Close friend wanted for tragic betrayal

Kazimierz (in signature) is a fae who feeds on misery. He has a very difficult time maintaining relationships because once he feels close to someone, he starts to worry about getting hurt. Kaz inevitably betrays that person in some way and feeds off their misery.


I'm looking for a character, preferably a high school student or a college student, to become close friends with Kaz. Ideally they could help each other out of a few tight spots, learn a few secrets about each other...and then Kaz will ultimately panic and betray that person in some way.

I'm also open to the possibility of Kaz feeling some kind of romantic connection with this person and that's what causes him to betray that person, but it doesn't have to work out this way. It's just a possibility!

@Wolfie I think that would work very well actually! It looks like they'e both music lovers and pretty similar in personality. Does Jake play instruments or only listen to music? I'm trying to figure out how they might run into each other!

That'd also be a pretty good betrayal. Kaz in theory is a generally good person to confide to until he turns it against that person. It would be sweet delicious angst.

@Wolfie, that would work! Kaz could run into Jake in the music room if that'd work out. it seems a good enough way to get them talking a little bit. Would you be up for a thread or do would you want to wait for a bit?
