It seemed that the girl loved his chasing game that they were doing. For Cairo, it was fun to have a girl throw him for a bit of struggle, but after a while, it wasn't as fun for him. He didn't like to think that he may not get his girl after all. There was something about her that drained him in, though he could't put his finger on it.

He followed her body as she moved around so easily. People weren't even close to him anymore, as he hadn't changed his pheromone yet; the yucky smelling scent was still in the air and around him. "I'm eager to get you out of the air and perhaps, get to know your name?" She was right, he was chasing after her and he didn't know her name. It wasn't the first time though, he was used to kissing and even having sex with nameless people. He had that affect.

"Maybe if you change that scent first!"

Unfortunately for Cairo, Darcy was a vampire. Vampires tended to be among one of the races that had enhanced senses. Smelling was one of those senses. So while his pheromones worked to make the others stand away from him, it certainly made her not want to get out of the air at all. She wondered how he was doing that. Did he fart, or was this somehow an ability of his? She remembered the light, sweet scent from before that quickly blew away from her thanks to the wind. She was confused by that scent too.

"I'll give you my name if you stop being all gassy. Deal?~"

His persistence earned him at least that much.

Shit. Had he really forgotten that he needed to.... Change his smell? Only a few minutes ago he had been using his opposite smell, but that was one more than one person. She crushed slowly to himself as he stared up at her. He wouldn't be able to use his power again, good job him. The most he could do would be to get rid of his bad smell. He sighed and looked up at the pale women.

"I'm not being gassy miss. I was trying to get others away from me so that I could only see you. I didn't want a bunch of people all over me." He smirked, though his words were unconvincing. Cairo got rid of the smell, but of course that just made he air reek of sweat and alcohol.

He wasn't being gassy. Suure. Then again, this was Manta Carlos. While she definitely believed him, she couldn't resist the opportunity to playfully jab at him. After all, that kind of power just had plenty of ways to poke fun at it. Once he stopped emitting that nasty scent, it was back to the usual scents of the club: sweat and alcohol. Neither of these were appealing, but it was something she was definitely used to. She could live with that. The vampire slowly lowered herself to the ground. She still hovered above it but was just an inch or so above the floor.

"A deal's a deal. My name's Darcy! Now can I have yours, or do I have to call you Stinky Boy?"

She teased as she finally threw him a bone. She probably wouldn't really do that; she wasn't that mean.

"So your power is to make scents? Well...I guess it has its uses~"

Interesting, but not the kind of interesting that hooked her.

He was glad when she lowered herself, as he was starting to get angry that he had been failing so badly to get her. Even now his light blush as she called him duh a name made him look uneasy. "It's a pleasure to meet you Darcy." He offered his hand out for her to shake. That was a good place to start, yes? "The name is Cairo, and no, stinky boy will not due for me." A sly smile crossed as he stare slightly up at her.

"Pheromone control." He corrected her wordage as he tried to find the right words in his head for it. "If I like you, I emit a nice scent. If I don't, I emit that smell that you smelt only a few seconds ago." He nodded as he took a step closer, not wanting to explain it all to him. "Also, wind. What about you pretty lady?"

Darcy accepted the handshake. Her hand grabbed his and shook firmly. Her Rapunzel length hair still gently moved as she hovered. It did not take her long to get his name.

"Cairo....certainly better than 'Stinky Boy'. Sounds kind of Egyptian."

Her hand moved away once the handshake concluded. It was then he gave a short explanation of his powers. So the correct term for them was Pheromone Control, and he could use it to make people either want to be near him or want to be far away from him as possible. He was even kind enough to also reveal his second power: wind. Now she better understood what happened earlier. Sly devil was trying to pull her in. Unfortunately for him, she wouldn't make it as easy as he might have wanted it to be.

"Don't the fangs and the pale skin make it kind of obvious? I'm a vampire! I drink blood and stuff."

Her head turned for a moment to glance at the bar. The mention of blood made her think about drinks. Did this club have any drinks for her peculiar taste? She couldn't quite see the menu from where she stood. It was somewhat blocked off by people plus they were a good distance away. She turned back to look at Cairo.

"Pop Quiz! Did you notice what I did to get away from you?"

She wanted to know how observant he was. Plus it was funner than just telling him off the bat that she manipulated shadows.

"Don't really know where it came from really." He liked his name well enough, but his parents had never really filled in the detail of how or why they named him what they did. It was in the past now and obviously not that important.

"Well I didn't want to assume anything, considering all the different types of shit on this island." He nodded as he laid one hand on his hip, his once shaken hand ruffling his hair. "I find that very alluring, I mean you can suck my blood anytime, it doesn't freak me out." He winked playfully at the girl as he followed her gaze for a second before jumping st her question. "It's hard to explain. Kind of like you slipped into nothingness and then popped up out of nowhere once again? I would say invisibility but... It was something more." It pissed him off the he didn't know the exact answer.

A smirk spread on Darcy's face. She did enjoy taking sips from her partners. It was kinky and it gave her free food. Of course, some tasted better than others; she wouldn't dare bite into a slime creature. That just seemed like a bad and far too sticky time for her. Candy slime would be tasty though. Was there a jelly or gummy bear being out there for her to bang? But then she'd have to resist not eating them whole. While she debated taking a drink from him, he was busy trying to guess what her power was. He mentioned invisibility. That made her giggle.

"Invisible people are still solid. I would have had to squeeze and push through the crowd~"

She decided not to tell him yet and to hold off on her appetite. The vampire showed off her fangs once more.

"I'll let you try again."

"Right." It wasn't the easiest thing to guess someone's powers. There was so many different types; types Cairo had never seen or heard of. How was he supposed to guess such a thing? "I'm guessing it's not too common. Hm." The thought back to her being a vampire. There should, or at least there was a high possibility of her powers and what she was to connect... But what was the connection?

"Is it something to do with... Darkness perhaps?" He pondered it as he spoke. "Considering vampires like the dark and can easily move around in it?"
