"Nice to meet you, Loriana," Cordelia said when the winged female spoke her name. She waited patiently for the girl to answer her question about how she had gotten here, not going to rush or interrupt her.

When told that she had been hunted and chased here, concern could be seen on the vampire's face. However, she still didn't say anything, getting the feeling that Loriana was going to continue speaking.

Her eyes went to the girl's left arm when she covered it. "Did you get hurt there?" she asked. She hadn't seen the wound earlier, but then again, she hadn't been looking for wounds earlier.

"Humans do not understand differences and will hate you for not being like the general population."

Cordelia nodded in complete agreement. "Exactly..." she said. "Maybe one day they'll learn to accept what's different from them, but I highly doubt it will happen."

"Nice to meet you as well Cordelia.'' She replied.

Her eyes lowered to her arm, as if she was uncertain of the fact. Of course, she knew that she had been shot, but sometimes she managed to forget her misadventures.

"Indeed." was the simple answer. "They deemed it well to shoot at me with a hunting gun."

She mcursed the idiots under her breath and murmured something that looked to be: "The idiots probably thought I was a duck of some sort." was murmured with a snort.

The next sentence caught her a bit by surprise as she was in the middle of a very creative rant about the one who had shot her. She had been devising a plan including eyegouging and a spork.

"It would be a great day if they did, acceptance if something craved by every being." She said with a very small note of sadness. "But I won't get my hopes up only to get them crushed."

She shrugged and continued to walk, her thoughts supplying her with various torture methods.

When told that her arm was hurt as well, the woman nodded. "You should get that arm of yours checked out as well, then. Do you have anymore wounds?" she asked.

"The idiots probably thought I was a duck of some sort."

It had been murmured, but Cordelia's acute hearing had picked it up. "People are idiots," she told her. "Knowing them, they probably did think you were a duck. Or, even better, just wanted to shed some blood. The latter is more probable, though." A look of deep loathing came over her face for a moment, but left soon after.

"I doubt you plan on going back there, but if you ever want to get revenge, I'd be happy to help," she said.

".... acceptance if something craved by every being."

Well, the twenty year old didn't exactly agree with that statement, to be honest. She didn't crave to be accepted by anyone. "Most, but not every," she said. "But, agreed, I wouldn't get my hopes up. It'll be a long time before people understand how to accept others, if they ever come to understand it."

"It wouldn't surprise me if they did for fun, most are only morons and nothing more, I am happy you think so too." She said.

Rubbing her arm, she shrugged at her suggestion, it was itching a bit, but she didn't think it was that serious.

''I know I should get it checked, but I am not used to anybody caring or telling me to care for myself." She said before murmuring under her breath... "Maybe I should get my back checked as well... Nah."

When it registered to her that Cordelia had asked if she had anymore wounds, she answered.

"I do, but I do no think they need getting checked. They are healing rather beautifully."

They were now approaching the school fast and there wasn't much more distance to cover. They would soon be ion the school and threrefor in the hospital wing.

"Yeah, it will take time, I just wish there was no need for that type of conversation, if it was the case, I wouldn't be in this situation."

''I know I should get it checked, but I am not used to anybody caring or telling me to care for myself."

The woman nodded. "Well, you'll get used to it soon, I'm sure," Cordelia said. "Almost all of the people at this place care. Odd, but I guess it's a good thing, right?" When the other female mentioned getting her back checked, concern remained on her face. "What happened to your back?"

"I do, but I do no think they need getting checked. They are healing rather beautifully."

"If you're sure," the vampire said. "But, just a warning, the nurses still might want to check it. They're just.... nurse-like that way." She almost laughed at how she described the nurses, but refrained from doing so.

"Yeah, it will take time, I just wish there was no need for that type of conversation, if it was the case, I wouldn't be in this situation."

She nodded in agreement. "Exactly. I'm sorry this happened to you." By now, the two were at the school. Cordelia opened the door and held it for Loriana, waiting for her and not going to walk too far ahead of him.

''I suppose it is, but you've got to agree that it is sometimes weird don't you?'' She replied.

Surprised that the other woman had heard her mutterings, she answered nonetheless.

''My back? Oh, its nothing, some drunk guy felt the need to carve something into my back, it reminds me that i will have to check what it says.'' She said offhandly.

She had bandaged it as best as she could, but she certainly wasn't a professional in bandaging anything, let alone herself.

''It seems like an universal nurse trait isn't it? They don't let you go before they deem you healthy enough, which can take weeks.'' She said with a small whine.

She had been the victim to that sort of treatment once when her parents had been forced to get her to a hospital when she had broken her arm and collar bone in a fight with another girl, a very nasty bully that one had been.

''Thank you.'' She said with a small smile when she said she was sorry for what had happened to her.

She entered the school, being forced to walk sideways to pass the door so her wings wouldn't be stuck or jolted by the sides. They were quite large. She turned to Cordelia with a questionning expression, she didn't know where to go now.

''I suppose it is, but you've got to agree that it is sometimes weird don't you?''

She nodded once again. "Yeah, I agree. It can be weird sometimes."

''My back? Oh, its nothing, some drunk guy felt the need to carve something into my back, it reminds me that i will have to check what it says.''

Cordelia's eyes went completely wide. "What?! Are you ok?! Does it hurt, is it bleeding a lot, how did that happen?" Concern was all over the former mothers face. Even if she was a vampire and caused people pain, she still hated to see people in pain... well, sometimes; it depended on who was hurt. She knew that it had been a lot of questions, but she couldn't help that, really.

''It seems like an universal nurse trait isn't it? They don't let you go before they deem you healthy enough, which can take weeks.''

"Ha, indeed," she said. "It isn't fun being sick or hurt, though, so I suppose they have a reason to keep you there."

Once Loriana was inside the school, Cordelia closed the door and started walking toward the hospital wing. The girl didn't know where to go, after all. Once at the hospital wing, though, the woman merely looked to the winged girl. "Do you want me to stay here with you or leave?" she asked.

"If it is bleeding?" she asked than tried to look above her shoulder to get a look of her back. "I don't think so."

The young woman simply avoided answering about if the wound pained her or not. She had forgotten about it and wasn't keen on remembering the whole affair. The word was etched between her wings going down to her hip.

"Oh, I was hidng from in the woods and then this drunk guy came over and knocked me out and carved something into my back." She said shrugging.

She didn't remember much about it, he probably used a rock or branch to knock her upside the head. As they approached the hospital wing, she became exceedingly nervous and entwined her hands together to keep them from tembling too much.

"You would stay with me?" The young redhead woman asked.

"I don't think so."

Cordelia nodded. That was good; when it was bleeding, it didn't bleed too much, so at least she didn't have to worry about the younger female bleeding to death. "Alright, good," she said.

She had noticed that Loriana didn't answer the question about whether it hurt her or not. The mother within twenty year old wanted to force it out of her, but decided not to. If she didn't want to talk about it, then she wouldn't make her. Besides, the nurse would probably be asking all these questions. She doubted Loriana would want to be asked the same things twice.

"Oh, I was hidng from in the woods and then this drunk guy came over and knocked me out and carved something into my back."

That poor child! She had gone through so much pain in her short live. No one deserved that sort of pain, especially one so young. Sure, the girl was a teenager, but that didn't mean that she was old enough to be treated like that. Compassion showed on the vampire's face. She didn't repeat her apology, though, figuring that a second time in saying it wasn't needed.

"You would stay with me?"

She could almost feel how nervous Loriana was. Because of this, and because she didn't want the younger female to be alone during this, Cordelia nodded. "Of course," she said with a small smile. The woman's head turned as she saw a nurse approach, and then looked back to Loriana.

"May I help you?" the nurse asked, looking to the winged girl, especially at her wings.

Grateful for her support, she muttered a small thank you, refraining from hugging the other woman. She was startled when the nurse announced herself she nearly jumped but merely took a small step back.

Loriana looked at her hands, feeling abit shy with the nurse coming in, she had never been completely comfortable with nurses and doctors of all kind. Fidgeting under the gaze of the nurse, she turned a slightly panicked gaze to the woman who had accompained her so far.

Torturing her hands for a moment, she mumbled something unintelligible under her breath, lowering her gaze to the ground. She couldn't deny she needed help, but she couldn't help but feel uncomfortable around the nurse.

Her control over herself had been slipping since they had entered the school and she wasn't feeling too well as her wounds and exhaustion caught up with her. Her face paled and she felt her knees weaken under her. She tried straightening herself but to no avail. She fell to her knees, her eyes closing. The redhead then fell on her side, unconscious. Fortunately for her, she had fallen on the side of her unbroken wing.
