Violetal looked curiously at Leila. The Garden of Eden topic had clearly gotten her attention. It was just too bad that Vi wasn't very knowledgeable about the various religions on Earth so she couldn't get too much into it. "It might not be the same thing, but it sure is a weird coincidence. You could probably look some of it up at the library if you wanted to know more."

Traveling to other worlds did sound kind of fun. Vi hummed a little as she tried to imagine traveling like that- with just a snap of the fingers. "That's an amazing ability Leila, you must get to see a lot of cool-" she broke off as Leila produced her hand from behind her back.

Vi gasped as she looked down at the beautiful flower. She hadn't expected a gift of any kind, and certainly not anything so pretty. "Oh... I love it Leila. I'll make sure I put it in water or something when I get back to my dorm. But... I don't really have anything to give you in return," she said as she wracked her brain to come up with something small she could do in return for the flower. Not because she was compelled to or anything, but because she wanted to do something nice for her new friend.

The local library was something that was just introduced to the girl by someone else, thankfully. Now she had a pretty decent reason to go and explore it as well! Not that she wouldn't do so if Vi didn't mention it, but now she at least had a concrete goal when there. Entwining her own fingers together, she smiled at the vampire next to her. "Okay, I'll make sure to look for any books on the topic!"

And while the conversation and topic themselves were a lot of fun, there was something that made the girl smile even more. And that was her companion's expression and reaction when she took the rose. "What are you talking about? You already gave me quite a lot!" She dared to go against Vi's words. This whole conversation and a possible new friendship.

"When I came to this place, I certainly didn't expect to be treated so kindly. Or to enter a world this peaceful for that matter. So thank you for this." Wearing almost a dumb smile on her face as she said this. Was it alright for her to open up this much to someone she had pretty much just met? It didn't quite matter to her right now. And honestly, she had a pretty good feeling about this.

Had she given Leila anything? A little advice, the beginnings of a friendship... maybe she thought that was enough. And that probably was fair, Vi remembered being new to the island and trying to make new friends.. or rather her first real friends since becoming a vampire.

"Ok, I won't argue with all that. It's a lot nicer and more friendly here than I expected too. Plenty of drama and things pop up but mostly people are really helpful," she smiled as she tried to figure out if she could manage to put the rose in her hair. It wasn't exactly something she did very often. It kind of showed as the flower slumped back out after she moved her hands away.

"Welp...," she laughed as she caught it before it fell to the ground, "maybe that wasn't a great idea... but i'll keep it safe."

Vi hummed to herself as she worked to untangle the flower from the loose strands of her hair it had become horribly snarled in. It was't going that well, and she probably looked a little ridiculous with her hair mostly covering her face. The humming though did give her an idea.

"I know!" she exclaimed after a moment. "I could sing another song. If you'd like to hear one I mean." That was something she could do and Leila had seemed to like the singing earlier so... yeah, that's what she wanted to offer. And she could do it while she got the darn flower back out of her hair.

It would be little too optimistic to say that there was a place that was perfect. Where there were beings with their own free will, there would be some form of conflict. So the fact that there would be occasional drama even in an academy like this one that could probably be considered as close to a paradise from the supernatural as could be had to be expected.

That aside, Leila chuckled as she saw the blue rose stubbornly try to leave her new friend's hair after being inserted into it. "The idea seemed fine, just the execution. Let me help~" She offered and scooted even closer than before. Hopefully, Vi was ready to have her personal space broken a bit, as the silver-haired maiden was almost leaning against her when she reached for Eden's flower and started untangling it from the hair it was stuck in.

"So soft to touch... ah, sure! I would love to hear another song!" Exclaiming happily, the girl would start focusing on her hearing as she slowly pulled the flower out of the hair without tugging on it too much. And right after, she decided to put it back in. Having an ability to grow flowers like this, she used to put them in her own hair quite a lot, so this was not too much of a problem.

Soon enough, the Rose was sitting in Vi's hair comfortably and in a way where it would be easily removed afterward as well. So Leila would move a little bit further away again and close her eyes happily as she listened to the new song that would surely be a wonderful melody for her.

Vi didn't seem to be bothered by Leila scooting over closer to help with the dastardly rose trying to steal her hair. She sighed and gave up trying to mess with it herself, leaning her head on it's side towards Leila so she could get to the rose.

Vi didn't really think her own hair was especially soft but maybe it just always returned to the way it had been when she was turned. It somehow always came back purple too, why not be as soft as it had been when she had been... more concerned about being attractive?

But she had offered to sing and Leila seemed to be happy about that. Well technically 'seemed' was wrong, because Vi knew for a fact the woman was happy. Emotion sensing and all. The purple haired woman smiled at Leila as the flower was carefully slipped out of her hair and then she began singing an epic of a song.

It started off quiet and smooth like the calm water of a lake and began to expand and grow louder as the rose was slipped back into Vi's hair. This time properly situated so it wouldn't fall out. The melody rose and built up until their portion of the courtyard was filled with the story of drifting alone in an ocean during a storm. Finally it slowly tapered off as the song told of clouds breaking and the moon shining through overhead.

Vi grinned over at Leila. "So, did you like it? I didn't write it but... I think it's a fun one to sing," she asked excitedly even though she sort of knew the answer already. It bothered some people if she just used what she knew from their emotions rather than letting them tell her what they wanted to.

She listened to the song happily while working on putting the rose into her friend's hair. At first there was surprise because of what kind of song it was. Leila quickly grew to like it, even. Especially considering she had ever only heard such songs sung by large groups of people during certain events. The fact that a single girl could perform such a feat was rather amazing in its own right.

When all was done and the silver haired maiden sat comfortably next to Vi, started clapping and smiled brightly. Words were probably not even really needed for the current situation. Surely she could not praise the vampire enough. "You've got quite the gift of voice. It makes me just a little bit jealous, really." She chuckled as she looked up at the night's sky.

She had met many different and talented individuals during her adventures, but she could never really be like them. Her talents lied somewhere completely different. An area that was not welcome in a world she wanted to live in. It made her sigh as she looked down at her feet where weeds were slowly creeping up the stone bench.

Vi grinned at all the happy clapping from Leila and of course the compliment. Singing was one of the skills she really enjoyed using, even if she still hesitated to do it in front of a large audience. It felt really good for others to enjoy it as much as she did.

She followed Leila's gaze up into the sky and then back down, glancing at the twinkling stars above and then... the ground? Vi wasn't entirely sure what the woman was looking at but she could feel her emotions. Violeta patted her gently on the shoulder. "Hey, we all have cool talents here. You can grow life in the plants you make right? That's amazing too. And that's something, coming from an undead vampire chick," she laughed and tried to cheer her up.

Vi was nothing if not protective of her friends. She'd literally sung fear into the hearts of men and shoved them aside while rescuing one of her friends from a college rave not that long ago. She wasn't about to have her newest friend sit there un-comforted.

Leila shook her head as Vi tried to cheer her up. Though she also looked up at her and grinned a little bit. "It's not that, not really. The world I'm from... it's somewhat complicated. It's a world where magic exists aplenty, good 80% of the entire population being able to perform feats of magic to some extent. Nex to that, many different creatures exist as well." Looking back down on the ground, she tried to recall it all.

"This gave birth to many different places called guilds. Communities of mages for hire, essentially. I was one of such mages, often hired by the rich to do something for them. Be it hunting down these creatures or fighting other humans who were seen as 'evil' by my employer, I did it all." Putting her hands together, she sighed rather aloud.

"To put it simply, I am someone who trained from a very early age to fight. I guess that makes me someone who is not exactly a very good person." She laughed awkwardly again as she looked at her vampire friend and scratched the back of her head. "Not to mention that such things are useless in a world like this. Probably for the best, too."

Vi listened intently as Leila described where she came from. Her home, and one that she was currently away from for whatever her own personal reasons or situation were or was. It sounded fascinating and her eyes still held that glassy look to them as Vi fed on Leila's emotions. The good and the bad.

"Your world sounds amazing. With so many people having magic it would be like if this island was how the rest of the world here worked," she said thoughtfully as she wondered how that would have changed her life. She might not have been so easily grabbed up to be turned into a vampire. But she was pretty sure they still would have been doing really bad stuff anyway.

Vi could taste the unease coming from Leila and she frowned. "Hey, you seem like a pretty good person to me. You've been nice to me, offered me emotions and flowers and we're already friends even though we just met tonight. It's how we act now, not what we were trained to do before," she said very firmly. So much so it seemed a little bit out of character. But Vi was adamant about that fact. She too had been trained for unpleasantness and was fighting to become a good person despite her past.

She wasn't angry or being mean, in fact she was reaching a hand out to pat Leila on the shoulder. This was just a topic that hit home for her.
