"That's a quick assumption to make about someone you just met," Darzih replied with a small smirk. "I'm perfectly happy here. I wouldn't want to go back to my previous dimension. If I was so worried, I wouldn't be taking my time relaxing here and speaking to strangers."

"I can't tell if you're joking or you're that narcissistic," Darzih replied plainly. "Let's remember: we just met. I don't know your kind of sense of humor, so you'll need to be more clear with me on this stuff. Because right now, you assumed a big part of my life, almost pushed unwanted help on me, then shrugged off the misunderstanding."

That certainly caught his attention. Apollo opened his mouth as if to talk then closed his mouth and swallowed hard. After a moment he opened his mouth.
"Yes, of course, I'm sorry I assumed you wanted to go back from the place you came from, it seemed logical to me. I also apologize about the unwanted help, there is no basis for me to have assumed anything about you."

Darzih smiled pridefully at the reaction he was given. An apology from a fae. Knowing how uppity they could be about apologies, he was intrigued about this one. Could he also lie? Was he also not bound by debts?

"Don't worry about it. It's not an illogical assumption. Most people assume I don't want to be here, but this is a nice island and I have no reason to return home. I simply don't like help being forced onto me."

Apollo met Drazih's eyes. Absentmindedly he curled grass around his finger.
"Yes I think the physical island is nice. I understand not wanting help from strangers!"
The way he said the sentances made it seem like he chose his words carefully.

"I am only here to research and maybe interact with strangers. I don't care about this islands inhabitants, or any of the problems here."

With that clarification out of the way, Darzih wanted to address the much more interesting topic. "Physical island? Is that another island I don't know about?"

Darzih couldn't figure out if he was offended or not. He felt somewhat annoyed, speaking to someone who might have found him boring, but it wasn't something he was unfamiliar with. He was never meant to have an interesting personality.
