Honestly Violeta had expected a little bit of a reaction when she mentioned her feeding. It always happened. "No, I understand. Someone saying they're gonna eat anything from you is a little off-putting and emotions are pretty private things."

She couldn't really talk with her mouth wide open so she waited until Leila was satisfied before continuing. Right back to smiling and tapping her foot a bit she went. She was in a pretty good mood regardless of what they had been talking about. "I mean you really don't have to do anything special for me. I have two ways of feeding. One, which is always happening, is I just slowly feed on the extra emotions people are giving off freely. Technically that's why I know what emotions you are feeling right now. Think of it like invisible trails of... yummy candy. The stronger they feel the more they give off. It takes a while to get enough from people that way unless they are really really emotional." She paused to let that sink in. Like she had said, emotions were private things. The trouble was she couldn't exactly turn that sense off.

It made sense. Most sentient beings were pretty concerned about their well being and having any part of their body or psyche removed to be 'eaten' usually meant a bad thing for them. But thinking about it a bit more, both blood and emotions were something that a body could produce endlessly. At least under the right circumstances anyway. And Leila had little fear for her own life when it came to things like this. Prior experiences have toughened her up at least a little bit.

So when she heard the way Vi was actually consuming emotions, she nearly jumped up on her two feet in excitement. In fact, the positive emotions she was feeling were basically radiating off of her right now! "So, so... I can help you feed by just talking and interacting with you, right! Aaah, I'm glad that's the case... it feels like your kind would be kinda looked down upon by others, so feel free to take as much from me as you want!"

It was not really pity of any kind. More like Leila simply enjoyed helpings others whenever she could. That was why she made an offer like that, happily and without any strings attached. "I would have let you drink my blood as well, despite that prior reaction. I just didn't want it to hurt too much... oh, but now that I think about it, I read about vampires that inflict orgasmic pleasure instead when draining their victims of blood..." And now she has trailed off the topic again...

Whelp, she was definitely feeding off of Leila. Not that she hadn't already been doing so but the spikes in her emotions were... well delicious. That's how Vi experienced them. Her eyes glazed over a little bit with the increase in emotions. "I mean around here vampires aren't really looked down on but you really can help me just by being around me. I love being around people, especially when they're having fun and stuff!" She was grinning happily with her newfound friend all excited next to her. Because that's already how she saw Leila at that point- an awesome new friend.

And then the second part of Leila's rambling excitement struck. Well, it was a mix of several emotions at that point but the secret was that all emotions tasted great to Violeta. She giggled at Leila trailing off with her thoughts apparently drifting in a certain direction. "I'm afraid I don't quite have that gift. My more direct way of feeding drains you of all emotions for an hour or so. Maybe not as fun as the other one sounds," she admitted as she tried to remember what it felt like to be without emotions for a time. It had been a long time since it had been done to her.

She turned to Leila and thought for a moment. "Actually they have an app here called Bleedr if you were interested in helping other vampires and such feed. I don't really need to use it if I just hang around people a whole lot but it's a good app."

At first look, this place seemed like it was a utopia. Home to just about anyone, place where they would not have to be afraid of being looked down upon or hunted down. Of course, even Leila knew that this was not true. No place was ever perfect, so even this academy surely had its dark secrets. The question was whether the girl would ever get to see any of them. Maybe one day, not alone. She was quite sick of dealing with problematic situations all alone.

But this was no time to think about that! The fact that Violeta appeared happy herself made Leila even more delighted, even leading her to lean it and gently grab the vampire's hands with her own. "Then feel free to call me whenever you feel hungry! This new world is really exciting, so I think I'll be able to give you some of my emotions pretty much at any point!" There was no way she would be able to avoid having some lows, but she was indeed a girl that was happy most of the time.

She also pondered for a moment. Not having emotions... she had actually experienced that in the past, a lot. Years upon years, centuries and more even. But she did not remember any of it as of right now, which made it more difficult for her to realize just how bad it could be once a person knew how it feels to have emotions. "Hmm... maybe that could be viable to do with someone who is about to fall asleep or already sleeping, so they won't mind being drained of emotions for a while!" She then ended up suggesting, wondering if she was being a genius or a fool.

Though they also ran into another tiny problem. The maiden was intently listening to her new friend about the vampire population in this school and how they were getting fed when she suddenly asked "App? Sorry, what does that mean?" She didn't have a phone. The world she came from had some technology, but not as advanced as the one here. Back there she had something similar to a phone, but it was limited in what else it could do aside from providing means of long-distance communication.

Vi didn't have much of a problem with Leila taking her hands into her own and the woman kept radiating those pleasant emotions. Meeting someone like her that night was a wonderful coincidence. "Um, well i'm kind of always hungry unless I get a lot of feeding all of a sudden. But sure, I can hit you up if i'm looking for someone to hang out with and maybe feed a little," she said with a little bit of a goofy grin on her face. With the contact she felt the brief tug of hunger that whispered for her to start truly feeding but she pushed that aside like she always did. She'd get plenty just sitting there.

She looked a little unsure about the suggestions though. Feeding on someone sleeping was just... well, wrong. "I really only do that kind of feeding if someone attacks me or I have permission. I guess if someone said it was ok though it would be fine. Not sure what that would do to their dreams and stuff though."

Oh, right. She was pretty new to the island apparently. Vi, pulled out her phone so she could show off the app. She would have given Leila her phone number too but Leila didn't seem to be pulling out her own phone. "It's a program thing you can put on your phone. I don't really use this app much but I would put in my information and what i'm looking for, emotions to feed on in my case, and then someone else would put in their info and say they wish to be fed from. We'd either be matched up or find each other's profiles and we could start chatting. If things seem to work we could meet up to do the feeding thing." She let Leila hold her phone and look at the app, though she wasn't logged in to an account so there wasn't a whole lot to see. A text came in, making the phone vibrate for a second but the message wasn't displayed.

Being always hungry didn't exactly seem like a very pleasant problem to have. But then again, maybe the other girl meant it in a fashion where someone only eats small portions of food many times a day so they stay constantly half-full rather than being completely full during certain times of the day? She could only hope that was how it worked, as she'd hate for anyone to be constantly starving just because of who they were born as.

"There might be times when I will be too busy, but all the other times, I will gladly go anywhere with you and have fun! You seem like a really nice person, after all~" She replied playfully. And she honestly did not mean anything bad with the whole feeding on dreaming people, as she assumed there would be consent in the first place. "I see... must be tough, huh?" Now the silver-haired girl's smile grew a little bit sad. She honestly felt sorry for some of the creatures here, as well as in her home world, that had difficulties even with what appeared to be the most simple of tasks.

But when Vi pulled out her phone, the sadness thankfully disappeared and was instead replaced by curiosity, making Leila tilt her head to the side as she observed the device. She listened carefully and the moment she got to hold the device, she would look it over rather thoroughly. "Heee... it kinda looks like a lacrima communicator from my world, but more advanced! Never seen anything quite like it-" Then it vibrated and pretty much flew right out of the girl's hands as her body jerked in response and shock. Thankfully, her reflexes were rather good.

Her right hand suddenly changed in color and texture, looking almost like it was part of a tree, but gray in color. And from this hand of hers shot out a vine that wrapped itself around the phone and safely returned it back to her without damaging it at all. That was Leila's magic and one of the reasons why she was in this place meant for special beings. "S..sorry, I didn't expect it to react like that! I didn't break it did I... it hissed at me..."

Vi grinned at the mention of having fun and her being called a nice person, she was almost always up to do fun things with her friends and she was pretty sure she would get along just fine with Leila. However she shook her head at Liela's question about it being tough.

"There are some things I have trouble with, but making sure I get enough feeding isn't so hard really. All kinds of emotional people around here. Wait.. I mean I feed on the bad ones too but I prefer happier emotions."

The sudden jerk of Leila's body surprised Vi and she looked over with concern, only to see the woman's hand shooting out a vine to grab the phone. She giggled as she saw the phone was indeed undamaged, "no, no it's ok. I didn't expect someone to send me a message while I was showing you my phone." She carefully took back the phone and put it away, after checking the message.

Vi put her hand on Leila's shoulder and smiled. "So you have some sort of nature powers by the looks of those vines? That's really cool."

It made sense that the vampire could feed on any kind of emotion, just how humans could eat almost anything that was actually meant to be eaten. From that, preferences came. Though it kinda made Leila wonder something. "So... if you have a preference like that, does it mean different emotions 'taste' differently?" How exactly would an emotion taste?

It also seemed that Vi was not mad at all that her phone was nearly broken into pieces on the ground, that was good. Still made Leila sigh that she let something like that happen, but thank goodness for her reflexes. She happily returned the device and sat back straight on the stone bench while looking to the side at the other girl.

"You could say that. The Gardens of Eden gave me the power to summon its nature at any point and to communicate with the nature of any world as well to an extent. Imbuing a part of it with magic, I can also control it. Ah, the Gardens are also my home, a different world! Though not one I was born in." It was probably a bit confusing, but Leila wasn't quite sure how to explain it better. At least not yet.

Violeta laughed. Everyone wanted to know what emotions actually tasted like. The trouble was putting it into words. "Well," she started as she twirled some of her hair aroud her finger as she thought. "Yes and no. They all taste delicious and make me feel good but I can taste a difference between them. It's hard for me to really separate the taste from the feeling of emotions but things like happiness are sweeter and more airy. Depressive emotions are more savory and um, attraction tastes kind of like a rich dessert. I think. I can't taste anything other than emotions so I might be a little off."

Vi wasn't too worried about the phone. She could replace it if she had to, though that would cut into her money quite a bit. It was more important for the moment to reassure Leila that everything was ok. She smiled and listened with interest as the woman described a little about her magic.

"Kinda funny how some of the religions here in the rest of the world have their own stories about a Garden of Eden too. Supposed to be a garden made by a god or something like that and the first people were made there. I don't really study religion too much so I don't know any more than that. I like nature- running around in the woods and climbing on trees and stuff is fun. I don't really have any powers related to it though." She paused for a bit to think about Leila having been born in one world, given powers in another one that she calls home, and then coming to this world. That was a lot of traveling.

Vi had done lots of traveling herself, though that had only been to different countries in the narrow reality. She'd never been off-world unless you counted going to the space station. And she didn't think that counted. "I guess you travel quite a bit then. Does that mean you're not going to stay here?" She asked, wondering if Leila was just visiting for a while. That would be a shame but she understood the need to keep moving.

The girl listened almost with bated breath. For some reason, it was really interesting for her to figure out how emotions tasted like. Actually, it was not that surprising. She always loved learning about new things, especially now that she was in a completely different world that operated on different rules than the ones she had visited before. She would not have been a proper wanderer if she was ever satisfied with what she already knew, after all.

"Oho... well, it makes sense. I'd be difficult to describe how a color looks like to a blind person as well. But I think I've gotten a pretty good idea at least, so I can do further study later on!" Rather ecstatic, Leila grinned at Vi as she nodded in agreement over this whole situation. It might not have made any sense to others, but the silver-haired maiden actually could gather a lot even from the vaguest of descriptions. A skill that often came handy to her in the past.

Then the talk came back to the Gardens of Eden. "Religion... wait, do those from this world really speak of Gardens of Eden?" That was rather surprising. There was not one from her world that would mention her world like that. Perhaps it was just a coincidence, but she couldn't quite put at rest the idea that there might have been more to it. Rather curious now, the girl fell into a deep pondering for a moment. Though she soon shook her head again and returned to Vi, as she was the one who deserved her attention now.

"Well... I plan to visit other places in the future, yeah. But there is still a lot for me to explore in this world, so I definitely won't be leaving anytime soon! Not to mention I could always pretty easily return here, I can go back to my world and then here again with a snap of a finger!" She boasted a little with how powerful her world-shifting power could be. But she knew how to use it responsibly. She also moved one of her hands behind her back, as she carefully grew something in it. And soon enough, she presented that hand to her vampire friend.

In it lied a sparkling rose, it's color being a mix of blue and purple. "Here, a compensation since you can't just grow them as I can!" In other words, a little silly gift.
