Izzy smiled as she pocketed her phone, she wished she knew details to give him but everything was still up in the air about her powers. She had no idea what it meant to be a season, and she felt like a freak when she said she was summer. It wasn't out of the ordinary for her to just go diving head first into whatever she was doing, however she wanted to actually makes friends on the island. It was supposed to be different than Italy, more accepting for people like her. She had her doubts but things seemed to be going good so far, her contact list was growing pretty quickly.
She took the toothpick things gently in her hand and inspected it and than gave it back. She assumed that it transformed into something but she wasn't sure. She just admired the confidence he had in his gift. Like he knew what his gift was and he was okay with it on some level. Her...not so much, she had no clue what she was doing. She sipped her drink slowly as she looked around, the coffee was pretty good though it wasn't as strong as the coffee she drank back home. "So what do you do for fun around here?"
