Oddleif only blinked her eyes, studying Samael's hair for a few moments before she turned her attention to her own hair, bringing her hands to the poorly-tied bun at the back of her head, only to tug it loose and shake her head as to let her own snowy strands flow over free over her shoulders.
"I suppose ... yours is pretty." She answered while absentmindedly running her fingers through her hair, lightly scratching at her scalp. "I never really liked my hair, though - it always gets tangled and messy and gets in my eye ... and people think I must've soaked my head in a bucket of bleach to get it white." She made a face as she said this, scrunching up her nose in displeasure.
When the topic of shapeshifting came back in the conversation, Oddleif grinned as she easily jumped on her feet and excitedly bounced on the balls of her heels. "Hey, I never said I'd take that back! Even if you're not a household cat, it must be nice to be an animal. Can you also turn into something else - like a bird, and fly through the air?"
Not that she waited for an answer yet, considering how fast the conversation seemed to flow between the two - not that Oddleif minded, considering how fickle her attention span was. She only shrugged her shoulders and twinkled her nose at the mention of mice. "I don't think I'd want to know how a mouse tastes ... I think they're pretty cute, tail and all."
"Hey, I think I could make my ice sculptures last, even in the summer time - I wouldn't just let them melt into puddles, unless I wanted to!" She protested, her lower lip sticking out as she pouted, still quite unsure whether she could actually do what she had just said ... but that just meant she'd have to learn how to use her powers and try.
Nevertheless, Oddleif managed a friendly grin as she took Samael's extended hand, shaking it with a firm grim. "Hey there Sam - can I call you Sam? I'm Oddleif, but you can call me Odd ... because I'm odd like that." She winked at him, more than aware of the shameless pun she had said - but she was certain her little joke would be appreciated.
