There something else Darzih would much prefer to address. "If you don't mind me asking, I thought faeries have a mixed reputation here? Not as bad as what I hear about demons and their problems with the People Against Evil group, but enough of an issue to make first impressions difficult."

"Since I'm new too, I'm interested in how species interact here. Most of the species here are new to me, and it's interesting to see how they interact. It's important for me to understand any problems there are too. I don't know much of that will be taught in my cultural classes."

"I arrived here on... the second of November? If I have my months and days correct. No! The first. The first of November. But yes, I suppose that's true for the most part. I'm here because the dimension I was in bumped against this one. Presumably when the island was moving dimensions. That's the best guess the experts at the school had for me based on my story and the time I arrived."

Apollo glanced up at the clouds and pointed one out.
"Is that a shirt cloud? Did they have those in your dimension?"

"I smell the maple again. What if Darzih is actually a ghost? A winged alien dimension-hopping ghost"

The sudden barrage of questions left Darzih quiet for a moment as he tried to think of what to address first.

"You are asking a lot of questions at once," he pointed out. "I don't know what a shirt cloud is," he said as he looked up. "If you're asking if I've seen clouds that take on familiar shapes, then yes, I have." He looked back down at the man. "The dimension is fine, and I traveled a lot in space and had not encountered an island like this one. I have, however, been on planets and ships where multiple species mingle."

"Um, no, I don't. Not any that I can think off the top of my mind," Darzih replied awkwardly. "I should have been more clear: it's overwhelming to be asked many questions at once. It's hard to know which one I should address first and to make sure I didn't miss any."

He paused for a moment, then continued. "With all those questions about my dimension, I thought you were leading to something."
