Izzy was trying to find a place where she could get her coffee, fix. After spending the first month of her time on the island trying to figure out what she was and the rest of the time trying to make friends. She had to make do with the coffee she could get from the school, which probably wasn't as good as the stuff she could get from a store. Which prompted the red haired girl to travel into the city with her map again.

She had gotten lost multiple times and finally found something that resemble a coffee shop. The fact that it had coffee shop in the title, made it all to obvious what was actually sold however she saw muffins. Considering she had walked every where she was hoping the muffins were good. After going and ordering an iced coffee and five muffins she sat down in a bean bag chair next to someone she had never met before.

They seemed busy and she didn't want to disturb them but she also wanted to make a friend. "Hi" She said quietly and a bit nervously, she was hoping she wasn't disturbing the boy too much.

Sipping almost silently on his newly made matcha-green tea latté that was still slightly steaming from his cup, Karic smiled in between his drinks. This was not his first time in the fairly busy coffee shop, as he enjoyed the people as well as the drinks that they served at the place. His second time having the matcha-green tea, he came back for another after only trying it the day before. It was by far his favorite one on their vast menu. As he wasn't really a fan of coffee, this was one of them that they offered that didn't sound bland.

Feeling rather overly happy with his warm drink in his hands, Karic jumped lightly when a lady plopped herself beside him in the shop's beanie bags. Turning his head towards hers as she greeted him, a brightly glowing smile set across his lips. "Hello there ma'am, I love your hair, it looks like crimson." He said confidently as he leaned closer to her. "May I feel it?" He said with his right arm extended close to her face. "Oh my name is Karic by the way, how rude of me."

Izzy smiled brightly when the boy didn't seem to mind her pestering. After all it was kind of awesome, a lot of people seemed to be grumpy. She didn't understand when it was such a beautiful day out. Not like yesterday when it had rained, after all it couldn't always be sunny outside. She kind of got the feeling that she had to make her first Summer as Summer grand and exciting. She was still learning about the town, so maybe she would just have to roll with the flow for a the first year or so.

"Thank you, and yes you can touch it. Just be careful please." She wasn't sensitive but her hair did have the tendency to catch fire. Though she was immune she highly doubted that people who touched it were. She wondered if she could make it like, not burn people but that was probably a no. "I'm Izzabella but I go by Izzy." She said smiling and offering out her hand. Izzy much like the season she represented was bubbly and fun, when she was happy and content.

"I will I'll be super careful. I love that name is so majestic." He said as he lightly touched it. It felt very hot, like a fire or a volcano, but she didn't want to exactly ask the girl why it was so warm. "Wow, it's really beautiful, I wish I had such amazing hair like you." He said as he shook the hand of the warm haired lady, surprised that her hand wasn't nearly as hot as her hand. "What brings you here?" Karic asked as she let go of the girl's hand. "Did you order anything special for yourself? Or maybe you are waiting for someone?"

'Okay and Thanks. I'm sure your hair is equally amazing" Izzy said smiling, she was glad that she was making friends. She was afraid that it would be hard, but it seemed that she was already fitting in with people on the Island. It did help that she was outgoing and random though so times she was afraid that she scared people away.

"Nope, i just ordered an Ice coffee, because I was looking for a place with good coffee. I'm kind of new, I just know how to get to the mall from the school and the library and here' She said listing the places off and counting on her fingers. It wasn't that much, she also forgot to add the beach but she was pretty sure she'd be able to find the beach anywhere no matter what.

"Oh, well I hope you like it here. Their matcha-green tea lattés are amazing. This isn't my first time having it!" Karic said happily as he gleamed over his drink as if it was a trophy. "I've been here for a while, so I could be your directional guide if you ever need one. I still get confused sometimes." Sipping his latté, he stared aimlessly at the girl, mildly focusing on her face and features on it. "Is there anything you want to know about me while you wait for your drink?" He asked gleefully as he took another sip.

"Oh tea? I maybe I should try it. I'm also looking for a good pasta shop. I haven't had any good pasta since leaving Italy." Izzy admitted, for some reason it was really easy to talk to the boy sitting next to her. Then he offered to help Izzy get around and she smiled brightly, and nodded so much her hair moved around.

"That would be so epic, I get lost all the time. Do you have a phone? We could exchange numbers." She said smiling, it felt good to actually say that she had a phone. She didn't need a reason for one before everything had happened. She felt kind of popular with the amount of number she had gotten, of course a lot of them were from boys that she had met at the beach but they were just there to make her contacts feel full.

"Uhm...would it be rude to ask if you were like...you know 'special' " She asked whispering the special part and using quotation marks. She wasn't aware of the protoocal when it came to not offending mystical magical awesomeness.

"Good to hear!" Karic said enthusiastically, glad that the girl hadn't turned down his offer, though he had little doubt that she would have anyways. "I can't guarantee that I won't get lost, as even though I've been here for a while, I still don't know everything about every inch of the island." He nodded, taking a quick sip of his drink, feeling it being close to empty. "Ah! Yes I have a phone cutie." He winked lightly, reaching into his back left pocket, pulling put a navy blue cased iPhone over his plain default black. "One second." He said as he unlocked his phone with his password, going into his contacts ad checking new. "Okay, here." Karic smiled lightly as he spun the phone is his hand, making the screen face her, leaning a bit towards her to type her information in.

"Special?" Tilting his head to the side, he nodded heavily, putting his drink beside him in the chair as he bent down, going to his 'gifts' location, pulling out the toothpick sized weapon. "This is my specialness."

Izzy shrugged "That's what makes it fun, getting lost and finding new things. At least I'll have some to discover things with" She said smiling as she was handed her drink. She passed him her phone doing the same thing as she put her number in it and took a picture for her contact photo. She handed it back to him and waited for her phone back.

She was confused but the weapon was kind of cool, she didn't have any experience with weapons so she wasn't sure exactly what it was supposed to do. She just nodded, she was told that not everyone on the island was special, some were just there for protection. At least they would see each other around in classes and stuff...right? She still wasn't sure how everything worked. "I have heat and water manipulation" She said, more like a second nature. There wasn't much she knew about her power yet so it was kind of weird for her to tell people she was Summer.

Putting his toothpick weapon in between his legs as he typed in his own information in the girl's phone, he only had a light grip on it as he didn't want to damage the item. Typing his name and number, he took a picture of himself with his tongue out for her, before saving his contact info, trading phones with the girl.

"Oooo! Water and heat? That sounds really different." He was thoroughly intrigued, as it almost seemed like the new were opposites. "That must be really cool." He added onto this sentence, picking back up his toothpick with his right hand. "I won't pry too much on the details unless you want me to know them." He extended his right arm towards the girl, flipping the toothpick around in between his fingers. "You can look at mine if you want, just be care." It wasn't like him to hand out his only sense of protection to someone he just met, but he doubted that she would break it, as well as it wouldn't turn into anything else without his hands on it.
