Cordelia blinked when Loriana was unable to answer. Not even her mutterings had been clear to the vampire, and had come out all jumbled for her ears. Slightly odd, but, oh, well. The girl would just have to repeat what she said.

As the winged one fell to her knees, the woman's dark blue eyes widened. Oh, no... not good. She was about to help Loriana back up when she completely fell over. "Get a bed ready," Cordelia told the nurse in a commanding tone, watching as the third female walked away to do so. She shook her head, knowing that all that nurse would be good for would be helping the red head.

The twenty year old bent down and gently scooped Loriana into her arms, being extremely careful of her wings and back. The result ended up with her holding the younger female rather awkwardly, but even so, she walked over to the bed and placed Loriana on it gently.

She turned to the nurse. "She has a broken wing, hurt her arm, there's a wound on her back, and I'm sure there's plenty of other injuries. Get to work, would you?"

The nurse nodded. She took out a small needle and injected something into the girl's vein, just to keep her unconscious and to keep her from feeling pain for a while after she woke up. The nurse started working on the girl's wing.

When she fell limp, she was no longer aware of her surroundings. She never felt herself being picked off the ground cautiously, neither did she feel herself being put on one of the hospital's bed. Her body was softly placed on the bed, her half folded wings hanging on the side limply.

Her eyes were closed, her skin pale and her muscles relaxed. The prick of the needle went unoticed, but the fire following it certainly didn't. Gasping, her grey eyes opened sharply, pupils dilated and unfocussed. She wasn't aware or even awake, it was simply a very starteling physical reaction. The area around the bite of the needle immediately started to turn a nasty shade of blue, the color following her veins up her arm.

The young woman nearly arched off the bed when the pain and whatever sleeping drug she had been injected with reached her heart. Instinctively, her wings lashed out, uncurling to their full length in a second, not enough for a normal human to get away from. The pain of her broken wing didn't seem to bother the avian girl as she tensed, one of her teeth piercing her lips creating a small trickle of blood on the side of her face.

The nurse went wide eyed when she saw Loriana's reaction to the drug. That had never happened before! There was no time to think about that, though; she had to get some more medicine in this girl to counter-act the allergic reaction. She had to do it fast, too, or else that vampire woman might come after her. She and the avian were probably friends, and she did not want to see what a vampire would do if they were angry.

She got more medicines and a new syringe to inject them with. As she turned around, she saw that her wings were spread out to their full length, and she sighed inwardly. This might be difficult.

The nurse quickly went back to the younger female and took the arm that wasn't blue and swollen. She injected the syringe and pushed in the drugs, hoping this time it would actually work. The drugs were only meant to counter-act the last medication, though, not make the female go unconscious or the like.

Cordelia smacked her forehead with her palm. "No one at this school can do ANYTHING right..." she said softly, shaking her head. If a nurse couldn't treat a patient, then there was definitely something wrong.

Loriana didn't feel the syringue enter her skin once more, her clouded grey eyes still open into a look of pain. Her lashing wings had toppled over a small table with various bottles and blades. Luckily, it did nothing more than to fall on the ground noisily and in a shattering of glass and piling of metal on the ground.

His arm would take time to unswell from its blue and black state. At least, the liquid hadn't had time to get to her heart, which was a good thing or she probably would have fallen minto cardiac arrest. Her tense form fell back on the bed, her wings once again hanging limply over the edge of the bed, the broken wing not having taken damage over the small fit of movement.

The young woman's eyes drifted closed again as she seemed to fall unconscious once more. It was good or she probably wouldn't have liked getting her wing set with her awake. She had stamina when it came to ignoring pain, but not that much and she had already suffered too much in such a short amount of time to be able to support more in a near future.

She would take it easy for a while after she would get out of the hospital wing if she ever did get out.

The nurse sighed with relief once Loriana had gone unconscious again. Apparently, it had worked, and she wasn't going to get hurt by that vampire. Her gaze went to the broken medical supplies that had made quite racket when they had hit the floor, and bit the inside of her lip. She would have to clean them up when she was done with this, since the patient was more important than a few supplies.

She put on a pair of gloves and walked over to where her wing was hanging off the side of the bed. Pulling up a chair and sitting down so she wouldn't have to lean over, the woman grabbed a few supplies that were intact and started working. She first cleaned out the wound, being as gentle as she possibly could in doing so. She was glad to see that no more damage had been brought to the broken wing when she had had the allergic reaction, otherwise the job would probably be more difficult and probably more painful.

Of course, once she was done with Loriana's wing, she would have to look at her back and check on her arm. This poor child...

Once done with cleaning it, she started putting the bones back in place.

Cordelia stood there, arms folded over her chest. She most definitely wasn't going to leave the room like one would normally do. She had to make sure this stupid nurse took care of Loriana instead of causing any more unnecessary damage. The vampire sighed and shook her head, wondering how long she was going to have to stay here with the girl. She didn't mind it, but she didn't want to be stuck in the same place for a week or the like.

The break wasn't as bad as it looked, but it would still need some reeducation and a cast. Fortunately, it was not an open break. Once the shirt she was wearing was off her back, the wounds she had were exposed for all to see. Between her shoulder blades sat a carved word, one that told of the beastiality of the man that had done that to her.

Her wound stated that she was a freak and a slut, even if it was not the case. She never even kissed someone before, well, except for her parents. The wound on her arm was ugly to look at but it could have been worst. A gunshot of a gun used to hunt ducks and deer had caught her on her forearm. Several scars crisscrossed over her back, testimony of her less than agreeable past.

The nurse got a cast and fit it to Loriana's wing once she had returned the bones to their proper places. With that out of the way, the nurse looked at the wound on the girl's back, wincing just at the sight. Someone had actually taken to carve such a nasty thing into the girls back. She got some disinfectants and bandages, and began to clean the wound on her back, quickly bandaging it once it had been cleaned. The woman looked at the scars, feeling sympathy for the poor child. She couldn't have had a wonderful past.

The nurse then looked at Loriana's arm, beginning to take care of that wound as well.

"Will she be alright?" Cordelia asked, glad to see that the nurse had nodded in response. The twenty year old didn't want that girl to die or get hurt any worse, and would take special care of her if it would be needed.

Loriana was deep into morpheus' arms, no pain could reach her there. It was a good thing too because she needed the rest. It was a good thing too that Cordelia had reached her in time. She probably would have gone sick.

Her eyelids fluttered a bit, consciousness seeping back into the teenaged girl's mind. When she opened her eyes, she was laying on her stomach, her everything hurt, but that she was used to. Looking as much around as she could, she saw the nurse that they had been greeted by.

When Cordelia spoke, she heard her and it reassured her a tad that she hadn't been left alone. Sighing, she tried to turn around, but it was kind of difficult since she had a wing in a cast, was on her stomach and her arm was in the nurse's grip.

As Loriana's eyes opened, a soft smile came to Cordelia's mouth. However, as the girl tried to move, the vampire didn't seem as pleased. "Just lay still, Loriana," she said. "I think the nurse is almost done. And I don't know if it's exactly healthy for you to be moving around... but don't take my word on that, I'm not a doctor." The twenty-year-old shrugged her shoulders. She cared, but she just didn't know.

The nurse nodded slightly with what Cordelia said, but was too concentrated on Loriana's wound to really pay attention. After a moment, she finished, and wrapped the teenager's arm wound up in a bandage. "That should do it," she told the girl.

"You feeling any better?" Cordelia asked.

She would have shaken her head to try and get rid of the sleepiness that had overcome her mind, but Cordelia told her to stay put and the nurse only agreed.

"I'm just peachy." She muttered, all the drowsiness she felt being in plain sight in her voice.

Trying not to move but wanting to get a look at her mummy state, she turned her head sideways, not really succeeding in looking at herself from that point of view. Not really wanting to lie but not wanting to tell how much her wounds ached, she just gave a shrug which ended half way before she winced and brought her shoulder back down. It had pulled a tad on her wnd for her efforts.

"At least not it will hopefully heal..." She told.

Loriana hoped that Cordelia would not leave her alone, that she'd stay just for a little while longer. The teenaged woman tried to give said vampire a pleading look that would have told she wanted her to stay, but one that would have said 'Get me out o the hospital, please!' and would have been accompained by a puppy dog look, but since she had her face turned away... it would have been difficult to carry her message across.
