daring's trust, and this process requires always being genuine to Daring and not wanting anything from them. Daring is sick and tired of being used and having to live through other people, and if you want them to show an even ounce of trust towards you better work for it.
Rude - Daring doesn't talk much, and even when they do they don't have nice things to say all that often. Daring says all their words with edge, unless it's towards someone they care about. And even then Daring shows some tough love. But Daring doesn't go out of their way to purposefully insult people or be mean, they just think they get their message through better with the way they say it. Daring is a NEK0, an artificially created humanoid with cat ears and tail meant to be sold to the highest bidder. They were created in the second batch of NEK0s, and their serial number was NEK005.2#711966. Soon after their creation Daring was sold to a wealthy surgeon along with 4 other NEK0s. Initially Daring was named Blanc after their white hair.
The surgeon, although often absent due to work, was a good owner and treated his NEK0s well. Blanc had the company of their "siblings", after all, so they weren't lonely. Daring took good care of their siblings, acting as a kind of big sister for them all.
After being saved from their hellish life by academy scouts Blanc/Molly renamed themselves Daring, as if to instill courage in themselves. Daring was brought to Manta Carlos at the beginning of the year 2019, but had to spend few months in the hospital to get treatment for their weakened body and do rehabilitation with the new proper robotic limbs that were gifted to them by the island.
The surgeon, although often absent due to work, was a good owner and treated his NEK0s well. Blanc had the company of their "siblings", after all, so they weren't lonely. Daring took good care of their siblings, acting as a kind of big sister for them all.
The life did not stay good for the NEK0s, as eventually their owner began getting more and more abusive, and he began doing...things to the NEK0s that were scary and painful. Things escalated to a point, where one of the NEK0's legs were amputated and they died of shock. This embedded a deep fear inside the other NEK0s' minds.
One of the three NEK0s left decided to run away, leaving behind Blanc and their sibling Sekitan. That was the right choice, since the collars the NEK0s had to wear were meant to kill them in case they ran away. This was the fate of Blanc and Sekitan's sibling, and the two began to live in extreme fear.
The owner did not stop his abuse, and soon after it was Blanc's turn. One day the surgeon brought Blanc into a room with a steel table and a lot of sharp instruments, including a bone saw. Blanch, paralyzed with fear, didn't realize to resist before they were strapped into the table. And the surgeon proceeded to amputate all of Blanc's limbs, starting with their legs. Blanc only remembers the pain and screaming, and then thankfully they lost consciousness.
Blanc woke up without limbs and in immeasurable pain, and so afraid of what their master would do to them next. But thankfully he never got the chance to do anything worse. The surgeon was suddenly swamped with multiple malpractice suits and ended up deep in debt. And he used his leftover NEK0s to pay that debt. Blanc and Sekitan were sold separately, and they didn't see each other again.
Blanc was a secondhand NEK0, and damaged goods no less with having no limbs. They were sold from one person to another, often used as a mere sex doll or decoration. This continued for a year or so, and Blanc was feeling nothing but anger and pain and fear hidden under a layer of numbness, that protected their fragile mind.
Eventually Blanc was sold to a wealthy businessman, and Blanc thought they'd also remain here only for a short while as a sex doll. But this man turned out to be their most horrifying owner yet after the surgeon.

He manufactured special limbs for them, that were exactly like those of a doll, bendable at joints. He also manufactured a special full-body cast for Molly, that prevented them from moving at all on their own, left at the mercy of their owner and servants. Molly hated their little freedom being stolen from them, but when they refused to make the expression their owner wanted and spoke up the owner made a special mask for Molly, that was a smiling version of their face, and it muffled their voice so it couldn't be heard. All Molly could do was watch, and sit still. And every time the mask was taken off for feeding Molly screamed.
This treatment went for for over a year, and Molly's owner once in a while used their body to satisfy his sexual desires or hit them in order to release stress. Molly's life was a nightmare, and many times they planned their own suicide. Molly developed an intense fear of dolls, and as the room they were kept in was filled with dolls Molly rarely could sleep.
