Causing Mischief

Tania was in one of her most mischievious moods. She half walked half skipped down the hall. She happened to glance in the computer lab and her eyes lit up. She really had no idea what the machines were. She glanced around, and figuring out that you had to sit in front of it for it to work, she did so.

She looked at the weird black thing with buttons that had letters and the oddly shaped thing next to the other weird thing. She started pushing buttons on the first weird things. The screen lit up. She continued pushing the buttons, trying to get something to happen, and getting very frustrated when nothing did. "AH! STUPID THING!" She cried in frustration.

Out from the printer came the last page of Paul's report for history class. Corona marveled at how long and excellently written it was. Paul also seemed surprised that he was able to put such a great effort to it, and noted that he's done much better in everything since Corona had started training him. It seemed that Corona's "pointless" training wasn't so pointless after all.

He turned to leave, noticing he was the only one left in the room. Or, at least he thought he was, until he heard the voice of a frustrated girl. "What the frick? Sounds like someone is having trouble.." He made his way to where he heard the frustrated cry and saw Tania struggling with one of the computers.

"Um.. do you need help?" He calmly asked as he approached her. Corona commented on her appearance, and Paul said he wasn't surprised considering all the weird kids he had met in the school.

Tania sighed when the boy spoke to her. "Yes! It won't work. I don't know why it won't work!" She said exasperatedly. She'd be grateful for any help she could get. Humans and their stupid machines. One would think that if fairies could survive without them, then humans, who were much, much bigger would be able to.

She continued glaring at the annoying contraption on the desk in front of her, to perterbed to look back at the boy.

"Um.." He looked over at the screen and half-sighed, half-laughed when he saw the big "ERROR, INCORRECT PASSWORD" on the screen. He reached over her and typed in the school's global password. The computer accepted it and brought up the desktop.

"You've never used a computer before, have you? It seems complicated at first but it really is quite simple.." Who was this girl, again? Why was she all.. sparkly? Was she even a human? Corona didn't comment.

Tania made a noise that was something like a squeal. "Oh, thanks!" She said. "Um...what do I do now?" She asked.

You've never used a computer before, have you?

Tania made a face. "Well, duh! No." That was one thing she'd learned from humans. "They're too big for fairies. And I never had the need to use on anyway." She explained.

"Fairy, huh? You're.. a fairy." He made a strange, confused face.

[Paul]>Aren't faeries usually.. smaller? Or is that only in fairy (he paused at the pun) tales?
[Corona]>Both. Being a fairy would explain her appearance.. its possible she used some sort of magic to make her larger. I don't remember if faeries actually posses such an ability.. though it is possible they developed it since I've last met one

A few seconds of silence passed while he pondered over what she really was with Corona. It seemed she wasn't lying. He figured Corona would know what she really was.. and he didn't seem to have any disagreements.

"Well..that's interesting, I suppose." He finally said. He completely ignored her question concerning the computer. Oops?

Tania nodded. "Yes, that's what I said. I'm fairy...ish." She said slowly. She knew she was probably going to confuse him, but he hadn't asked for an explanation, so she hadn't given one.

She motioned to the computer. "What do I do now?" She repeated.

"Oh."He looked back toward the computer. "Um..well what do you want to do? There's a plethora of things you can do on a computer.. you don't just log on and do the same thing every time." He looked at her and started to wonder if there was even a reason she came here. Or maybe she was just messing with him? "....What is it you came here for?"

Tania was utterly clueless. The machine didn't even have a purpose? That was stupid. "Well, I don't know, what all can I do?" She asked.

She shrugged. "Came where? Here here? Or as in here as in the school?" She asked.

He lifted up his glasses and rubbed his eyes as he looked away. Was she serious? She acted more literal than Corona did sometimes. In fact, Corona quite often pulled tricks with tactics similar to how this girl talked. Maybe..

Would you knock it off? I don't think she's messing with you.. you're too paranoid.

"Are you saying you did not come to this room for any particular reason?" He finally said.
