It was a very warm weekend morning. The sunlight peeked through the window's blinds, warming up the bedroom sheets. It was far too early to want to leave the comfort of Laverna's bed. And why would she want to? Everything was more interesting here.

“Mmph...”

It was meant to be a lazy day. Laverna and Délise had caught up on grading the students' homework, as well as Délise's own. They finished working on some new potions, storing the complete ones away and letting a few others either cool in a separate fridge or ventilate just outside on the balcony.

“Ah...”

They weren't in love. No such thing for a succubus. But that didn't mean they weren't partners. Partners in crime, partners in bed... everything short of the romantic bond that, really, just got in the way of the good stuff. Why waste time with chocolate and flowers, after all? Ditch the flowers, and eat up the chocolate.

Chocolate...

“Oh shit!”

Délise pulled away from Laverna, panting hard. She looked back down on the dark-skinned succubus, her inviting figure... ugh... no. She didn't want to... ugh...

“I was supposed to bake a cake for Eric's birthday, today.”

Délise sighed, lowering herself back onto Laverna. She pouted, playing with Laverna's green hair. “So pointless. Another year older, and no less an overgrown baby.”

Laverna didn't actually have a bob, it was merely pinned up in that style for work. Her hair fell in glossy, thick waves that reached her mid back, and covered her delectably smooth body. Her hand caressed Délise's curve of her back.

"Oh, Eric's birthday? I'm surprised he even grows up. He has the attention span and overactive imagination of a thirteen year old boy." Laverna rose from her bed and stretched her arms above her head.

"I've got just the recipe you need for a dumb health and fitness nut like him. With a bit of a twist." Laverna woke up and dressed in a black shirt and cargo stretch jeans in burgundy. Something surprisingly casual.

"Here."

She handed a piece of paper to Délise, still in bed. She almost wanted to join her again, but they had a cake to bake.

Berry 'cheesecake' [Raw, Vegan]

Crust:
1 1/2 cups macadamias
1/2 cup almonds
1/4 teaspoon vanilla Sea Salt
1/4 teaspoon of vanilla bean powder
1 cup dried coconut
2 teaspoons cacao powder
1 cup medjool dates, stones removed
1 teaspoon coconut oil

filling:
2 1/2 cups soaked cashews
flesh from one young coconut
1 cup coconut water or almond milk
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/3 teaspoon vanilla bean powder
3/4 cup coconut nectar
1/2 cup fresh summer berries (plus extra for topping)
3/4 cup coconut oil, melted
1 tablespoon lechithin (melt with coconut oil.

Method
blend the nuts first, then add the other dry ingredients. With the food processor going, slowly add the dates through the feeder tube until the crust starts to rise up the sides of the bowl, stop and scrape this down. Add the coconut oil.

Take a 10 inch spring form cake tin and grease the bottom slightly. Gently press the base into place. Once you have covered the base of the pan evenly, pop it in the freezer while you make the filling.

filling method:
add all ingredients to the blender, except for the berries, coconut oil and lecithin. Blend until smooth and creamy, and then add the coconut oil and lecithin.

Take the pan from the freezer and pour in the filling.

Blend the berries with one tablespoon water and 1 tablespoon coconut nectar. Pour the mixture into the pan, moving the jug to distribute it evenly. Take a chopstick and swirl it around to create a nice effect.

Return to the freezer for 1/2 hours to set, and then pop it in the fridge for an hour or so before serving. Top with fresh berries or grated chocolate.
"I didn't write the extra 'kick' in. I'm sure you know what it is. Remember what I said about heat and certain kinds of potions?"

Délise waited under the sheets while Laverna searched for a good recipe. Laverna didn't wait to get right down to business, which although was not quite Délise's usual style, did motive the younger succubus to a new degree. She took the recipe with a smile, reading over each ingredient. All of it sounded like something Eric would eat.

Délise, however, immediately struggled to understand how this thing was supposed to stay together. Where are the eggs? The butter? The sugar? What the hell kind of recipe was this? “Definitely sounds like something he'd eat,” Délise sighed. She slipped out of bed, stretching luxuriously next to Laverna.

“Extra kick?” Délise grinned. “We do have just the thing for an immature boy, don't we?” She paused for a moment. An ageing potion was a strange thing for a succubus to have. They would rather go for vitality than maturity, unless...

“Don't tell me you planned to use it on him...” she grinned. Eric might very well have a very lucky birthday.

"What better victim?" Really, Eric didn't need a vitality spell. She went into the bathroom to brush her teeth and comb out the tangles in her hair. Laverna's hair was wonderfully glossy and wavy. It got in the way sometimes, but the way it glided over bare skin was sensuous and silky.

"I think of him as an investment. I do feed on him from time to time but... I'd like to see how he would be in ten years time." She grinned devilishly as she traipsed into the kitchen, her jeans highlighting how her hips undulated when she walked. She got out the blender and arranged the ingredients. It shouldn't take too long.

"Of course, nobody needs to know. Where is the celebration being held?"

There really was no better victim. Eric seriously needed some growing up in that brain of his, though Délise figured Laverna might enjoy him for other reasons. Perhaps it was strange that she didn't mind, but Délise didn't think like a regular human anyway. Eric was about as much of a bit of food for a demon as anyone else, only her sibling bond kept Délise out of the picture of handling him. She still had some ethics.

Délise followed behind Laverna, tantalized by Laverna's wavy hair and sway of her hips. Délise had thrown on a simple gown herself, but there was little more in the world she wanted to do than remove everything and have an early sleep... with Laverna, of course.

“I'm planning it to be in his dorm room,” Délise explained, “A fairly private function. Eric is still relatively new to the campus as well, after all. Not enough time to get a big party list.” Délise set the recipe down on the counter and looked over the first few steps, organizing the dry ingredients into a bowl to pour after the nuts were blended.

“I'm sure you are welcome to come. No... of course you will. You'll want to see the potion in action.”

"You really think I'm going to deliver the cake and just leave like that?" Laverna chuckled. It was a terribly funny mental image for Laverna to act so meek. Hello Eric. I heard it was your birthday, so I helped bake a cake with your sister. See you later, I've got work to do.

"How perfect that it's private. I won't let you have all the spoils to yourself. Grease the pan for me? It just has to be slick, not lubricated." Laverna handed Délise a chunk of coconut oil. It was solidified and melted in warm palms. The blender blasted all the ingredients into tiny little pieces, until it turned into fine raw food mush. She scraped the blender's sides with a silicon spatula, and then blended it again.

"So? Who else will be there?"

“I was more worried you wouldn't show up at all to take credit,” Délise took the coconut oil and grasped it in her hand for a short while. Once it softened, she'd spread it along the pan. Délise tried not to 'lubricate' it, it'd be a waste of oil just to tease Laverna, but the chunk did melt rather quickly against the pan.

“Hmm. My sister and other brother, of course. Fleur and Félix. That might be it, unless they bring a girlfriend or something,” Délise commented.

She glanced over to the blended food. It just looked like... mush. Were they really going to make a cake out of that? Délise did trust Laverna with food, she wouldn't just toss out a stupid recipe. “What's next?” Délise asked. Part of her hoped, despite the fact the recipe was labelled 'vegan', that Laverna would tell her to throw a bunch of eggs, butter, and sugar into the mix.

"Never. I am not a chef that stays in the kitchen all the time. I must go out and mingle, and especially show off my talents." Laverna stated.

Once the pan was greased, Laverna removed the blender from the base.

"We're going to get our hands a little messy." She winked. She poured the mixture into the pan, and moved the pan horizontally in rapid motions to have the mixture level as much as possible. "Press it to the sides. It should be at least 1cm in height. It will be a little moist, but not too sticky."

"I'm going to add our 'special blend' into the cake filling. Then we'll take a break."

Laverna was an intelligent woman, no doubt. Even intelligent people became overzealous and excited, which lead to simple mistakes.

Before Délise could sing a certain Spice Girls song, Laverna already pressed the button, and the concoction was set for the entire cake. Perhaps she wouldn't even notice, because the process was so fast.

While Délise set to spreading out the cake mix, she noticed Laverna already preparing the filling with the concoction. It was at that point she noticed something particularly disconcerting. Laverna had mixed the potion with the entire filling... meaning...

“Hey, is this whole thing going to be for Eric?” Délise asked.

When Laverna had mentioned she didn't plan it to be, Délise gave her a second confused look. “But uh, you just mixed the potion with the entire filling.”

Now anyone who took a bite of the cake would grow older, except for Laverna and Délise. That seemed... almost incriminating. On the other hand, she always wondered what Félix and Fleur might look like if they had aged as fast as her, as well.

“You know what, it's not important,” Délise backed away from the cake once she flattened it out. She grinned at Laverna, “More fun for everyone.”

Laverna stopped whizzing the ingredients around in the blender for a moment, and then she looked genuinely caught off guard. She tried to keep it cool and collected. Her face said no. Délise read it, but she carried the spatula confidently, and flicked the hair off her shoulders.

"Oh. Well, if he can eat the whole thing, sure."

Awkward, pregnant silence. She waited for Délise to put the filling in the freezer. She smiled too when Délise mentioned 'more fun for everyone'.

"Well. We have about fifteen to twenty minutes to wait for the base to set. Why don't we have some fun?" Laverna stroked Délise's arm, snaking across the back of her waist. She knew it was on her mind. It was always on her mind.
